Dex raises hit? I thought Str would raise hit.

Does Str affect damage only then?

NO. STR rises Melee hit and damage. DEX never rises Melee hit.s that.

. D&P isn't a fully faithful recreation of the ruleset, but knowing the D&D meanings of the stats should give a good idea of what they do.

Ah maybe I was increasing str and didn't realize it, I can't read the text heh. Just know that the screen showed an increase to hit and I hit way more, not sure if you get +hit with levels or just with Str stat increase.

Oh man blackmailing is really hot, I can't wait for this game.

Str affects damage, Dex is hit chance

The stat in this case follows D&D rules:

Str increase melee hit & damage

Dex increase range hit & dodge (AC)

First glance would seem like Str is the clear choice over Dex with any sort of melee built.

Though do note that there looks to be 2 resistance perk (feat) early on enabled by dex (14 dex I think?) that looks quite important once the full game comes out. At a guess I'd say for a virgin run you almost must have those resistance.

Haven't played the demo in a long time, but I recall one is knockdown resist, the other... hmmm... can't remember but I remember that it also seems important sex wise.

Well either way, I'm certain there will be some great perks for standard melee enabled by high dex later on too.

We'll see once the game comes out

My bet is around Christmas.

Redrawing pictures is almost done. but still doesn't touch to rebuilding scripts yet.
if I made release next demo at next weekend. it's happy.

I saw the game version is already 1.31, but on DLSite it's still not on sale. So it's not yet ready? The download link in the blog is demo.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but due to taxes in Japan, donation way of paying is preferable to DLSite buying? If I do it donation way, will I be able to access full game?

There is no donation way. What you're doing is paying for CG in place of donating because

"Japan residents can not receive a private donation"

Either way, a game as great as this will likely be pirated everywhere.
ILL, you should have this translated to increase the buyers...
You might find a lot of buyers here on this forum but most english people still won't buy a game they can't understand. (except for side scrolling games or something that doesn't require a lot of reading)

ILL your game looks great. the demo is amazing. if you get this on the English Dlsite, I will be buying. can't wait to play the full thing, keep up the amazing work, stay healthy
