Nice idea! I too drew my own map for my game. But not a very nice one I guess.

I can't replicate the thing with the bow, maybe it was during a fight where I used venom blade by accident. Though if you want to keep making bows useful to her a bow that has a chance of inflicting a bad status ailment on hit would be interesting. Poison arrows for poison or a bow fluffed like Cupid's bow for confusion might work. Though the latter would probably be a Void magic item if my reading on the fluff is right.

On the sword, the inspiration for most of them was fairly easy to figure out. Though the one I'd be most interested in hearing more about is Megersing, mostly because spell-swords are my favorite character type to play. I've actually done a fair bit of combat training and learning about various martial styles in real life so looking at the amount of research you did to make them recognizable is really nice.

The wall position in her new scene was actually one of the things that I'd really liked about it. Then again I'm a fan of very strong and very large, in every way, enemies in games like this so something that could overpower her that much was nice to read.

Yeah. Here it is:


Drop that in the game folder and BE SURE to delete the CG.save file first in order for this to work. At its core, it's basically just an Emilia save (with the debugger tool included), but all the switches to unlock every HCG are hit, so it should at least have everything in the gallery. Even then, I do recommend playing through with at least Thyme, if nothing else, for this new patch.

oh, yay update 0.o Haven't seen your face in a long time :p yay for save with cgs (hopefully)! having less time these days with uni lol

Hmmm btw it doens't seem to unlock cg? any way we can get those unlocked ? (save file or something like that) Don't have much time these days <.<;;

The save file that I have should unlock the CG's, but you need to delete CG.save first in order for it to work at all; when you start a game without an existing CG.save file in the folder, it automatically creates one based on the switches that are hit in your existing save files (i.e. Save1, Save2, Save3, and so on). The one I uploaded should be a Level 1 Emilia file--is it? Stick it directly in your DLaby folder, the same folder with the game file.

Thyme's flashback is epic. The music fits in with the scene perfectly. Really inspiring. The library's contents are very interesting. Sword styles, The Void Creatures and the Church of Elynsor, Kingdoms.

Thanks! Hopefully it should fill in some blanks with regards to minor questions people might have about certain organizations and what not--but not all of them, of course, since that would spoil the fun. Very nice map by the way; I think I will ultimately have to draw one out as well before making an RPG Maker incarnation of the world.

Thanks. I'm making my own rpg maker hentai game titled: "Emmerzail". I will upload it once I reached a certain point in the game, since it has 3 heroines and 3 different routes.

Haha, I'm always here, just yell at me in the shoutbox sometime--it's just that this thread doesn't necessarily get comments as frequently as the LOK one, so I tend to check it less... but I appreciate your support!
And yep, it's mainly because I've been adding an average of 20 CG's or so to each H-scene instead of like 3 or 4. I can cut it back down since I know people are mainly after the writing, and that takes considerably less space, but we'll have to see how the first game turns out. I probably wouldn't want to let it get bigger than 200MB, since that's a little... yeah.

What quality are the images that you're including as those CGs?

I ask because you could save a lot of space by simply reducing the file-size of the images you're including, and because the game-screen itself isn't that large, you could pretty easily save the images as a lower quality without having too much effect on how the image actually looks in the game.

Hum, I don't have a numerical value, per se...
But good point, I'll definitely consider that. I use a resizer program to take default shots from 3DCG and shrink them down--it does 'image quality' from a scale of 0-100 and I tend to choose 75 (though I've been doing 85 for the newer ones, which I can go back and change). Probably also doesn't help that I've been using an increased number of CG's, but yeah.

Oh, an increased number of CGs is fine. No one's gonna complain about that. :p

As for the quality thing, I would say anywhere between 50-75% quality for the images would be more than enough. For example, that old (and now huge file-sized) Slave Maker game has the same sort of problem, really. Most people, when making their slaves files, include full-sized or really high-quality images in their exported swf file or image folders. Meanwhile, the game itself automatically scales them to fit the appropriate section on the screen, meaning all that excess image quality makes the games file size senselessly huge due to the game not being able to display the images at that size anyway. Not saying that quite the same issue here, but the same principle applies.

On an unrelated note, Sairyn is officially my favorite character now. Why? I <3 smaller boobs, of course! :rolleyes: So, more Sairyn content please! :D

Could we get others debuggers tools ? The one in your save file just works for Emilia, I really like her but I think doing all events for each other characters once again is just gonna make me cry :')

Fair enough. When scaling my images I do them to 640 x 480 exactly, which is the resolution I changed the game to; also makes it easier when installing the images since I don't have to do any ridiculous adjustments like before, heh.

We've got some neat things planned for Sairyn, so sure! Actually, every character has some 'neat' things planned, so yeah...

Yeah, I second this! She's also my favourite character.
Though, for a whole different reason.

I like to pretend she uses Wing Chun.

True, she does have the smallest breasts of all the Primary 8 girls, and it is often refreshing to see in contrast to Thyme, Rhiannon and Irine, all of whom are fairly well-endowed.

Hehe yeah, she actually does quite a mix of things, although considering how... hrrm, Chinese she seems, I suppose it would make the most sense if she did a style from there, huh. That's the only bummer is that making a 'token' martial arts character means you gotta try and condense the wealth of styles into one. Maybe at some point I'll expand on unarmed combat, since I did go pretty in-depth regarding the various sword schools.
