Is anybody aware of a means to dispose of extra girls? I too fell foul of trying to have one of every rank (in hind site pointless) but as a result I can't capture the girls I'm missing.

Am I just over looking an option or did I in face screw myself over and thus need to start over for the CG collection?

Yes, when you select them, the top left corner of their description has a clickable test. Clicking on it you will be asked if you want discard her (first option) or keep (second option).

And, as said, yes, it's pointless to have them in any stage: better to stick with capturing the "base" ones and levelling them. Once they level you can bring them to the inn to have the CG scene.

Edit: Ok with that in mind, heres a save with one of each monster captured. The kappa is rank 3, the Harpy and Lamia are rank 2. Everything elce is rank 1. Save 9 is the one you want but I threw in the whole saves folder incase any of the other files are for the gallery.

Edit 2: Oh an after thought, for some reason the save files were not in the game folder but in my documents, figured it worth noting in case anyone who wants the save didn't realise should this not just be my system being odd.

when the game starts (after the annoying girl voice ends) the game freezes and later unfreezes after what im guessing is me losing, anyone else have this issue

so no one has had this issue?

Is there a way to "release" some of the girls.
I captured the Kappa girl and leveled her up but I also captured the one at Kappa stage 2 and I don't want her anymore.
So yea is there a way to release any of them?

EDIT: OH! As soon as I posted I found it. There's a button on the top left of their portraits that lets you release them. Heh.

Had this problem too, at least with the downloads that were all in one piece, the 3 part mediafire download would just screw up while extracting.
To be more in depth, you can do anything else in the game until you go into the one star area. After the tutorial telling you how to play, the screen just freezes up with no music. After what I guess is time running out, I get the standard game over CG. I've tried using compatibility settings for 2000, XP, and Vista (running windows 7) but I get the same issue with each one. I even tracked down a download from another website and still had the issue. I'm using japanese unicode already and running it in the same. Tried downloading from two of the links on the front page, problem still there. It's gotta be some compatibility issue with my computer...
So, I have no clue how to actually play this game. If nobody can think of anything, I'll just download a save to get the CGs.

My extraction told me that it needed the 3rd file to complete, and even though it was selected in the menu automatically, for some reason it wouldn't work until I manually browsed and found the 3rd file in my downloads like it couldn't locate it. Afterwards it worked fine, not even using normal Jap settings (But I do use Applocale). I don't think my game would open properly at that point as well until I fixed that.

Could that be the problem?

No, I can get the game extracted properly with the downloads that aren't in parts and the game opened. Running normally to until that part after the tutorial. Might have something to do with the game-play parts or something because that's the only spot where it fails and freezes.

I downloaded the version uploaded to freakshare and didn't have any problems. The game uses a super common engine so I have to think it's more likely that you guys downloaded a bad copy than there's a bug/incompatibility with the game itself.

The owner of the inn will give it to you at some point of the game, but it seems more a random event than a behaviour triggered by some condition.

The Monster Capture Rate Swords (20%(Unconfirmed) and 30%(Confirmed)) as well as the Exp Sword are all obtained from randomly completing levels a certain way, probably by clear time or just clearing them at all. I had most of them by the time I had the 6 star places unlocked. It was easier to notice since I didn't buy any other swords but the +Damage and accuracy one for a long time.

Just check the city once in a while and eventually you'll get dialog from one of the npcs (There's also a smexy scene with the inn girl) I also tried every option in the first area with the guy there to see what it did, so you may want to do that. It could have absolutely nothing to do with it but it couldn't hurt. He probably tells you about the girls, just a guess, so it'd make sense if true that the monster capture swords might be triggered from dialog with him.

I never got the 20% capture rate sword, I even went back through all the levels and cleared them as fast as is probably possible using the damage sword and Kitsune level 3 power, so I'm not sure what causes that one to appear. It could be doing a certain level enough times or something. I captured most my girls on the first try so I didn't hang around the lower areas long.


P.S: What an addictive game, it was great. I'd love a sequel. Even though is was pretty hard and repetitive, I'm sad I don't have anything left to do in it.

for this price I'm inclined to believe that it is not a standalone add-on... or else we have a new definition of discounted.

Pity that it is impossible for me to buy on japanese DLSite...
