Knight (Passive) – The character gets a +3 bonus to AV, Dodge, attacks rolls and damage for all melee attacks. Requires: Honorable.

Quick Draw (Passive) - The character can draw their weapons without spending a turn.

Death from the Draw - The character can draw their weapon and swing with it in the same turn. When doing so, they get a +6 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Requires Skill with One Handed Swords, Two Handed Swords, or Bastard Swords (Talents) and the Quick Draw skill.

Bladesinger: Your character can use their Body stat to determine their attack rolls instead of their Spirit stat when attacking with powers. Requires: Any Spirit Talent that gives powers.

The character begins to glow as power surges through their body, granting them great strength and speed temporarily.

-In addition, the character cannot attempt to make any Stealth checks so long as this Power is active.

Energy Wave
-Like energy blast, but less direct.
-The character pays X EP.
-Then, the character deals (1d6 + 3) * X damage to all creatures within 1 of the possible ranges:
1) All creatures with a 10 foot radius of any spot within line of sight.
2) All creatures within a 30 foot, 120 degree cone.

Energy Blade
The character conjures a sword formed of pure energy attached to their arm.
-The character pays 1 + X EP. In addition, they must pay 1 EP upkeep every round.
-The blade can be of any color or shape that the character desires, and can range from 1-3 feet in length. Attacks with the blade deal (2d4 * X) + Spirit/4 damage that ignores armor.
-The character can attack in the same turn that this power is activated, but only using this power. If the character has the Duelist Talent, they can use this power as their weapon. If the character has the Two Weapon Fighting Talent, this power can be used as one of their weapons. If the character has the Unarmed Fighter Talent, this power counts as unarmed even if it is used to attack rather than that character's hands. The weapon conjured by this power counts as a one handed sword, and gets the attack bonus if the character has the Skill with X Talent.

Spent 26 exp, earned from assorted good deeds like murdering people's babies.
Bought Skilled, and then 10 points of Spirit and 8 points of Body. Body went from 44 to 52, and Spirit went from 20 to 30
For this: Spent the extra 12 xp, got me a +2 boost to Spirit, a +2 Boost to Body, and Grapple Expert

Also, just a note: Going from DG2 Fey Lord to DG3 Angel changed her racial mods a lot.
For the stats, she got +8 Body, +16 Mind, and +4 Spirit.
She also got a fuckton of racial flaws though, and her many mutations make her already well on her way to falling.

Nadia vs Tomoe!

Nadia assumed a readied stance as well, shifting her weight back and spreading her wings wide as she faced the priestess... Only to stumble and nearly fall as the ground under her feet turned form sand to a thin, oily liquid. A flap of her wings allowed Nadia to right herself, however, and she glanced around at her suddenly changed surroundings with a hint of confusion. They seemed to have been transported to some kind of arena, one that was filled with a slippery oily substance. "Not an ideal battleground... I will refrain from using my wings, as to take to the air would be an unfair advantage in this place. Ready when you are!"

The angle once more prepared a defensive stance, readying herself to defend herself from Tomoe's attack.

The sands of the beach suddenly gave away under the priestess' feet as the pair were shunted into a completely different place. Landing onto a new place, Tomoe nearly tripped onto a splits but managed to brace herself with a hand before it happened. The surrounding room was coated with a slippery oil, from roof to floor. No wonder she almost slipped.

Readying herself as she saw Nadia do so, Tomoe took a deep breath to summon up her spiritual power. She would most likely need it if there was to be any competition between the two.

Nadia just kind of stands there with an IRON Defense.

Tomoe summons her inner Kenshiro. Unfortunately, her miko garb does not tear when this happens. I'm using /5 because I'm under the impression that it's still the new spirit ceiling, which sets her max without breaking the ceiling at 12.

None of this was really necessary, I just wanted something for easy copy & paste next rolls.

