Haruka left the room after nodding to Karrie and shortly after that she indeed came back, bearing not one but three books for Karrie to choose from to read. "Here you are my mate. I'm not much of a reader myself, that's Shizune's strong point rather than strength... she's the brains, I'm the muscle," Haruka said, giving Karrie a little more info about her mates. Haruka then leaned down and kissed Karrie on top of the head after setting the three books down on the bedside table before heading on to do things while Karrie recovered more from the birthing.

When Karrie looked at the books, she'd see they were all in her language. The title of the first book was, 'Shifters, the history of the tribes', the title of the second book was, 'The Demonomicon', and the title of the third book was simply, 'The two lovers'.

Nodding and smiling, Karrie was given some options on what books to read, seeing herself fighting some demons in the future, she decided to have a read of the demonomicon first, opening it up and going through each and every page.

While Karrie read the book she'd chosen, she found several quite well drawn pictures of many different demons, and each of them had an entry which told of what the demons were and their weaknesses, and how best to approach them if one must. Reading the whole book took several hours, but as Karrie really had nothing better to do, she stayed there and read, stopping every little bit to check on Ami in her crib before going back to it.

After she was finally through with the book, Karrie would see Haruka coming in again, bearing a plate of food and coming over to her. "Lunchtime my mate, com put the book down and eat, then get up and stretch some. It won't do if you end up all sore from not stretching," Haruka said, setting the plate down on Karrie's bedside table before reaching down into the crib and picking Ami up and loving on her, sitting down with Karrie while she ate and giving Karrie the opportunity to ask any questions she had on her mind.

Karrie ended up pouring over the entirety of the book over a course of a few hours, occasionally pausing to check on Ami, after a few hours of reading Haruka came in with their lunch, feeling a lot more knowledable on what are demons now, Karrie set the book down and set to work eating, having no other questions to ask at this time.

While Karrie ate, Haruka held Ami, who cooed and giggled while Haruka played with her, looking as happy as Ami sounded. It wouldn't take too long for Karrie to finish eating the delicious food, with Haruka kissing Ami on her little forehead and then leaning over to do the same to Karrie. After that Haruka would set Ami back into her crib before leaving her once again, saying she had to patrol outside their sanctuary to ensure nothing came and attacked, telling Karrie she loved her before going.

Now that Karrie was left pretty much alone again, she still had two books to read, of course there was no telling what she might find in either one. But from the looks of their sizes she would only be able to get one of the two of them read before bedtime.

The two ate for a bit, after this Haruka said she needed to go out and patrol around the hideout itself, leaving Karrie with a bit more reading time, thinking, she decided to read the Two lovers book, curious about its simple title and what it would be about.

After Haruka was gone, Karrie took up the book titled, 'The two lovers' and began reading it. As she started reading it, Karrie soon found it was simply a story like book, though it had a very good story at least. It was a story of a pair of young lovers separated before they could marry, and both going through great hardships to get back together again. When she was finally done, Karrie saw the clock on the wall said it was 8:00 pm, telling her it was quite late now. Shana had gotten up an hour before that with her's and Hikari's child where she'd gone out saying she was going to the den.

A couple of minutes after getting finished, Shizune came into the room and told Karrie that dinner was ready, and that they were wondering if she could manage to get up, and that they had a place for her to set Ami in there while they ate.

I had three choices with those books and only two would give bonuses of sorts. That one you just picked wasn't one of those.

Karrie got a simple story, so nothing fancy or horrible, finishing the story she realised it was already time for dinner, time always did go a bit faster for Karrie, nodding, Karrie picked up Ami and followed Shizune to the dining room.

"Ah Karrie my mate, how are you? Hungry I hope, because we've got a feast," Haruka called out to Karrie as she and Shizune came in, with Karrie carrying Ami. Haruka was carrying a couple of large plates that had what looked to be steaks of some sort over to the large dining table they had, where she then set it down and came over to Karrie and Ami, hugging them both and kissing them on the cheeks.

After that, they all had a delicious dinner, with quite a few different foods. Karrie would see Shana and Sylvia both sitting next to each other chatting away, all of the six that had ambushed them a couple of days before, Vanessa sitting with her two mates that she'd kind of been claimed by, as well as the dark elf that had been sleeping next to her when she woke. The dark elf looked a little... not so much unhappy with where she was, but more confused more than anything as she picked at her food. Haruka glanced over at her while sitting next to Karrie, then gently poked Karrie to get her attention.

