I know, it's weird. I'll try and fix that better in some future update.
All my spike traps do that. :confused:
Probably because I was inept when I made them. xD
The beloved jumping skeleton boss has a similar phenomenon,
where he shoots these 2 small fireballs.
If you move right after it crashes into the wall, a 2nd appears and kills you.

There is a bug at the Vinery. The light locks cannnot be used to teleport once you do it. For example from floor one you teleport to floor 4. Then from floor 4 you cant teleport at all. You select floor and it doesnt work.
Yeah I keep forgetting to fix that, or putting it off until I have all 10 floors done and then forgetting it again. I can be a bit scatterbrained. :confused:
I've got a note to fix it but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
"Extend light lock in vinery to levels aside from level 1."
So at least you can teleport to later levels. I guess I was too lazy to do the other ones because of Safety. I'll get it done eventually though. xD

Also im at lvl 10 in Crypts. I am missing 2 keys for the last 2 doors. Also i cant find my way on floor 9 (assuming where the other 2 keys are) and you cant return back to floor 8 from 9 because there is no door where you spawn at 9.
Thanks for noticing that. The area you're in can only be entered by breaking a wall. It'll be fixed in the next update.
Despite this, you can still get all 6 keys.
The keys are on levels 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Mostly in sub areas, except for the one on level 8.
You'll need the Acid, Hammer, and Wind Magic to get all 6 though.
You might not have realized it, but after you get the wind magic Sienna can hop up to (and down from) small ledges.

Not sure why that happens. The fireballs are supposed to hit the wall, split, and then go both up and down.

I realisd that i can jump hop with wind. Thats how i got 4/6 keys. I should really look around again. I think one of the keys is in floor 9. But like i said i cant acess the other parts and cant return to floor 8. I can only find few treasures and the door to floor 10. I tried looking for a breakable wall on floor 9 but no luck.

You won't be able to break the wall from that side. You basically got to skip a maze, some monsters, and a few non-essential boxes and such. The sub area with the level 9 key is just a few steps to the left of the entrance to level 10.
You'll have to use safety and go back through the earlier levels to get the other keys.

You might have missed one at the bottom right corner of level 8. There are a lot of enemy groups in the way so make sure you go back and save often.

Edit: I think I might just remove Reedo's Simple Side Battle System for now.
Maybe someday I'll find a better side view battle system to replace it with.
Unfortunately died so there's not many VX scripts anymore.
There are some side view scripts floating around out there but Tankentai's seems bloated and probably won't work well with the other scripts.
I'll keep a lookout for something similar to Reedo's. It's unfortunate that nobody seems to know how to fix RGSS2 scripts.

Remove the battle system? Can you explain what will happen in the future updates? The game wont have combat or ?

The player's characters would basically be invisible during combat. The battle system would still function the same as before.

Why the decision to remove it ? Incompatible with something or ? So basically the small fairy sprites will be invisible ? Also you said its based on script. When i alwas hear script i always thing of save problems in future versions. Will we have something like that?

Is Nadie currently the only child avaiable?

This is why I want to temporarily remove it (until I can find a fix for it or find an alternative side battle view system).
Normally, without battle system scripts, the player characters are not seen at all and monsters are static images (like the older Phantasy Star games).

Yes. She isn't available in the version I'm currently working on, but you can also get all children (though they do not age until you get them all).
After Kendra's quest is completed, all 6 children will be available as party members. Or at least, that's my intent. That hasn't been fixed up yet as many things (NPCs, Kendra's Palace, etc..) will change somewhat.

It will still be useful to feed the the children though, as
feeding them will give them extra stat points (probably HP/MP).
This will make their age differences quite noticeable. Nadie, being the oldest, will probably have higher stats than the others.

There is a new party member you can get. First you'll need to start Kendra's 2nd quest and then offer to help a new NPC in Kendra's Palace.

I've put the code back in the game. It randomly crashes for me, but not enough that I can live without the party in the battles. xP

I will "probably" have two different versions next update. One with and one without the characters being displayed.

Humm i think im kinda stuck, in the Even the Odds room where are like 5 switches, how many times do you need to pull up and down the swithces i did it once time followint the order of the capital letters but then just turn up 1 of the lights is that normal? or im missing something? :confused::confused:

There's a combination for each light. Each line of the puzzle corresponds to a different combination.
Even -
All even numbered switches must be down.
Odds -
...
Yelling Girls Run -
Yellow, Green, and Red switches must be down.
Ripe Blue Pumpkins -
...
you Ran Past my Goat -
Red, Purple, and Green switches must be down.

Where some switches must be down, the unmentioned switches must be up.

Surprisingly it only crashes for you. I never crashed. The only time i actually "crashed" is when i go to main menu and then exit, sometime the client could crash. But nothing involved with actual gameplay. Im glad its back in the game. It will be wierd not seeing the members.

Surprisingly it only crashes for you. I never crashed. The only time i actually "crashed" is when i go to main menu and then exit, sometime the client could crash. But nothing involved with actual gameplay. Im glad its back in the game. It will be wierd not seeing the members.
It also crashes for oratorio111 over at the hongfire forums.

Anyway I'm working with someone to try and get this fixed. It's the first time I've trusted someone with my project. :eek:

how to use earth (cantrip) magic? i just cant make plants grow to reach high places, am i doing something wrong? or.. maby i have an old version? where can i found the actualized version?

Due to my own limitations when it comes to eventing I changed Earth Magic, but apparently forgot to change the cantrip's description. Its primary use should should be to get rid of the green growth on rocks, which should happen automatically (after you get Earth magic) whenever you interact with the green, moss covered rocks.

In some future update the cantrip will probably do something else. In the meantime.. it doesn't really do anything.

The wind spell from The Crypts. You should be able to reach that boss now that you have Earth magic.

Not that I know of. You could browse the thread for random stuff though.

Maybe I'll make one someday, but currently I just feel like I should work more toward finishing the game first.
