Re: Atlantis

Sarnael's own snort responded to Jacob's. "You don't know the half of it."

Re: Atlantis

To that Jacobs just looked at him.

"I'm not sure that I want to know then. Oh, have you seen Cassie by the way?"

Re: Atlantis

Sarnael shrugged. "Last I knew she was somewhere around here fiddling with controls."

Re: Atlantis

Jacobs looked around, shaking his head.

"Hmm, well she's not out here any more. Probably in the archive room then, she made reference earlier to wanting to check into a possible connection to the Antarctic facility on Earth. One thing I do want to know, just how long have you know Siphon for? From what I've been hearing, he's a hell of a lot older than we first thought, you seem to know him pretty well, any truth to that?"

Re: Atlantis

Sarnael snorted. "Let me put it this way... I recall meeting him and Aya shortly after their wedding, before that little spat that resulted in the split between the Ancients and the Ori."

Re: Atlantis

Jacobs blinked slightly.

"Well, that confirms that story then. Shit, and up until he met Aya here he had no memory of it. You think the others stripped him of that past life for some reason?"

Re: Atlantis

Jacobs shrugged to that.

"I wonder what in the hell he did to warrant something like that? I mean shit, did he try to erase the Klarnell or something from the universe? Oh, speaking of which, I almost forgot to mention this to you. Those anomalies? Talok has been taking a look at the ones that have popped up lately now that we have something to work with. He's pinpointed a few more that have naturally opened, seemingly without interference from the Ancients. He can't be sure, but he thinks they're opening in oddly short intervals. It's also not just here or the Milky Way, we've gotten reports of them opening up now in the Triangulum Galaxy as well as the Ori Galaxy. Count that with the one the Klarnell opened up in the Asgard Galaxy, and that's a span of 5 Galaxies crossing a very large distance of space. Talok seemed to think you might want to know about that after he heard that apparently you and Siphon go way back from Aya."

Re: Atlantis

Sarnael himself shrugged at Jacobs' news about the anomalies. "Given that there's a high chance that the Klarnell themselves aren't actually the source of the anomalies, I can't say I'm surprised to hear that. There's quite a few possible factors in the how and why for those things."

Re: Atlantis

Jacobs nodded.

"I'd have to agree, if they had complete control I doubt they'd be choosing now to attack, they'd have done so before the Ancients ascended. I have to admit, I am somewhat surprised at the distinct lack of any real data on the anomalies themselves in the database here. It doesn't look like they made it much of a priority to analyze the anomalies themselves, which I think was a tactical error."

Re: Atlantis

Some time later, the Stargate suddenly came to life, with Henry and Lyra stepping out.

Stepping towards Sarnael, she spoke with a tone in her voice he would not be accustomed to hearing from a Nox.

"Sarnael, we must speak, it is urgent. I believe I may know how these Klarnell came to be, and we may have had an unknowing hand in their creation."

Re: Atlantis

Even before Lyra began speaking, Sarnael commented, "Yes, I'm well aware that my late brother's little fuck up wasn't as cleaned up as we thought."

Re: Atlantis

Lyra paused for a moment, then nodded.

"I see. Were you aware that our DNA was used in their creation as well? Or that he was going around claiming to be you during that time frame?"

"I was almost certain on the first point. Second one doesn't surprise me in the least. He was a... well, calling him a total ass is being diplomatic about it."

Re: Atlantis

Sho's joined Henry and Lyra on the trip through the gate, as planned. Once they're in the city, her instincts are to start looking around again. Despite the conversation, she give the Tokra a nudge. "We should go find Cassie asap." She gives him a little nudge. "Can use you wanting to say hello as an excuse."

Re: Atlantis

Smiling ever so crookedly, Henry replied to Sho, "I don't think I'll need much in the way of an excuse."

Clearly the host speaking and not the symbiote, for no Tokra would have ever had the slightest grin on their face in a time like this. Heading off, they found Cassie literally combing through the library in the holo-room, unaware of them for the moment.

Lyra slowly nodded to Sarnael, a flash of emotion crossing her face, which was very unusual for a Nox.

"There is much more to discuss then. Perhaps a transfer using the Lobal device would be better then? Normally I wouldn't suggest using such a mind to mind transfer device with anyone not of Nox descent, but as I recall your mind is capable of handling that, and truth be told, I fear we have very little time before the next large attack."

Re: Atlantis

Sho's not one to judge, nor does she call him out on it, finding the reaction to be a little heart-warming. "Allright, let's see where she is."

Once they reach the holo-room, she'll watch Cassie for a moment, giving her a chance to possibly notice them. When it becomes clear she won't, there's the slight clearing of her throat. "Care package delivery from Atlantis," she announces.

Re: Atlantis

Looking up, Cassie smiled warmly at Sho, and then her eyes lit up at the sight of Henry. There was no doubt she returned his affections, that was clear. As they approached though, she spoke, but it was a bit shaken.

"So, I've been doing some digging in the database, and I found something that ... well, changes everything I thought I knew. Here, let me show you."

Activating the device, she displayed a person who looked exactly like her, with a bunch of ancient words under it. There were two other people present in the background, but time seemed to have distorted the image to the point where one could not recognize who they may have been. One look at the words though and Henry let out a low grunt, and when he spoke, it was with the voice of his symbiote.

"These words ... they partially confirm Siphon's theory, but in a way none of us could have imagined. I'm not sure you want to hear this Sho."

Re: Atlantis

"Haven't you been the busy little bee." Sho gives Cassie a light nudge in the arm with a shoulder. "Whatever it is, we'll deal with it. It's what we do, right? No worries." She brings a hand up and gives the same shoulder she nudged a squeeze. At the symbiote's words, she lets out a snort. "Oh please, Kla-Tahl. I have given up being shocked over anything, especially when it comes to Siphon. What is it?"

Re: Atlantis

Raising an eyebrow slightly, the symbiote replied "that is Cassie in the picture. What's more, according to this, she's Aya's mother."

And as if that wasn't shocking enough, Cassie turned to Sho and added, "I don't have any memory of that, but I do have memory of something else, it's only just starting to come back in bits and pieces. When you found me on the planet, I was left there to be a trap for you, to kill whoever showed up. Nirrti was attempting to access the knowledge in my mind, knowledge from my time as an ascended being."