Seeing Tomoe's body begin to glow as her power. Smiling slightly, the angel allowed her defense to drop as she brought up her own aura, though she put nowhere near her full strength into it. Her skin and her wings both glowing brightly, Nadia prepared to receive Tomoe's first attack.

With Battle Aura 12 and the properties of the room active, Tomoe has a total of 70 to attack, after the +36 from her aura and -20 from the oil. She has 85 for Dodge.

Nadia has a total of 67 Dodge and 42 to attack, but she still has 74 grapple.

So, I'll active Battle Aura 4, which gives me 79 Dodge and 64 attack, but I only get that +12 to grapple when I'm trying to grab Tomoe.

It seemed like the angelic Nadia had the same idea as Tomoe, a divine aura of a similar look to her own appearing to surround the winged woman. Both of them were ready now, and the young shrine maiden stepped in to throw the first attack of their battle, a kick that she aimed towards Nadia's side.

Despite her supercharge, Tomoe still failed to deliver her sidekick. Unarmed battle was hardly something she was good at, so it did not surprise her one bit. But the battle would not stop until she or the angel went down, and she moved forward against the dodging Nadia, swinging a strong right hook at her direction.

Nadia slid back as Tomoe launched the kick at her, stumbling slightly in the slippery oil and barely able to keep steady despite her own glowing aura. That strike would have been extremely powerful, had it hit, and the angel breathed a sigh of relief despite the less than lethal nature of the competition.

Lurching forward and skidding on the slippery arena floor, Nadia made to tackle the miko and bear her to the ground.

Attempt to grapple Tomoe!
12 from BA, 62 from Body, and 12 from Grapple expert gives me a total of 86 to grapple. As Tomoe still has 85 for Dodge and 70 attack against my 79 Dodge, I'll also take a -10 penalty to my attack, but I don't necessarily want the +10 Dodge from it just to make things interesting.

"Oh my... Didn't mean to hit Miss Nadia this hard..." Tomoe thought as her Aura-powered punch to the upper arm of the rookie angel tore away her clothes, leaving only a few shreds behind when the force sweeped over her. Despite the awkwardness and the blushing it brought over to her, the eastern warrior wouldn't shy away from the situation as it was combat. The shock of the blow had a definate effect on the woman, preventing her from doing a proper grapple. The shrine maiden escaped her grasping attempt with quickness, shifting stance slightly before she aimed another kick at her training partner. Maybe it would end with this...

(It doesn't increase grapple, but it does increase attack rolls, and the attempt to start a grapple is considered an attack roll. It would help to grab, but not to maintain the grapple or perform any actions in it unless they were also attack rolls. i probably ought to have made that explicit somewhere. Also, don't forget the arena penalties.)

Nadia rolled away as Tomoe's blow landed, the wind knocked from her and her robe torn aside by the force of it. She skidded several feet across the oil, becoming filthy from it once more, but despite the powerful blow, when she came back out of the oil, Nadia was laughing, gleeful that the other woman was no push over. Regaining her feet, Nadia stood ready, her oil soaked wings no longer usable even if she hadn't sworn not to make use of them. Rather than attempt another attack, however, Nadia stood her ground and made ready to skid aside from Tomoe's next attack.

Avoiding Tomoe's follow up strike, Nadia pivoted on her foot, almost falling onto her backside once more, and then prepared to dodge again. "You're good at this.... Lets see how long you can keep this up though!"

There was marginally less success now that the winged lady got her defenses up again, easily evading Tomoe's incoming kick. But it was still not over, and the miko continued to bring in strikes, hoping that she might be able to slip one in through Nadia's skilled defense.

It seemed like bashing against the angel's defense had no effect. She was way too focused on it to enable any openings for Tomoe to use for her advantage, evading another blow from the flailing miko. But there was a need to finish this up, so the easterner kept up with her attack, which would soon fade as her spirit power was draining out.

Seeing that the miko's power-inspired strength was about to fade, Nadia suddenly broke from her defense and tried to tackle the woman once more. She tried to remain agile, however, as Tomoe's next attack would yet retain her full power.
