“Good morning, Vanilla,” came Parvani’s playful voice from where he still rested on the table. “You certainly had fun last night... Sleep well?”

Vanilla smiled softly as she glanced over at her staff, blushing slightly as she made her way over to him before picking him up, holding him in her hands for a moment before hugging him gently against her chest and shoulder. “Thank you, Parvani...” she said, pulling him away slightly and looking up at him. “If...If it wasn’t for you, last night wouldn’t have been possible... I would never have been able to experience what I did, or with someone so wonderful...if you hadn’t told us about Lani’s ‘ability’. So...thank you...” the catgirl finished, hugging the staff tightly against her again before setting it back down onto the table and making her way towards the kitchen, her tail slowly swaying back and forth happily as she went.

“Vanilla... I...” the magic staff said after a moment, somewhat surprised by its master’s words as she left the room. “...You’re welcome, Vanilla...” he said then, a soft smile evident in his voice. There was a hint of amusement there as well, however, as if he had noticed something about the young mage that he had neglected to mention.

Still a bit sleepy, Vanilla made her way into the kitchen and slipped on an apron as she began preparing breakfast for herself and Lani, using a bit of her magic to light the stove and quickly heat a pan before placing several strips of bacon and a couple of eggs inside. While they fried, she prepared another pitcher of chilled water and a couple of cups before setting them aside and returning her attention to the pan. Once everything was ready, the catgirl made her way back out into the main room and set it down on the table before turning back to face Lani on the bedroll. “Wakey, wakey, sleepyhead~”, she hummed, just loudly enough to wake the other girl if she hadn’t been already by the smell of breakfast cooking in the other room.

Added "Odd Hair" and "Odd Skin" Mutations to Vanilla. Her hair is now mostly still her normal pink, but it now has several dark-pink strands and streaks in it, so it looks sorta pink with dark-pink 'highlights', if you will. For the Odd Skin Mutation, she now has a several somewhat faint, dark-pink tattoo-like tribal markings on her cheeks, arms, legs, midriff, and lower-back (tramp-stamp-ish, lol).

They're not that elaborate in design, mostly just a few curvy lines and swirls (and the ones on her cheeks look like the markings Sesshomaru has on his face), but yeah. You can have Lani react to those as you will. ^_^

Also, I will update Vanilla's character sheet shortly to include those Mutations, as well as what Talents and such I'll be spending her EXP on, and I'll edit this OOC section here to make note of it once I do so.

Lani stirred slightly in her sleep, moaning quietly as a soft smile spread across her lips as Vanilla pulled herself free from the young demoness. Though she simply spread her limbs, stretching out to fill the space that had suddenly become available, though in doing so Lani managed to snag the blanket on her foot, pulling it down to reveal her back and most of her bare ass. She led like that, her body flushed with the warmth of their shared night, until Vanilla had called out to her.

Stirring once more Lani was slowly woken up by the sound of Vanilla's soft voice and the scent of her cooking quickly filling her nostrils. Moooooooorning, Vanilla," Sitting up Lani stretched and yawned loudly before rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "Mmm, something smells ni-" Lani paused midsentence as she stood up and looked at the catgirl, a mix of curiosity and confusion on her face. "Um... Vanilla... Did... did you always have those markings on your body and hair..?"

“Hmmph?” Vanilla mumbled, swallowing down a bite of bacon before looking back at Lani with a cocked eyebrow. “Markings? What do you mean?” she asked, looking down first at her arm and suddenly noticing a few dark pink, curvy...lines running along each of her arms from her forearm up to her shoulder, the catgirl’s eyes widening in surprise and – for the moment – curiosity at the sight of them. “Ehh? Wha...? When did...how...?” she said, rubbing at them for a moment as if to see if they would come off. “Kyah~! They won’t come off~! And... Ahh! My hair! W-why are there dark streaks in it~?!” the young mage whined, grabbing a few strands as she noticed the discoloration out of the corner of her eye.

Before she could put any more thought into it or get any kind of meaningful response, however, there was a rasping and whining noise that could be heard coming from the front of Vanilla’s shop, causing the half-nymph to snap her gaze towards the door to the front room as a faint look of panic fell over her. “Kyah~! Oh no, I...I can’t answer the door looking like this~!” she whined, her ears drooping as she began trying to cover the newly-acquired markings on her arms as if they were her only concern, completely disregarding that she was currently dressed in nothing more than a frilly pink apron. The catgirl was also too nervous and preoccupied with her thoughts to recognize that the sounds coming from outside her shop likely weren’t coming from a potential customer, although whether Lani could perhaps recognize anything in particular about those noise was unknown to anyone but her.

