Few questions.
1. When you break into the mayor's house in the first town and get the mirror, what's it used for?
2. If you get caught during the break-in you get a cut-scene in which the heroine signs, I guess, some contract. What is it and what are the consequences of getting caught?
3. Around the island there are a couple of caves with respawning bats inside of them, what's the deal with that?

1. The mirror is used for discovering secret paths around the forest, something that a certain little boy can discover for you if you choose not to use the mirror
2. This leads to you being a slave for someone and leads you into a possibility of two separate endings
3. To make the game harder? In all honesty I don't know but it's not like you can't avoid them if you choose not to fight them

The bats are just there as an easy way to lose HP at a high level. They ignore defense.

No, very few scripts that work with VX will work with Ace.
They changed a lot of the class hierarchies.

I'd say the only thing that's similar is their internal structures; nothing else.

Been sick the last few days so I haven't done much work on this but what I did do is migrate all the currently translated stuff over to the most current version (1.23). I'm also trying to find where the NPC names are stored in the scripts, so if anyone can help me out with that, I'd be grateful. And, not to sound like a broken record, a decent guide for the virgin route would be incredibly useful.

What's translated:
- The databases (item names, enemy names, and skills)
- A lot of the menus and in-battle messages (not all of them, though)
- The entire intro.
- The old man groping you.
- The guy on the beach and his sex scenes with the first two women.
- First shower scene.
- Getting the map off the little girl.
- Getting the emergency charm from the hospital's receptionist.
- First conversation with the black smith.
- A couple of random NPCs.

Jokes aside, if you just require a guide to get yourself through some parts of the game, I don't mind typing up a detailed guide for those parts. But I guess I am not as saintful as other members in this forum and etigoya to type up THE WHOLE GAME if you know what I mean, especially since etigoya had already done one.

I am assuming you'd finished the game before? If you didn't finish it in virgin route, the virgin route should be as simple as finishing it the same way you did except staying a virgin?

I didn't get the virgin ending. I basically just ran through the game, exploring everywhere and talking to everyone, which is what I want to avoid now. I want to hit all the critical story events, the ones absolutely needed to advance the plot, so that I can translate them fast and then spread out from there. Plus, it'd allow people to play through at least the main story.

Nice job on the translations so far. It's my own fault for not knowing Japanese or how to use those translators with atlas.

It makes the game better when you have some idea of what's going on.

I didn't get the virgin ending. I basically just ran through the game, exploring everywhere and talking to everyone, which is what I want to avoid now. I want to hit all the critical story events, the ones absolutely needed to advance the plot, so that I can translate them fast and then spread out from there.

You don't need to do a lot to get the virgin ending, if you grind a lot or you are playing from a completed save (meaning you retained all the previous levels and parameters and items), there's probably less than 10 main necessary steps you need to take to get to the ending, and this is as dirty a guide as it gets:

1. head straight to the town in the mountain (and on the way pick up a rope just so you don't have to buy one later), and talk to the main girl inside NE house (talk to her twice just for reassurance, pick either choice if prompted), now talk to the father inside the house just south of it (actually approach him and talk to him after the scene), rest up in the inn

2. head to NE house and talk to the same girl again, after being led to the forest to the south and defeat the plant monster at the very end of the map (should look a bit different to the other monsters), return to town afterward and talk to girl in NE house again and pick first option

Pick either 3-a route or 3-b route

3-a. (little boy route) pick up the axe/pick in the hotbath cave just north of the south entrance, buy some phoenix feather items if you haven't picked up any and talk to the boy twice to make him follow you into the forest

3-b1. (harry (glasses hentai man) route) pick up the axe/pick in the hotbath cave and talk to old lady in the NW entrance to mountain town (you might not have to do this, I haven't tried not talking to her yet) proceed to win 3 battles in the arena colosseum and a girl will approach you, talk to her and she will tell you to stay away from the glasses hentai man who has now appeared to the right of the arena, talk to him twice and he will take you back to his place, now you should know where all the hidden switches are

3-b2. go to police station prison and rescue eyepatch man, and then go outside to talk to eyepatch man who is now at the north of the mountain entrance of port town, choose first option whenever prompted (just for the sake of it), and proceed to attain the mirror, but make sure you turn all the switches off first

