As Laena and Garrett spoke, Lily continued going through the book, skimming over the artifacts for ones that might be nearby. Most of them had their current location listed as either "Unknown" or in the possession of some deity, but she noted that at least two of the Power Gems were allegedly somewhere in the amazon, though neither was particularly close to their current location. The Neverstar was supposedly held in Celesis, but what had become of the ancient stone after the invasion was unknown, as none had seen or heard of it since then. Wotan's spear had been lost somewhere in the jungle nearly a hundred and fifty years ago, but its exact location was unknown.
Garrett, meanwhile, sifted around Canderous's cluttered main room for a moment or two, finding little at first beyond the assorted maps and papers that the demon had covered his table with. A number of trinkets lined the mantlepiece and another, smaller table that sat in the corner. The bookshelf was crammed with books, and the scroll rack beneath it was full, but beneath that Garrett found a trap door in the floor leading down. What lay beneath it could only be found out by shifting the scroll rack and opening it, but it didn't seem to have any sort of lock on it. Another door lay open in a separate corner from the table, leading to a narrow hallway with another three doors in it. Finally, the kitchen had a number of foods and a wide variety of cheap ceramic and wooden dishware.