"Don't worry too much about it, I think they make you look even cuter," Watching Vanilla's reaction Lani couldn't help but giggle at her new lovers reaction to the markings on both her body and hair. As she finished reassuring the young catgirl Lani stepped closer to her and took hold of Vanilla's hands, tugging gently so that Vanilla would lean forward. With their faces near each other the young demon girl kissed Vanilla deeply for a moment, taking in the taste of the catgirl and the bacon she had just consumed. "Mmm, delicious~" Lani muttered softly, a devious smile pulling at the corners of her mouth as she parted from their brief kiss.

"That sounds like... That sounds like a... doggy," Releasing Vanilla's hands the young demoness tentatively edged her way towards the door leading to the main area of the shop, completely forgetting her current lack of clothing. The noises coming from the door didn't sound like something a person would've made, that much was certain. And Lani was sure there was something familiar about the whining sounds, and the way the scraping against the wood sounded. "I think I know who it is!" Lani suddenly blurted out, and with a wide smile on her face she charged through the living quarters of the building and into the main shop area to unlock the door and throw it open, hoping she was right about the new arrival being the beloved family dog, Fido.

Heading for the door completely in the nude, Lani threw the door open to find exactly what she'd been expecting; Fido, sitting in front of the door. All five feet of him, leaving him a bit taller than she was when sitting down. The people of Chander were giving the tremendous black canine a good number of stares, but when she threw the door open most of those looks shifted to the fully naked and fairly busty half-demoness standing in the doorway. The hellhound tilted its head and gave a low woof in greeting before leaning forward to give her face a series of quick slobbery licks, and then rose up to its feet and calmly strode past her into the room, tailing whipping behind him. She couldn't help but notice the letter tied into the collar wrapped around his throat, its writing in a familiar handwriting that Lani recognize well enough to realize that it belonged to her mother.

"Fido~!" Lani threw her arms around the monstrous dog as she swung the door open and laughed cheerfully, happy to see a familiar face so far away from home. His black fur and tongue tickled the naked demon girl's bare flesh which served to make Lani laugh even harder, her face quickly turning beet red from laughing so hard. Once she and the dog had separated Lani watched Fido walk into Vanilla's home before turning to close the door. It was only then that she realised all eyes had been on her and Fido's reunion, and once he had left they had fell upon her naked form. Though instead of showing embarrassment she simply smiled, bid good day to the citizens and waved to them before closing the shop door and quickly made her way back to the living quarters of the building with Fido, her tail happily swishing back and forth.

"Vanilla~!" Lani called out as she entered the main room with Fido, a wide beaming smile spread across her face. "Look who's arrived~!" The young girl sounded absolutely giddy at her announcement, and flopped against the back of her large companion, and with her face buried in the dogs fur she inhaled deeply. Fido smelt of the home she had left to go on this adventure, and until now she had forgotten how much she had missed the place.

"He's Fido, the doggy I told you about yesterday! Who's a good boy? Yes you are~!" Lani's arms tightened around the beast as she held onto him, her face nuzzling against Fido's neck as her fingers clutched onto the dogs fur, though not tight enough to hurt him as she continued to hug her dear friend that she had left behind.

"Mom must've sent him to find me after she found out I left. But, I'm not going back with you, okay, Fido?" Finally releasing the dog from her grip Lani climbed off his back and made her way back by Vanilla's side. It was only when she moved to the front of the monstrous canine that she noticed the package bundled against Fido's collar. "Oh, something from mom? I wonder what it is..."

Into Vanilla's shop walked a dog the size of a small horse, its eyes glowing a demonic red and its spike-tipped tail flitting back and forth. It endured Lani's energetic naked cuddling with as much dignity as it could, though as she sniffed at it Lani detected an unfamiliar scent, a musky aroma reminiscent of the vigorous and extended orgy she'd experienced last night. He released a light growl, a sound that Lani would recognize as what he made when annoyed, and flicked his ears at her announcement that she wasn't coming back with him.

(You get to write Eleanor's letter Oni, though I recall Lani being illiterate for some reason. Whether or not that's true is up to you.)

I... Th-Thanks...” she muttered, although whether she was thanking the demon-girl for the compliment about her...markings, for the ‘delicious’ comment, or just for the kiss itself was uncertain.

Lani’s remarks regarding the faint noises coming from the front door as she pulled away and slowly in that direction confused the young mage as well. They were from a...doggy? Vanilla couldn’t recall anyone in Chander owning a dog, so...why would one be pawing at her door? It didn’t make sense... “Why...? Wha...? A-Ah! L-Lani! You’re...!” the catgirl began, but stopping as her new friend suddenly took off and disappeared into the front of her shop, noticing all too late what the other girl was intending to do, “...not dressed...” she finished, blushing from embarrassment seemingly on Lani’s behalf. She then slumped down in her seat slightly with her attention turning back towards her own ‘problem’, passing idle glances at the markings on her arms and frowning in dismay.

