Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

(She did ^-^ )

Left alone, and feeling a little sad for Giselle, Kylie pondered Shaela's words as she jogged, once again able to move through the jungle unmolested. The package full of clothing that seemed practically tailored to her was a blessing, and it was in clean clothing and with a smile that she made her way towards the camp.

Greeted by the red Alraune in traditional who goes there fashion before they recognized her, Kylie grinned at their question and nodded. "I have, I do hope the little one is alright and if it isn't much trouble, I'd like to continue to check on her every day or so, as well as to say hello."

Being allowed entrance to the camp, and remembering the little one had taken root, Kylie figured she'd still be on the small island and that was where she headed first, smiling and greeting each Alraune in turn as she moved, happy to see them all and to get her mind off of things back in the village properly, she still didn't know why Giselle seemed to think she was never coming back... That was rediculous, but the time basically to herself would do Kylie a great deal of good and being around the Alraune, who seemed very relaxed in most things and not likely to push her was also a blessing.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

(Alright then, I was just wondering.)

"Of course you can do that, you helped save her after all and everything, and she's doing just fine for now, though she's still asleep," the red alraune replied, gesturing her onwards towards the camp and retaking her position as sentry.

As Kylie made her way into the alraune camp, it would seem to her that everything had calmed down now and on the way to the little island the little one had taken root on, Kylie would see the other little ones running around playing with each other, it looked like they were playing hide and seek and the other little green alraune was it and searching for the other ones. When she got to the little island, she would see the little one still asleep, her color having fully returned to her, and she didn't look cold anymore either, looking pretty warm under the blanket of moss she had over her, looking rather peaceful all things considered. Kylie would also notice Ayane sitting on the banks of the stream looking across the water at the little one, a gentle smile on her face.

"Oh miss Kylie, how are you? Where is your friend Giselle? Is she alright? I do hope her wound hasn't reopened or anything," Ayane asked Kylie in a slightly worried tone when she noticed her, glancing up and looking at her.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie was overjoyed that the small Alraune was healthy and recovering, simply sitting down in the water near the island and very gently reaching out to stroke the young one's cheek as she smiled down at her, her eyes straying to the arrow buried head first in the soil nearby before turning to watch the other little ones play. This was peace you couldn't buy, or force, just a little golden moment to be cherished while it was there. And as fleeting as it was precious, Kylie was shaken from it by the sound of Ayane's voice and the inquiry about Giselle.

"Giselle is quite alright, although a little sad miss Ayane, You see, I've opted to live nearby in the jungle rather then with her for a time to get my mind settled. You see, I seem to be missing some memories, well... most of them and they've been coming in short violent flashes. I was hoping, if it wasn't too much trouble, that you would allow me to stay within this camp off to the side a little bit." She said, turning her gaze to meet the matronly plant woman's as she posed her question, gesturing to a seemingly unclaimed patch of earth nearby under the shadows of several trees, forming a small hollow.

"This would allow me some space away from the village, and keep me close to this little one here, who i've become rather attached to, as well as the other children, Who I'm HOPING will come say hi!" Kylie added, before calling out her odd little greeting to the children and sticking her tongue out playfully. "It's just... I don't know what it is, but I'm very protective of this one here" she whispered, leaning down to brush her lips gently across the sleeping Alraune's forehead before turning her attention back to the other children.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

When Kylie stroked the little one's cheek as she smiled down at her, Kylie would see the little one stir a little in her sleep before she continued snoozing on, showing a brief glimpse of a little smile on her lips that Kylie could see. "I see... well I'm glad she's alright, but I'm not happy to hear of your troubles with her. I don't mind you staying here near the little one, but... well it's none of my business, so I'll remain quiet on the matter," Ayane replied to Kylie, sighing about something before continuing, "The other little ones though, well they're playing right now, as it'll help take their mind off of what happened earlier. I'm sure they'll come and see you shortly though, unless you'd rather go play with them."