"Karrie my mate, see if you can find out what's troubling her, she's been like that since we found her. She didn't really even put up a fight when Shizune and I found her, and simply allowed us to take her. Then she barely even moved when we had sex with her, making us do all the work," Haruka whispered to Karrie quietly, gesturing over at the dark elf sitting next to Karrie.

Coming into the dining room, Karrie could see a veritable feast had been set out for them to eat, exciting her somewhat, sitting next to Haruka, the two took turns to hold Ami as they ate their dinner, looking around Karrie noticed everyone seemed relatively happy, looking at the dark elf however, she seemed confused and slightly sad, Haruka told her about how she had been acting, and Karrie nodded, whispering back "Should i check after dinner or...?"

"Well it would probably be better for her sake to do it when its just the two of you, but you can do it whenever you want," Haruka whispered to Karrie, then went back to eating her food.

A short time later, after they were done eating, Haruka nodded to Karrie to go ahead and speak with the dark elf girl now that everyone was pretty much out of the room. Haruka smiled at her as she took a stack of dishes off the table and left, leaving Karrie completely alone with the one she was supposed to talk with. The dark elf girl she would see was simply sitting there, staring down at the table where her plate had been... looking almost as if she were trying to figure out where she was and how she'd gotten there.

Nodding, Karrie also returned to eating her food, eventually everyone had finished and left the room, except for the dark elf and herself, Haruka nodded at her to tell her to make her move now, nodding, Karrie waited till Haruka left and she walked over to the dark elf saying "Hi there." and sitting beside her.

The dark elf's eyes flickered a little as Karrie started talking to her, the first real signs of life she'd shown since Karrie first seen her other than her eating earlier. However when Karrie spoke the dark elf said nothing and continued staring at the table, still looking a bit confused and like she was wondering where she was. If pressed a little further by Karrie, the dark elf would turn towards her and stare at her with sad eyes for a few tense moments.

"W-Who am I? Where... am I? Who are you?" the dark elf girl asked, looking and sounding quite distressed and like she truly didn't know who she was.

It seemed like she wasnt responding, Karrie pressed a bit saying "Are you okay...?" softly, she got a response, the dark elf seemed to have no idea who she was, or where she was, seemed like she had amnesia, Karrie tried asking "Do you know your own name...? Do you remember anything?"

"D-Do you know who I am? I don't... remember anything before yesterday... when the fox and bunny futanari brought me in here and had sex with me. And I woke up this morning with my belly all big like this, I wasn't exactly sure why until S-Shizune told me I was pregnant," the dark elf girl said, looking as if she were trying and thinking really hard to remember who she was, yet simply couldn't remember.

Thinking, Karrie sighed and said "You cant remember anything?" seeming slightly sad, she would hate to be in this situation herself, not knowing anything at all.

"N-No... well I remember some things, like how to eat and drink, read and write, simple things like that. But my name... no, where I came from... is fuzzy, like I know, yet at the same time like I don't know," the dark elf girl said, looking like she was thinking really hard to try and remember, yet was still unable to manage anything. Karrie would also see that this poor dark elf also looked very sad about this and looked near tears, but was barely holding them back.

Looking at the dark elf, Karrie nodded and said "I See....", she noticed the dark elf was barely holding back tears, sighing, Karrie gently pulled her into a hug, she wanted to say something to help her but she had no idea what to do, atleast she knew what the matter was with her now.

"I don't... I don't know what to do really. I mean I don't mind staying here, because it seems like a pretty nice place to be honest... at least better than out there in the dungeon. But I want to know who I am, and that would mean having to leave, which I'm rather scared of doing," the dark elf girl said, sniffling a little, yet still managing to hold back her tears as she hugged Karried in return, appearing thankful for the support and comfort of another.

Nodding, Karrie kept the dark elf in a caring hug, stopping to look at her and explain a bit, "Well you were caught by what is called a Shifter pack, i believe its mating season and they wanted you to help carry their young, right now we are in their home and they are looking after us very well...", she got a idea and said "Well i have a feeling me and a few friends will be out and about after we finish something here...do you want to come with us at all? And do you want a new name?" she added on to the end, to at least try and shed some clarity on the girls life.
