Nodding as she took the map, Mino retrieved her spear and left the cabin after finishing her food, she looked at the map, determined her location and started following the route mapped out, now instead of being cautious and scared at twigs snapping, Mino was looking around and mantaining her guard without being cautious or easily scared as she trekked along.

She felt like a new woman, as everyone wished Mino the best of luck and she struck out towards her now clear goal with a strong heart and a stronger resolve. She hadn't chosen the safety her old home had heralded, but the strange new world that had given birth to her new strength through trial by fire, no longer cowering in fear at the slightest hint of a threat, but walking tall and proud, her weapon held with new confidence. It was maybe an hour into the trek that Mino hit a small stream, everything seeming peaceful. The map showed she was about halfway there and making good time as the sun started to hit high noon, the shadows shortening minute by minute and the cool water looking inviting under the oppressive heat that seemed to settle in. It was unnaturally warm today...

Mino was about halfway to her destination, she stopped at a stream to sit against a tree and rest for a bit, remaining in the shade due to the almost unnatural warmth, she figured she would be able to tank it if she stuck to shady areas like under trees, after resting she would continue on, sticking to the shade this time around.