Kylie would see the other little alraune had noticed her when she'd come back to the shore after kissing the little one on the forehead, the lot of them gathering around her and looking up at her for a moment before the two red ones took either hand and tugged on her a little while the green one and pink one both tried to push the backs of her knees, while the blue one that was in there tried to help pull her to the ground, the lot of them seeming to want her to sit down. If she did sit down, then they would cluster around her and start climbing all over her, all but forcing her to the ground where they began snuggling up against her and hugging her.

"Hmhm, I think they like you Kylie," Ayane would say from where she was sitting, giggling at the sight.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie, giving Ayame a quizzical look after her seemingly thought better of comment regarding Giselle was soon distracted by the children she had come here to see in the first place, the odd little goofballs ganging up on her until she was covered in a crawling mass of tiny Alraune and forced to sit on the ground, which was what they had wanted anyway as they all started to hug and cuddle her, causing Kylie to giggle and return the affection, hugging them each in turn and snuggling all of them with a happy grin on her face.

From the bottom of the cuddle pile, Kylie was on cloud 9, completely at peace concerning just about everything as the goofy little Alraune seemed hell bent on showing just how much they were happy to see her, which warmed Kylie's heart to no end and forced her to smile no matter how badly she wanted to brood.

Looking down at them all, Kylie began to play with them, gently starting to tickle all of them with a grin smacked across her face and beginning to turn red with how hard she was laughing as they wriggled and flailed around, the assassin with no past surrounded by the giggling and laughter of happy children and people who were just glad to see her for a change, Kylie having felt seriously pressed upon by the others of the village for sex that she had met, with the exception of the guards at the gate, and the nurse, Even Delilah. And Delilah of course had warned this would probably happen.

Sighing after an hour of tickling, tag, and hide and go seek with the children and a great deal of splashing around in the shallows with them, Kylie would flop onto the grass and call Ayane over. "Now, what's this about Giselle you felt compelled to tell me before biting your tongue, Shaela did much the same thing, and now I'm thinking there is something I should know about the shy and nervous girl before I hurt her."

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

As the little ones cuddled and wrestled around with each other on top of Kylie, all of them vying for the position between her breasts, as it was the warmest place they could find, and after she'd laid down with them on the ground it was the top. In the end none of them stayed there for very long, as the rest worked together to bring the one on top down as another dove to take her place, only to be pulled back again. When they stopped wrestling around, after nearly twenty minutes or so, they went back to playing hide and seek, with Kylie joining them, which really seemed to make them happy.

When she was done playing and had laid back down to rest, calling Ayane over to talk, who had been watching them the entire time with a smile on her face, apparently liking that Kylie was playing with the little ones like she was. When Kylie asked her question about Giselle, Ayane sighed a little before launching into a rather long winded explanation, sounding a little tense about the whole thing as if she didn't want to talk about it, but was doing so for Kylie's sake. "Well Kylie, it's only through rumors that I've heard anything, but those aren't for me to speak of, it would be just plain rude to do so behind Giselle's back. I heard some of it though from Delilah and Tina, her older sisters. Before earlier I'd never really met Giselle up close or anything, but I had seen her of course. There are others of course that know, I know that Shaela and her sister both know, the village elder and all of the guard captains, as well as the village healer Reina, and Hazel I believe is the only other person other than the rest of them that knows about it, as she is the most powerful succubus in the village, possibly even in all of the villages. You should ask any of them for more information on it, as I only know things through rumors and what little was told to me by her sisters, but it might be wise not to ask either of them, or only Delilah if you must, as Tina is quite touchy on the subject."

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"I see, so everyone knows except me, and that could be disasterous. Alright Ayane, thank you for allowing me a temporary place here, and a chance to see the young ones, it was an absolute joy. But I think I'll take my leave and go see Delilah and Giselle and try and figure this out, so if you'll excuse me" Kylie said with a long sigh and a headscratch, still heavily armed herself and stretching.

Calling the little ones over, Kylie took the time to say goodbye to each one, all of them getting a hug and a kiss, and the little injured one a gently cooing over before she departed, saying a temporary farewell to the other Alraune as she went to go handle this apparently unforseen issue.