Lani would likely take care of whatever was as her door...probably just shoo it away if it really was a stray dog or something. The catgirl had no idea what to do about these strange markings, though...she couldn’t figure out how the even got there. “Parvani...what happened...?” Vanilla whined, glancing at the staff resting on the table. “Did you see what might have...caused this last night? I mean, is Lani just...playing a trick on me or something? I won’t mind if she is, it’s just... I can’t figure out how these got here...or why they won’t come off...”

“Well~... You know Lani’s demon friends from last night? Specifically, Vivika?” Parvani began with a hint of amusement in his voice, earning a blush and a timid nod from his master as her mind momentarily thought back on it. “She was a full-blooded demon,” he finished, pausing for a minute to let that fact sink in, to which the young mage reacted with noticeable sense of concern in her features.

“It’s unlikely that either the goblins or Lani, being only lesser and half-demons, have enough corruption in their blood to have affected you, given your own nature...but you can bet that sweet ass of yours that a full-blooded demon certainly does,” the staff continued to explained. “As such, I can pretty much guarantee that those markings and the darker strands in your hair are a direct result of the rather intense pleasure that she gave you last night~”

“Oh nooo...” Vanilla whined, her shoulders slumping and she suddenly very much regretted helping her new friend ‘pay’ her demon summons. “I...I knew it... I knew I shouldn’t have agreed to...to have sex with them. Mother always said to avoid demons, but I always thought it was because they were just...evil and dangerous and would just want to hurt me because I’m part Fey...” she said, stopping her brief monologue as she pulled some of her hair around in front of her and looking at it thoughtfully. “...And now I have all of these...these ‘demonic’ markings all over me... Oh...what I am I going to do...?” the catgirl said, idly reaching out and picking Parvani up off the table and pulling him into a light hug against her shoulder.

Vanilla’s attention was then refocused as she heard Lani call out her name a few seconds later, drawing her gaze towards the door to the front of her shop just in time to see her new friend walk in along side what could only be described as a monster. There now stood a canine beast that was easily the size of a small horse – standing taller than Lani even while on all fours, with glowing red eyes and a strong build that showed off it’s purely muscular frame. Vanilla’s entire body immediately paled, the massive beast’s presence almost paralyzing the petite catgirl in fear as her eyes went wide and her ears and tail drooped and fell still, with Lani’s friendly attitude towards him being the only thing keeping her from being utterly terrified of the demonic canine. “...H-Hi...”

With just about any other form of beast that the catgirl had ever dealt with, she would have almost immediately identified such an act as a friendly gesture on the part of the dog. But the low growl emanating from it’s chest that followed, along with the sheer size and demonic nature of Lani’s canine friend prevented her from doing so. Instead, the young mage just looked back at the massive beast with one thought in mind. “P...Please don’t eat me!” Vanilla squeaked out, closing her eyes as she clutched Parvani that much more tightly against her, subconsciously and unknowingly releasing a tiny burst of magic as she cowered in her seat behind her magical staff.

"Hey now, don't be like that," Lani knelt in front of Fido and kissed his nose as she removed the package from his collar. "While I love it back home, and miss everyone, I've been there for two years. And after hearing all of mom's tales about her adventuring years I wanted to go on my own adventure. So I'm going to go adventuring for a little while longer." The young demoness then stood back up, eager to see what the package held.

The package itself was thick but surprisingly light for its size, wrapped in the usual parcel fare of thick brown wrapping paper, bound together securely with parcel rope. The paper showed some wear and tear from its journey, but other than a few grass stains and the odd smudge of dirt it was in otherwise perfect condition. It also had an envelope attached to it, and in familiar handwriting Lani's name was written. Moving over to the couch Lani idly picked up her shirt and put it on, and leaving it unbuttoned the young demoness sat down next to Vanilla and crossed her legs, placing the package between them. Removing the letter for a moment Lani tore through the wrapping paper, a soft 'ooooh' escaping her as the paper tore away to reveal its contents.

Holding it up in front of her Lani's face beamed as she gazed at the jacket her mother had sent to her. It was obviously handmade, most likely by Eleanor given the odd double and triple backed stitching done here and there to strengthen a poorly made stitch, as well as the obvious joins and patches of material used where her mother had cut the fabric too small in places and had to add sections to it. Though despite the flaws in it Lani was immensely happy to receive it. The fabric itself was a thick, breathable material, obviously suited for keeping the wearer cool in the arid climes of deserts and wastelands, but also perfect trapping heat to keep the wearer warm when the sun set. It also had a hood, with two slits for Lani's ponytails as well as another two on the back for her wings, and from the base of the neck to the bottom of the shoulder blades was made from a weave of tightly woven fibres encased in a thin yet durable plastic material. The colour matched her small leather corset, the main body being maroon in colour whilst the button area and the hem was cream in colour.

