You can change the burned creature to something else
It's going to get attacked automaticly by one of the girls before the chosen action if that was not clear.
The burned creature was slowly trying to prepare an attack as it wobbled by towards the girls.
Viki prepared her sword and towards the thing. One slash with the sword, and it was over for the creature. Viki's sword has sliced just from the burned mark to deeper to the mid section of it, it never had a chance.
Linda figured the only way they are gonna get out of there would be to weaken the overlord. She began to take aim, though it was difficult to make a good prediction on it.
Regardless her cast flied right towards the overlord and hit on its body connecting to the eye. The overlord knocked to side a bit from the blast, but it didn't seem to hurt it too much.
But the overlord was distracted, it eye'd Linda in angry way..
Fellow took an advantage of its distraction and jumped once again towards the overlord.
With a mighty stab fellow lunged to the side of the eye with the dark blade. The blade sunk deep on the side, as fellow still hung on it. Like a lever the blade sunk downwards on the overlord.
Overlord was shrieking and slime poured down from the gaping hole fellow had caused with the dark blade..
The overlord however did not let this go unpunished as it swung violently around and tossed fellow with their sword at high speed to the roof of the hall. As the blade unconnected from the overlord, the overlord moved away as a large spike ended tentacle popped from the roof and smashed the fellow back to the ground from the room.
"uu'thn al' plin du'nar"
Overlord was no longer talking in common. The words made no sense to the girls.. But it was clear that it was hurt. That gaping hole in which cyan slime dripped by was no flesh wound.
Fellow got back up on its knees.. As the plate body dropped from underneath its robes that still hid the body.
The plate body was twisted bend, broken in spots. Guess the overall damage from Viki's brutal sneak attack and overlord devastating attack was too much for it.
Fellow seemingly looked at the trashed plate body a bit and got back up coughing a bit.
"It was slowing me down anyway"
The purple tentacles had fought against the cyan ones pretty well holding their ground well. But unfortunantly, they were still under numbered and the cyan ones had the homefield advantage here. The purple ones had taken down one of the three cyan creatures but the remaining two had easily taken them down.
The purple tentacle creatures left no corpse as they perished, they seemed to liquify into small thick puddles.
The remaining cyan ones surrounded the fellow, as it let out a sigh.
"Girls, if you help me.. I'll.. Swallow my pride. We can bargain.. I'll explain it all.. Just.. Don't let these get me.."
The creatures were completely focused on the fellow. Not gona be able to take em all on at once, that's for sure.
The door way tentacles were weakened noticeably aswell. They looked so loose you could most likely easily get past them.

Linda was bit unsure how to answer to the plea of help from someone who threatened them so heavily before. But she made a decision regardless. "So Viki, how about we take down an overlord?" "I like that idea"
Viki shed her sword and took out her crossbow. "Finally a chance to actually use this thing."
Viki started right off the bat and fired a bolt right towards the overlord.
The bolt fly through the air for a suprise, it sunk deep to near mid area of the overlords eye area.
The overlord shrieked in pain and shook itself around.
On the moment the two tentacle creatures attacked the fellow.
The first tentacle creature lunged and rushed towards it, but wasn't able to grap the fellow. However fellows attempt to retaliate didn't hit this slithering creature either. Fellows guard was down a bit as the other creature had attacked from behind, however fellow was able to barely avoid the creature, even though it grapped the robe.
"Get off you..!"
The robe slipped from its grap with a one good pull.
Overlord had pulled itself together even though it was wounded. The large mace like tentacle that had pummeled fellow earlier swung once at it.
The tentacle hit fellow right in the mid section, with no armor protection, that'd gotta have hurt! The swipe knocked fellow back heavily.
The impact, the friction, had bend the hood of the fellow back, and the helmet flew right off with no plate body to connect itself to.
Linda had her mind set on the overlord. She prepared her firebolt.
One well aimed cast.. The bolt flied right on the overlord as it exploded on the side.
The overlord was shrieking as the impact had caused the flood of slime from the bolt hold and the sword hole to flow at higher rate.
Infact the overlord was starting to seem.. Drained.
The two other tentacle creatures stopped right at where they were and turned towards the overlord.
".. Doh'vi. Y'la op. .. You only won the round..
The overlord just hanged limb right from the roof.
Its glowing of the eye part had stopped as Linda felt the magical presence of the overlord fade.
The tentacles that kept the door way closed went limb and just collapsed right down.
Pods around the hall started to pop off, as dead tentacle creatures popped out of them, and women off all sort collapsed on top of the corpses of the creatures.
Most of the women seemed to be passed out, some of them seemed to be in their own worlds or confused..
The remaining two creatures seemed to panic and began to dug deep into the meaty ground..
The meaty ground around the hall was getting more dim but it didn't go out.
From the overlord a slime covered cyan orb dropped by.. It was similar to the one girls had, but it was dim, it didn't glow the same way. Nearly dark, empty.. Viki picked it up and put it in the backpack.
"Well that was eventful." "I say.. "
Linda and Viki slowly walked towards the fellow whom was now on its knees. The face was covered in rather medium long black hair.
"Alright. We helped you out, get up now so we can sort this stuff out. No tricks."
"Tricks.. If I even wanted to, I do not have the energy nor mana to do that.."
The sound wasn't disoriented anymore. Infact it was soft.. femine..
Fellow raised its head up and pulled the hair behind.
The face Viki and Linda saw wasn't really what they expected.
"And to think I expected a guy."
She had glowy yellow eyes, elven ears.. But the skin. It wasn't normal like other elves, it was more reddish, way more reddish. Similiar to that of devilkin.
She got up, her robe had gotten tattered and shredded from the impact that her chest was nearly revealed. Her size wasn't that big as Viki and Linda. About medium size.
"So.. uhhh.."
Linda wasn't really sure what the ask here. She was bit confused, as she didn't expect this from the grimdark fellow they met before.
"Just call me Shyvia." She took her helmet from the ground and holded it on her left hand.
"I don't personally normally care about this stuff, but maybe we should help out thise girls that have popped from the breeding pods? You know before heading out and all"
"Once we get to the exit, I have a little spell that should help out with the swimming issues.."
Shyvia was stashing in her armor to what seemed to be a small bag.. How it all even fit there was odd. She also took out a potion and gulped it all down. It seemed to be restoring her quite a bit, Linda sensed she had recovered mana from it.
Linda was bit careful though and kept her eye on her.
When it comes to the girls around the lair..
There was 3 girls that were confused but on their senses that had gotten up, 2 humans, 1 elf.
2 girls were passed out on the ground on top of tentacle creature corpses 1 elf, 1 lizardkin. The elf seemed to have pretty posh looking ear rings going on about.
4 girls seemed to be on their own worlds on the ground.. . 3 elves, 1 human. 2 of the elves were still trying to get something out of the corpses of the tentacle creatures..
1 human girl was seemingly bit.. docile. She was just standing around looking around without any change on her face. She was like nothing had happened even though she was nearly covered in tentacle slime and semen.
A) Help the girls out. (Whom?) Note; More you try take out, more time will be used on it..
Viki and Shyvia can carry one girl. Two of the released girls can carry 1 girl.
Confused girls can carry and the docile can carry too.