Once again, Kylie left them at a light jog, wanting to make good time but she ran with her daggers at the ready, just in case, everything seemed to have been too peaceful on this jungle route since she had started and she didn't want to get caught off of her guard and carted off somewhere for breeding, because that would make solving this situation impossible, and Kylie never did anything she didn't want to without a fight.

Hoping to make time, Kylie first headed to Giselle's house on the outskirts like before, and then further into the village. If Giselle was there then Kylie would offer to have the shy siren join her and talk while they walked, Kylie simply coming out with the question and asking her. If not then she would resume her original plan of finding either Delilah or Shaela.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Well not everyone, just people important to her, and to the village, remember there's a little over two hundred people or so in the village, maybe more I'm not entirely sure exactly. And here there are about a hundred or so of us alraune here in our camp. But I do hope you solve the issues between the two of you, because I thought you made a good couple myself. Do come back Kylie," Ayane said, waving bye to her.

The little ones all giggled as they were hugged and kissed by Kylie and hugged her back and each of them gave her a kiss. They all looked a little sad that she was leaving them, but they didn't try and stop her from doing so. The little injured green alraune stirred again when Kylie cooed over her, but again she still didn't wake up and continued sleeping on.

Leaving the alraune camp, Kylie would find be able to quickly find her way back to Giselle's house, as again nothing hampered her jog through the jungle her daggers unneeded this time around. When she made her way back to Giselle's house she wouldn't find the siren there, and the place was pretty much the same as she'd left it when getting her things earlier to head to the alraune camp, the only difference being that her things weren't where they had been earlier.

Heading further into the village, Kylie didn't see much out of the ordinary, save that a couple of the market stalls had closed shop early for some reason or another, but that didn't matter at the moment, as she needed to find Delilah, Shaela, or someone that could talk to her about the situation at hand. Heading to Shaela's and Ilyana's house didn't provide any answers either, as the place was locked up tight and nobody at home as far as she could see, and she didn't know where to look for Delilah at right now to find her and speak with her about it. If she looked up she would see some birds flying over as well as three or four different shapes that looked much too big to be simple birds, and upon looking closer at them, she would see that they were succubi. From there it was hard to tell if any of them were Hazel or not, but then again Kylie may or may not care about that.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

And the search continued. Checking all of the usual haunts, Kylie found a grand total of nothing, and that left only a few places to try, or a few other options. What bothered her were the flying shapes seen above her and of course her thoughts about Hazel had to be quashed almost immediately before she made more of a problem out of something that didn't need that kind of reaction right now. She had the notes for the jobs, which meant that it was unlikely that Giselle was out and about doing those, and no one appeared to be home either. That left two options.

The first of course was a systematic search of the entire village and the surrounding village which would only make her mood worse and put her in the wrong mindset. The other was to check the only other place she remembered seeing Delilah, and that was the small island in the river where they had first meant, and she knew that that segment of the jungle wasn't the safest to travel.

Sighing loudly and cursing, Kylie decided that there was the next place to logically check. She saw that daylight was starting to fade between the mass orgy, the job, her time with the Alraune, and any amount of time she had spent unconscious between the latter two and that had soaked up a great deal of her time.

Sweating now with exertion at having been jogging all day, Kylie only pushed herself harder, running back to her original meeting place of Delilah, towards the shore through the jungle, along the river's bank.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

With only two real options left to her, Kylie started on her way to Delilah's little island, passing through the gate to town she'd entered when her and the siren came in. The guards there told her that it was near dark so not to take very long outside of the village, as they couldn't guarantee any sort of search for her until morning if anything happened to her. Looking up to the sky, she'd see that she had a bit of sunlight left, maybe two hours or so enough to see with, which would give her just enough time to get to Delilah's little island before nightfall, and maybe get back, it was hard to tell exactly. It would all really depend on if she managed to make it to where she'd met Delilah the day before.