4. (for those who find their level is not high enough to challenge moon tower, head to the sun tower first and attain the sun item first, and I trust we all know how to get to the sun tower) returning to the forest to the south of mountain town, head east to break the boulder and continue finding your way toward the moon tower, if you have the kid with you, just before the forest entry to moon tower you might want him to lead you just south of it so we can remember there's a path there (if you don't enter that path, the path won't be remembered after the kid leaves you), proceed to attain the moon item, you don't need to use the train carriage system if you see one
#because we skipped the event where we obtain the fire-spell magic book, you will need to defeat 4 enemies in each tower (8 altogether) to get 8 matches to light the fire thing

5. go to the ruin town, and inside the ruin, you will find places to put in sun and moon orb, proceed further down the ruin you will find a room with 8 mini-rooms, the 3rd one from the right of the bottom row contains the missing pieces of the goddess crest or whatever

6. return to that path just below the moon tower, entering a larva cave (this is where the rope is used), proceed to the end of it and you will enter the secret hideout of the cult, to the right there will be the secret masked man and depending on if you've fought him before or not, you will either have to fight him now or listen to him talk about his life story, either way you will end up with a key to further proceed into the cult hideout, use the goddess orb before the fight and you will reach END1, don't use the orb and you will get END3 (have fun winning this battle without G-ball though).

The above is the NECESSARY steps needed to get virgin ending. You don't need to do anything else to get the ending.

If you need more clarification in some parts because this is probably even harder to understand than etigoya's guide, I am happy to provide more information, but by then you'd probably prefer someone else's guidance

Plus, it'd allow people to play through at least the main story.

But the virgin route has 0 sex content, I am sure at least 50% of the people here are playing it just for the sex

I thought there'd be a lot more for the critical story stuff. Is there really no one in the first town you have to talk to at first? Anyone that even gives you information on where to go? I was hoping it'd be a logical chain of events.

Also, I forgot to copy over a translated event from the intro into the new version. I fixed it and re-uploaded it and edited it into my last post. I'll also post it here.

If you choose to be "logical", you'd probably go to the hospital first to pick up the "return free to hospital pass", so that everytime you die you get rescued back at hospital for a small fee. You can choose to skip this if you enjoy the usual game-over-back-to-last-save-point style of playing.

If you need sword fixing, obviously talk to swordsmith, clothes fixing is next door. And the girl next to fortunetelling crystal woman gives you a map, and fortunetelling crystal woman tells you where your next destination "should be". But there's no-one else in the first town that even gives you the slightest hint of heading toward the mountain town or here or there. Which is why I guess the author included the fortunetelling crystal woman in there.

Ah, good, I already translated the little girl giving you the map and getting the emergency charm from the hospital as well as the first black smith conversation. I guess I'll take a look at the fortune teller to she if she's worth translating for the main story.

sorry it took so long. it's technically still not finished, but i think this should be some help to some people just starting to play with the game. i also included a save file with the main heroine just passed the prologue but already lvl 50 with 16k gold to breeze through the game. i'll update it as soon as i get some more time on my comp. for now, use my hlist guide to hunt for the hscenes once you reach free roam

it should be safe, but as always, just do a virus check before you open. any corrections, feel free to pm me

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how you activate one of the mercenaries from trying to molest her? I've seen that they could grope her or try to insert, but I've never gotten them to do either. what's the requirements?

I feel like a complete noob asking this, because I am pretty sure I missed something obvious. After I apply the translation (copy everything into the Virgin Island 1.23 directory) all the translated text shows as little boxes instead of english.

No, that was my fault. Open up the 'Game.ini' file in the game folder and change RGSS202E.dll to RGSS202J.dll and that should fix it.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how you activate one of the mercenaries from trying to molest her? I've seen that they could grope her or try to insert, but I've never gotten them to do either. what's the requirements?

Go into moon tower and fight a succubus with the Mercenary in tow. She's a yellow eyed enemy on almost every floor yet never does anything naughty when you are alone. With a Merc, she'll charm it making it an enemy (for that fight only, you get them back) and they can molest/rape you like normal enemies- Armor guy can take virginity. I never tried if she can make the chic mercenary from mt town hostile, but she doesn't have an unique rape cutout in the gallery.
