Can anyone post a walkthrough of what to do in the game precisely? I can't seem to get a cave or anything of that sort. So far I've seen -

- The game over from the magic shop box
- The shopkeeper guy becoming a monster and raping her, then I guess she conquers him
- The game over from the vase
- Her first encounter with the black-haired girl

Where else do I go from there? I've talked to the village chief, I think, but I'm not sure.

Edit: Never mind, didn't see SFrame's walkthrough. But I do have one question: Where is this bandit ambush?

But I do have one question: Where is this bandit ambush?

It's just above the stairs at the bandit camp. The bandit camp is in the north-east most part of town. The event triggers only once you talk to the chief's daughter (the blonde girl) about the bandits (which happens after inspecting a scene between Cocoon and a bandit in the locked blue house) (which is unlocked after having a scene behind the magic store with another bandit, who gives you the key, I think).

The good man House has mentioned that he's aware of the lab bug, as well as one that keeps you from advancing in the story if you didn't talk to the witch in the magic store early on (this can be worked around by talking to her during the beginning phases; I didn't have a problem with this bug).

There isn't an official fixed version out yet; he said he's working on it.

hmmmm.....Like I said, I haven't solved the dark house chest trap yet....I was able to do other scenes and have initiated the tentacle invasion. I have 4 scenes of the Miko, 3 are of her being raped which Rio (thats her name, right?) saves her in 2 of them and one being her "helping" the guard-turned-tentacle in the guardhouse. The 4th is tied to the old man & his son from the first house in the game luring both of them to game over traps.

As it's kind of late and I'm rather tired, I don't remember exactly what events I've done or in what order. It's possible I've encountered another bug that allowed me to progress as far as I have while walling me from any further progression.

My current options during tentacle invasion:
Enter 1st cave room, 2nd room blocked by boulders. I've entered it prior to the invasion in which I fended off the guard who attempted to ambush Rio.
Enter Inn, can't enter any rooms (not even her own). Can only view gallery/wander around.
Enter First house where she wonders where the old man is who previously "motioned" her over to him, exiting afterwards results in 1 of two traps depending if daytime or nighttime.

wait, how do you do this bit in nighttime? the time changes to day when the invasion starts, and you cant sleep in your room.


how do i get the "nighttime trap" CG?

for the mayor + son duo, the 2 related scenes:

1) Right after you exorcise the blond haired girl and you see the cut scene with the mayor, go to the mayor's house and come back out. This all happens before you go to the stable with them horses, so before the invasion.

2) After invasion started, go into mayor's house and come back out.

That should give you both of the mayor/son related scene.

Also, you can get into the bandit/thug camp without the bills, but you can't get into the house. You can only get in once you've saved Cocoon from the bandits, which you can only do after defeating the ambush with the bills.

You get the trap CG (the one where Rio gets pushed into the well) by going into the chief's house without investigating the ranch (therefore without triggering the invasion).

• Hold S to speed up the game. Will crash the game if you hold the button when changing map.
• Hold Ctrl to skip through dialog.
• Press A to see dialog history.
• Increase the number of save files to 40.

As a side note, you can press Q to hide the dialog window (original version's function).

I always get annoyed by rpgmaker games without the ctrl dialogue speedup key (sloppy!) and it'd be great to be able to enable it on my own.

Please remember that use of the decrypter is considered illegal, and the development kit is not free, unless you pirate it.

• Install the development kit
• Decrypt the Game.rgss3a to the game folder
• Copy the file Game.rvproj2 to the game folder (create another RPGMaker VX ace game project and you will get one)
• Open the above Game.rvproj2.
• Choose Tools > Script and add the script you want above the Main script
• Save and play the game

You need to obtain the dynamite before triggering the invasion. The invasion puts nearly all houses on lockdown (gee that's pretty smart!) .

If you're trapped in the lab, use Rin's fix or download a newer version of the game (v1.02 and 1.03 are released).

I'm guessing that you're missing the 500g in the locked house.

At night, go to the dead end alleyway next to the magic shop, you should get key that unlocks the locked house south of the item shop.

If that's not what you're missing, then you missed one of the chest in an unlocked house.