Running through the jungle, Kylie was amazingly yet again met with no resistance and she also noticed some of the shapes still in the air indicating succubi still flying about their business, mostly above and around the village though and nowhere near her current position. After nearly an hour or so, Kylie made it back to where she'd met Delilah. After wading through the water to the island, it seemed as if Delilah wasn't there at the moment, though Kylie could see some of her things sitting there, a couple of sets of clothing, what looked to be a small chest that she'd not seen the first time she was there. Upon closer inspection Kylie would see a note attached to the chest, which read, "To anyone that reads this note, I'm not here at the moment, I went to do something very important and I do not know when I'll be back. If you need me look back in the village, as there's a very good chance I'll be moving there again for the same reasons as last time."

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Well... Shit." Kylie said in a slightly annoyed manner. Everyone was missing and she needed information and here was a note! A useless ass note that said... Go back of all things. Now right pissed off and wondering why she bothered, Kylie looked out across the darkening landscape and decided not to press her luck in the jungle, wanting more answers about herself then this headache of a situation, as well as a more balanced workout for the day. Jogging was all well and good, but real strength came from fighting, and swimming...

Swearing loudly in an incredibly annoyed manner now, Kylie wandered back to the beach, and without a second fucking thought on the matter, immediately started swimming out to sea, only taking her daggers and tossing all of her clothing away save her shirt. The silk shirt covering her chest, would keep her core temperature warm in the fading heat and progressively coolness of the ocean water as she made her way to the wreckage of the sunken ship 'CoralSeeker' knowing that this was where their had to be some further clue about her fragmented past.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Annoyed as hell about not finding Delilah and swearing a few times in the process, Kylie went out to the shipwreck of the ship she'd remembered being on and assassinating the captain of. Making her way out to the shipwreck, Kylie found that the majority of it was still above the surface. As soon as she clambered up to the deck though from the side where a part of the reef was sticking out of the surface, Kylie found the deck was in shambles, some of the cannons and ballistae that were there were overturned and such, their ammunition scattered all around the deck. Straight back from the bow of the ship and under where the ship was steered from, Kylie would see a door which likely led to the captain's quarters, and she also saw the steps leading down below decks. There were a couple of dead bodies laying on the deck, crushed under a cannon, and there was also another dead body crushed under the mast as it tipped over and fell on top of whoever it was.

There was what appeared to be a longsword attached to the belt of the one crushed under the ship's main mast, undamaged by the fall as the mast had fell a little to the right and left the weapon unscathed. If memory served her correctly, there was an armory below decks somewhere if she wished to search it out, though where down there she didn't know exactly.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Collecting the sword and belt, Kylie found they were both undamaged, the sight of a corpse not bothering her in the slightest, especially if it was in some way her doing, and strapping the weapon across her chest and shoulder, letting her draw from left to right. Satisfied with the additional weapon, Kylie headed for the captains quarters first, wanting to know why she had killed this man, if there had been a reason. And there must have been seeing as she had scuttled the ship apparently after doing so and that meant this job probably hadn't been for coin.

As she approached the door however, she started to hear mumblings of a conversation back in her mind, and a face, but she couldn't make out the words or recognize it properly. She knew there was a clue on this ship, that something here was important and would hopefully trigger her memory, to kickstart it again and get her a little closer to whole again, now it was just a matter of finding it.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Taking the sword and belt from under the ship's mast, Kylie checked it over and noticed a couple of little notches in the sword, but nothing that she couldn't fix, or at least have fixed by the blacksmith in the village. After strapping the belt around her chest and fixing the sword over her shoulder, Kylie headed on for the captain's quarters, wanting to know what her reasons were for killing this man, as she still couldn't remember. Moving closer to the door, there was a slight pause from the assassin girl, a blurred face popping up in her head that she couldn't make out at all, and there were words she heard as well, though it was like they were from too far away to understand them properly.

