Strike obediently comes over to Helena and pokes her arm in greetings. Then she starts trying to teach.

Soon Helena notices that different pokes have difference meanings depending on the context, and the language seems very simplified, with no real grammar. Helena does learn some useful words like egg, web, spider and meal.

Helena smiles widely and does her best to reciprocate, picking up a few words and continues trying to learn more. This was crazy and amazing all at the same time, it was so odd!

Helena finally hugged Strike after a little more and thanked her, giving her a break to go be her derpy self, really happy and beaming from ear to ear as she walked back to the fire smiling.

"That is the strangest language I have ever heard of let alone considered." She said laughing as she sat down, feeling better about everything.

Strike hugs Helena back before heading to the forest. Willow smiles at Helena before turning to look back at Cindy, who's playing with the cat. "Spiders are strange creatures. What did you learn?"

"Egg, Web, Spider, and Meal" Helena said laughing, shaking her head. "It's crazy really, you need to be right there poking to speak it, and it has no grammar, its amazingly simple." she continued, relaxing. "Thanks Willow, I hadn't even considered that option. Did we ever find out what was in those jars?" she suddenly asked, looking around for the ceramic.

"The ceramic bottle seems to have some sort of strong liquor. The others are just wine bottles. Pretty good wines, though." Willow answers, taking a sip from an opened wine bottle before handing it to Helena.

Helena laughs. "booze smugglers! Bwhahahaha" Helena was practically doubled over as she took the wine, taking a good pull before handing it back, enjoying the taste. "So we have what is possibly illegal hooch, and a ton of weapons for salvage. This has been a well spent job If I don't say so myself" Helena stated rather proudly, still snickering.

"Probably not illegal. I don't think the captain would've wanted the chef to be drunk on the job, though. And three bottles isn't very much to smuggle. The weapons will sell for a lot more."

"Still, I bet there's more hidey holes on that ship" Helena muttered, thinking again about the wreckage and anything she might have missed... The captains quarters... "We missed something" Helena said suddenly raising her head. "Aqua, care to give me a hand?"

Helena would like Aqua to come, but it wasn't really necessary as she ran and dove into the water, giving something completely different a try, elongating her fingers and toes in the water and encouraging the flesh to web between them. If that would work, then she would be faster then even her wings would grant her under the water. It was time to make one last pass at the ship.

Webbing appears between Helena's fingers and toes, though it's not quite as effective as she thought. Aqua follows Helena, pulling air with her again.

Well, it was a good idea, And if one wasn't better then the other~ Helena sprouted her wings as well as a long tail that whipped through the water. Who'd have thought being a vet would be useful for this odd little power of hers! Propelling herself through the water as fast as she could, using her tail and hands to better steer herself, Helena headed around the wreck, looking for her target, She was after the captains cabin and anything else hiding nearby. One hidden compartment generally meant more...

Helena finds the captain's cabin quickly, since there isn't much to search. Inside, she manages to find a small hideyhole, but it's empty.

Cursing under the water, Helena picked over the rest of the rooms, breathing when she had to hoping they had missed something. They really must have had a lot of time when they left. It was likely that they had left the weapons because they were simply too heavy to move. Which was surprising. Why had no one returned to collect them? Or was it more that they had only left recently...

Searching thoroughly, Helena soon starts feeling quite miserable, even though Aqua keeps fetching more air, and for little results, too. On the second best cabin, she finds similarly hideyhole with a small purse in it, for 20 gold.

Finally, in the food storage Helena hits the jackpot: a hidden room. It contains several heavy sacks and some crates and barrels.

God this was tedious, why was she so greedy.... O well, she was in it for a dime? She was in it for a dollar, and her pride at saying that had something important they had missed wouldn't let her abandon the search. And there it was, in the first room that had given her her hunch in the first place, the pantry. And Bingo! Getting excited, Helena started hauling everything out of the room, taking as many trips as necessary, not wanting to open anything in the water just yet.

Hauling the load takes almost as long as finding it did, even with everyone helping, but finally it's all on the beach. Willow has already laid the eggs and is helping with the others.

The witch proudly hands Helena a knife and gestures her to cut one of the sacks open.

Helena takes the knife smiling widely *I do hope you enjoyed the birthing Willow, It's such a unique experience~* Helena sent to her and her alone, smiling honestly at her before she moved to open one of the sacks, wondering what her persistence had earned her today. It was safe to say that no part of the ship had been left unsearched, and now... It was time to reap the rewards of her efforts.

Slashing the sack open reveals it to be filled with strange wooden symbols; each is carved with a small circle in the center, surrounded by a larger circle, surrounded by two overlapping squares in 45 degree angle with each other.

Helena paled and bent over to pick one of the strange wooden objects up, showing it to Willow. "Any idea? It makes me itch..." Helena said a little creeped out and extremely curious...

Willow looks at the strange carving blankly. "It looks like some sort of a holy symbol, but I've never seen one like that before. It's not Lawgiver's and it's not Ezra's, but that's all I can tell."

Helena looks around for Cindy, calling her over. "Cindy! Do you have any idea who this supposedly belongs to? Because I have NO clue!" She said grinning.

After that was handled, Helena would go over the other cargo, the crates and barrels, wondering what they held, and a little nervous given the nature of what was in the sacks...
