Toonpimp updated his forum. He released a beta version of cheetamen.

I don't like toonpimp, but I gotta say, this looks like it might be a step in the right direction for him.

He's talking about adding enemies for a price. I paid for Peach in Pepe Le Rapiste, and well, let's just say she wasn't worth 80 bucks.

If his prices are reasonable, I might help him out.

I'd love to see Valentine or Cerebella from Skullgirls.

Or Juliet Starling from Lollipop Chainsaw.

Or a female Blaziken.

(off topic) one thing I have found interesting is the lack of Lollipop Chainsaw H there is. I mean L4D's got like 5 or 7 live action porn. Not only is Juliet better looking then Zoey but she even likes a little funny stuff.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cringe at the fact that Spike is in this game as a random NPC you can beat on

Aside from that...I think the game is, okay. Its not horrible and I do like the idea that the only way to get health is to rape downed enemies (At least I think its the only way, I never saw a health power up) thus making it a tactic you need to employ rather then just doing it for fap material.

A minor complaint is probably the fact that it seems every, single, attack knocks you flat on your arse for a few seconds. Its tiresome getting knocked down, getting up and promptly being flattened again a second later :/

Not a bad game so far. Though I'm not holding my breath for the end result. And I really don't have the money/inkling to pay for extra stuff Especially with those prices lol.

I'd say this is actually pretty good work for toonpimp. His animation hasn't improved much (still needs more frames, and a little more time spent on polishing) but this is just a demo. The gameplay however is very good, it will probably turn into something that makes me want to bash my head into my keyboard later on, but for now it's mildly enjoyable.

Not really if you have gotten any kind of commission from an artist TP is very affordable as he's offering drawing, animating, and coding for about the same price as 5-6 sketches or 2-3 flat color pieces

For $75 on deviant art you could get professional quality artwork from a dedicated and talented artist. Toonpimp just traces images and slaps together mediocre animations, and then runs them through existing code. I'd much rather have one excellent piece of artwork done by a talented artist than any number of products created by Toonpimp, no matter how much content they contain.

Umm... I've spoken to both PurpleMantis and "Rodrigo" about making FLASH GAMES based of Poison from final fight, and you can get much better value than a few Toonpimp animations in a generally choppy game.

I wonder what Reiq would charge? Probably around the same, for a Jigglygirls picture.

There isn't too much better than that. Maybe 34 san? Eroquis? Cyberunique maybe.

All PRO quality art, for this much, or possibly less.

From what I've seen PurpleMantis primarily makes interactive animations. The type that loop until you hit a button to advance to the next scene not a full game. Though I could be wrong and I would love to see what his prices are as I have a few ideas I've been kicking around myself.

I can't really tell why people don't like him so much.. If people give him money that's their call... If he makes a good/bad game and tries to sell it, he's not forcing us to buy it, so really, bashing him is kinda pointless.. If you don't like his games, go play something else and stop making such a fuss.

I fully understand why people hate him now.

He IS forcing us to pay out the ass for.. .. .. Not even really the game itself, just a tiny molecule of content FOR the game.

Bashing him is still pointless, since I'm almost certain he's just doing this to get a reaction out of people, when in reality he's probably already got enough money to sustain himself and he just wants to be a nuisance to nerdy hentai gamers online, fans or otherwise. So really, we're just feeding him by whining about it.

Lastly, if people don't like his games, I still think they should get the taste of bad developer out of their mouth and play something better to relieve stress.

That prices seem pretty low and seem alright for the amount of work they'd give him.

It's not like he's selling the game for that much for each player. It's someone paying alone for his work, that's why it looks expensive for a game. And it can't really go any less than that.

Doing these things is not easy, as is drawing things. If toonpimp has another job, like programming, $25 is most likely not enough to pay for his services for a full day. For a full-blown character, he's likely to spend a week.

And if people really want a certain character, why not donate together? $75 is a lot for a h-game, but if 10 people want the same thing, that's only $7.50.

Since people like to complain about it so much, I think I am going to make this game with nothing but characters that I have used in previous games.
After all, it is my game to do whatever I want with, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

That and he never finishes stuff that is promising and looks good. Cracklevania, for example. Damned promising, shot it out the window. Dead as a stone.

The guy only wants attention for minorly created Products. He doesn't do a crap right, for all i know. And once he does something right, he cancels it before even barely done with it.

In my case. The Minor Products of his, is nothing comparing to EX's. Nearfatal site. And i don't want to argue about that case. Drop Toon Pimp. You Pimp your Toons with just Colors and Clothes. But nothing serious major changes, or even finishing your Products.
