The airport has lots of traffic, but it's easy enough for Helena to find Strike and the others. There is, of course, some obligatory waiting, and Strike and Red are playing again. When the group is finally about to board, the boarding personnel seem about to say something about Strike, but somehow it doesn't come out, no doubt due to external influence. The group is seated in the first class and when she's seated, Strike tries to put on the seatbelt, to the amusement of the steward.

Helena manages to keep control right up until the Spider tries to put on the seatbelt, at which point she's finally overcome with a fit of impressive giggles and facepalming. "You really are too much somedays."

As everyone is having a laugh, Strike finally manages to put on the seat belt as the plane takes off, only for Red to release it once they reach the flight height. Much flailing follows.

Helena looms over Red and Strike, a dark aura of 'Stop it or be punished' flowing from her in a distinctly disturbing way. Helena was fine with flying on her own... But something about being stuck in a steel tube above the ground still freaked her out when Gravity was still involved....

The continuous war between the slimegirl and the spider dies down soon enough. Ginny focuses on reading, Jasmine seems to be meditating and Red and Strike seem to be bored.

Helena closes her eyes and waits for the flight to be over, not caring that the two idiots were bored. She hated planes.

After a couple hours, an in-flight meal is served accompanied by wine, and as they're flying in the first class, it turns out to be fairly decent, though not great by any means. Ginny seems to be dozing off after the meal, and a few hours later the plane lands in Los Angeles, in the middle of the night. Another short wait follows before they can get on the flight to New York.

Helena gets off the plane and sticks close to Jasmine, glad to be in Los Angeles, but trying to get her legs back under her. *I hate flying on planes... Dont ask me why*

*Then why didn't you use the other way? It's not like I couldn't spare the energy of summoning you after last night.* The group takes seats in the generic café the airport has, and Ginny goes to get some refreshments for everyone.

*Because I didn't know that was an option!* Helena shudders at the idea of getting on another plane. Eating her food in silence she just waits for the tribulation of flying in a winged box to be over with. There was of course LA to enjoy, but that was debatable.

Helena glances at Strike, wondering what the hell he's going to eat before remembering most major cities had a pigeon problem. Sending the spider an image of the flying rats, Helena tells her that catching them is easy and promises that she can go hunting later.

*Well, I'm saying something now, I hate flying. How long until we have to go back up in the damn thing...*

*Okay. Thanks* Helena calms down a bit and waits for the next flight, waiting for sleep to come after she boards. Strike would just have to eat her fill when they landed.

Helena falls asleep as soon as she sits down, and wakes when the plane lands. The sun is already rising over the city as they take a taxi from the Kennedy airport to a hotel.

Helena wakes up and looks over gratefully at Jasmine,*Thanks.* Turning to Strike after the cab ride she takes her to the roof of the hotel and tells her to set up a web while she flies off quick to grab a loaf of bread, having procured the necessary bait she proceeds to throw small pieces of the bread into the web and knows that Strike is going to eat very well indeed, the Pigeons were as stupid as they were numerous. Heading back downstairs Helena wandered around until she could find the cafeteria or diner and grabbed a quick bite.

*So when are we all planning to head for this university? What was it called again?*

There's a small restaurant in the first floor of the hotel. *Miskatonic university. We'll go there by bus tomorrow.*

Helena orders a cup of coffee and wonders how a night in New York should be spent Other then partying like an animal. And comes up with bupkiss. It was time to party! *Jasmine! up for some fun tonight? we are in New York after all...*
