This game plays slick as fucking ceiling wax, holy shit
Been going through the first level for about half an hour getting the basics of the game
You got your standard four-button controls here - D-pad, A, B, L, R. NES with shoulder buttons.
A - Attack
B - Jump
L(Hold) - Dash
L+A - Dash Attack
R - Charge Move (Destroys all "Frozen"/"Stunned"enemies)
Down+A(Mid-Air) - Descending Jump Attack
Up+A (Ground) - Ascending Jump Attack
How the game works is this -
The Enemy Health system works with a percentage instead of points - You hit them, but after a second the percentage drops. If you get it to 100%, they die and are in a Stunned state.
After about ten seconds, they die off on their own - However, if you Stun an another enemy close to them, the timer resets.
This is where the R move comes in, you use this, and it will destroy every Stunned enemy on the map, off or on screen.
The more enemies you destroy at the same time, the more gems they drop.
Gems fill the meter on the left, and each time you fill that meter, you get a random power-up, listed at the top of the screen.
Extra Damage, Extra Speed, Attack Loops, Double Jump, Attack Length, Ascending Jump Attack, Descending Jump Attack, Attack Speed, Extra Gems, Extra Gems+, an extra life, and another extra life
These all add up to each other, if you've ever played the PS2 Maximo game, just like that.
And just like Maximo - If you lose your habit(One single hit), you lose all of your power-ups.
When you do lose your habit, the Gem Meter changes to the Habit Meter. A full bar will restore your habit. Get hit without your habit, and you're dead
Now, in the options menu the really important one for a lot of people will be the fourth option down.
This is the option to switch between Ero(エロ) and Guro(グロ)
When you lose all of your lives, there's a sprite animation. For example with the skeleton, for Ero, the skeleton will fuck the Sister with the end of his sword. For Guro, the skeleton will dismember her.

Same. I have assigned all the buttons for my controller, but it wont let me do anything else, i cant get past that page.

So when I try to run the demo I get a purple screen and it just sits there. I am Japanese unicode and region on my computer. Do I need the rpgmaker thingy?