After admiring the jacket for some time Lani led that down and took out the remaining items. The first were a pair of boots, similar to the ones she had been wearing though these new ones lacked the decorative straps and came down to about half way up her shin instead of just below the knee. However they had solid metal caps over the toes of the boots, perfect for putting a bit more strength behind the young demon girl's kicks. The last item bundled in the package was two pink silky ribbons, to replace the fraying ties that currently held her hair up in Lani's signature style. All in all it was a lovely package sent by her mother, and Lani felt a little guilty about leaving and having no desire to go back to the farm just yet.

Oblivious to the world around her once she had delved into her present Lani had only just noticed Fido was in front of the two of them once she had put her gift to one side and was about to rip into the letter. "Hehe, don't be silly, Fido wouldn't want to eat you, he's being friendly is all," Lani smiled, and leaning forward she patted the monstrous dog on the head. "See, he's a good boy." Unaware of Fido's sudden arousal, and of Vanilla's subconscious act of trying to communicate with the beast Lani turned back to her letter and opened it, pulling the leaf of paper out to read.

Dearest Lani,

By the time this letter reaches you you'll probably be miles away from the farm, and no doubt Crolia itself, which is why Fido was sent in my place.
Don't worry, I'm not disappointed in your sudden departure, and in fact I had expected something like this to happen sooner or later after all of the
tales of my adventures I had shared with you. Though I am a little saddened that I couldn't share these new adventures with you. But the farm needs
me so I wouldn't have been able to join you anyway. That and I don't think Kara could manage Colt and Pris by herself.

The farm is doing fine, by the way. In fact, by the time this letter does reach you we'll hopefully have a new creature to tame and breed. Do you
remember those creatures I told you about before that I encountered towards the end of my mercenary days? The feral stalkers? I've been thinking
about it for a while now, and while I have mostly bad memories of them if they can be successfully tamed and trained then they could end up
becoming almost as good as our hellhounds. At the very least they'll be exotic enough to pique the interest of potential customers.

But that's enough about the farm and business, you've set out on an adventure, you won't want to hear about that. I hope you like my gift, it took me
a while to put together. You should see the cuts and blisters on my fingers! The gift was actually meant to be given to you sooner, but it took longer than
expected and I didn't know you were so set on seeing the world, which is the reason why you've received it now. It was meant for the cold weathers of
Crolia, but if you took my tales to heart then I have no doubt that you went south, probably to Badaria, and while the jacket is meant to keep you warm
it's a breathable material, so you'll stay nice and cool during your journey south. The boots are just something I had been working on with the jacket,

'Woof' Fido grunted at Lani as she took the package and told him in no uncertain terms that she wouldn't be coming back to the ranch with him, though Vanilla would hear it not as a canine bark but in words; "Well that's no big surprise... I'm never going to get treats now!" The hellhound's voice was oddly sophisticated, akin more to that of a well educated man than to the inhuman noise that it had been to the half-nymph a moment ago. To compound her own surprise at being able to understand the beast, it was clear that Fido could understand her just as clearly given the sudden shift in the creature's stance.

"When did you learn to speak properly!?" he asked incredulously, his ears flattening, "And Lani is quite right! I have no interest in eating you. Given that I've just been traveling for over a week and haven't seen any attention in over a month, and am currently in a room with two able bodied, nude, and fertile females however, fucking one or both of you is more or less the first thing on my mind."

Vanilla’s previously closed eyes shot open as she looked back at the massive beast’s with utter surprise while the canine addressed her seemingly with the exact same reaction, each of them bewildered at the fact that they could apparently suddenly understand one another.

“Y-You can talk?!” the catgirl exclaimed after a few moment’s pause, not understanding just yet that the cause behind her being able to understand Fido at the moment was her own growing abilities. She had gradually learned how to sense on some level what some of the beasts that she had summoned or otherwise encountered were thinking and feeling at times, but the half-nymph had never been able to actually converse with with any of them like she was now. Almost as surprising to the catgirl that Fido was apparently speaking to her was the way in which he spoke, sounding more like a well-educated and sophisticated man than the somewhat simple-minded beast that she would have otherwise expected.

It was then that what Fido had actually said began to register in the catgirl’s mind, however, causing her to blush and recoil slightly away from the demonic hound again. “Huh-uh!” Vanilla whined, shaking her head before looking back at the hellhound. “I-I don’t care if it’s been a month! I-I don’t want to h-have sex with you!” she continued, nervously voicing her refusal and clutching Parvani tightly against her for a sense of protection even as her own mind betrayed the fact that she didn’t want to fuck the massive canine with images of him doing just that with both herself and Lani briefly flashing through her mind.

She hadn’t caught the suggestion in Fido’s statement that Lani was fertile as well, however, assuming that he was merely referring to her in that regard...