Opening the door to the captain's quarters, Kylie went inside and to her amazement she found the room pretty much unscathed considering the wreck and all, most of the papers were knocked off of the desk that was inside, the chair also at the desk was overturned, and the bed looked as if it hadn't been made up before the wreck. As she approached the desk to look inside of the drawers, she suddenly heard a thud behind her. Spinning around with lightning fast reflexes, Kylie found herself face to face with what appeared to be blob of ocean blue colored slime, a rather large one at that. The thing was moving towards her and was simply too big for her to slip by to get out of the door, and it also looked almost like it was expanding some, though it was hard to tell.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie had found the captain's quarters to be untouched by the wreckage, surprising in some respects and suspected in others. She knew her arrow had slain the man instantly, and that meant that he wasn't around to try and collect his personal effects, or cover anything up, which is what Kylie was thinking as she let her eyes roam over the scattered papers and the desk. Here she would hopefully find a cl....Slime. "Son of a bitch." she muttered as she saw the trouble she had avoided in the jungle, out here in the ocean. What a pain in the ass.

Kylie knew a few things about slimes, but more importantly she had an analytical mind when it came to combat, and her gaze sized up her target, it's weaknesses, and it's strengths fairly quickly, it was what she had been trained to do after all...

Drawing the sword quickly, and pulling a dagger to hold in her other hand, Kylie took a stance that surprised her a little, with both weapons held symmetrically in a wide arc around her, her legs spread at shoulder width. Yea, her body remembered her old craft even if her mind didn't. Grinning for a moment, Kylie slid around rather then took full steps, knowing she didn't want to lose her footing here, and it was with that in mind that she spun her body to bring the heavier blade to bare in a crossed slash, her new sword coming around her body in a shining arc that whistled in the air.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie - 3 vs 11 Gs, miss
Giant slime - 8 vs 3 Kylie, hit

Kylie - 16 vs 20 Gs, miss
Giant slime - 18 vs 10 Kylie, hit

Kylie's instinctively taken fighting stance and choice of weaponry was apparently not good enough, or she'd misjudged her foe one of the two, as when she swung her sword the first time the slime merely moved back and caused her to miss. Then it swung a slimy tentacle out at her, catching her in the side and knocking her to against the desk.

When she regained her footing and got back into her fighting stance, the thing was nearly on top of her, so whether in a panic or what she swung her sword again in the same way as the first time, which ended up missing again as the slime blob this time formed another tendril of slime and batted her sword down as if it were nothing. The slime then hit her again, this time across the stomach with its slimy tentacle, which sent her flying across the room where she landed on the soft bed, which thankfully broke her fall.

Kylie - FP: 3/5, AP: 0/10
Giant slime - FP: 6/6

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Well the Slime was either tougher then normal, and unusually cruel judging from the way it was pounding on her, or she wasn't fighting properly because her mind was still focused on Giselle, either way the fight wasn't going well. But the slime had followed her to press it's attack when it had thrown her back into the room, which meant the door was now open, and she KNEW she was faster then it was by a mile, and which weapon was really best suited for this task, her insane bow...

Taking a short step left, throwing the sword at the creature as a distraction, Kylie literally ran up the side of the wall and leapt, hitting the ground and rolling for the door even as the dagger in her off hand twisted and slashed at any attempt to grab her as the roll turned into a one handed back hand spring before that blade was snapped back into it's sheath and her bow slid into her hand.

Granted most of her arrows had slipped from her quiver when she had made this move, but she still had plenty and it was as she continued moving to create more distance that she knocked one, turned, and fired the impressive weapon at the creature, trusting on ballistic shock alone to disturb it's body.

Reaching back however, Kylie remembered she had left her bow back on shore, so Fuck, that option was out which meant she had to find another way, finding the door that led below deck, Kylie made a run for it, hoping to find the armoury, and a better option

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie - escape attempt success and also dealt 1 FP dmg damage

Kylie took a breath before throwing her sword at the thing, which did cause the thing to focus on it instead of her, then she did her maneuver across the wall, the slime sending a slimy tentacle at her which was just barely batted down by her dagger before it grabbed her and pulled her right into its mass. It had been a very risky move, as she had to go right over the slime, but she'd been successful thankfully. However several of her normal arrows fell out of her quiver, scattering across the floor and leaving her with about half of a full quiver, so about 20 arrows or so.

Once she was outside of the room after practically rolling through the doorway, Kylie reached back to grab her bow only to find it wasn't there any longer, as she'd left it on the shore with most of her other things unfortunately. Then she noticed the creature oozing out through the door that led to the captain's quarters, and she made a split second decision to run straight down the steps leading below decks, searching for the armory that she remembered being down there somewhere.

Kylie - escape roll passed

Rushing past the thing as it came out of the room they'd both been in, Kylie had to jump into the air and roll to avoid being grabbed in her move towards the steps, which unfortunately caused her to slip a little and tumble down the steps. She made it down to a step or so from the bottom before she hit water, and once she'd righted herself and gotten back to her feet, Kylie would notice the entire below decks area she was in at the moment was filled with a bit of water that came up to about the bottoms of her shins. Down here there was a hallway that lead in two directions from where she was, left and right. Down the right path there seemed to be a couple of rooms, one on the left and one at the very end of the hall. Down the left way there was yet another set of steps leading down at the end of that way, with another pair of doors on either side of the hallway. The room on the left down the left path was shut, while all the rest were open. Glancing back up, Kylie would see that the large slime seemed to be looking for her and was sending a few feeler slimy tentacles down after her, she had to make a decision fast or it would find her, apparently not able to see her very well in the darkened below decks of the ship, though there was enough light pouring in that Kylie could see enough.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Well, everything seemed to have worked, and in her idiotic anger, Kylie had brought arrows, but no bow. Of course, just genius, and of course she wasn't wearing anything below her waist in an area where that particular area was the target of most things. That was real bright. Smacking herself in the forehead with the palm of her hand after she righted herself, Kylie saw creepers of slime extending down the stairs after her, the damned thing was still chasing her, Great...

Taking a quick look around, Kylie only saw 2 real options, and one was particularly shitty, but likely to get her away from the oozing rape machine that seemed rather insistent on beating her into submission first. Turning left, Kylie made her way quickly for the stairs leading lower, and deeper into the water that had seeped into the ship, sighing before taking a deep breath and continuing her search. Life sucked.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

With the slime tendrils following her down the steps, Kylie quickly chose to flee down the steps to the lower levels of the ship, which were almost completely underwater by the looks of it. Moving down the corridor, Kylie got to the steps just as the slimy tendrils made it to the bottom of the other steps she was just at moments before, which began to fan out down both directions of the corridor, a few towards her and a few down the other direction. Taking a deep breath, she plunged down under the surface of the water and started down the other steps into the third deck, pushing herself along with the railing to move quicker.

Moving down the steps a little bit, she would look back up and see the tendrils stopping at the surface of the water, where they gingerly touched it and pulled back out, apparently not liking the feel of the water at all, however the tendrils didn't leave just yet and prevented Kylie from coming back up for air. Fortunately though for Kylie she saw a few pockets of space in this deck that were open where she could surface and take a few breaths before going back down. On this deck it seemed to be a larger room with a door at either end of it, with the floor being walkable on heading to the left of where she'd come down the steps, which was likely the bow of the ship, with it looking like she'd be able to walk in about knee deep water going that way, heading the other way though would mean staying underwater for a bit longer. She could also see a piece of the reef the ship had hit sticking up through the floor of the deck, which was obviously where the water had come in from that sunk the ship.

On the third deck she also saw a few dead bodies, some drowned, some crushed by rolling cannons and ballistae, or the ammunition for said weapons, with one poor soul having been impaled right through the asshole by a ballistae bolt and pretty much nailed to the wall by it, likely having died a very painful death as he drowned. The door heading to the right underwater was open while the other door that was still mostly above water was closed, though it was darker down here and all that, however there was a small bit of light pouring through a window or hole that was in the underwater room and she could see something glinting inside, that seemed to be metal of some sort, though what kind was too hard to tell unless she went inside.
