Only one of Mary's blasts connects, and she can feel herself a little more drained and tired for having launched so many attacks at once. Her effort allows Ai to cut the tentacles again.

Ai manages to get out of the way of the vines as they swipe at her. The two breathe in even more spores; their arousal is starting to become a real problem.

"Ahh! Damnit, stupid vines...no fair, you can't win this way..." Mary said, though she noticed the vines looked like they might not last much longer, deciding to try and finish it off with another blast, hopefully Ai would hit.

"Thank you Mary" Ai thinks as she's released from the vines. Taking another vine with a parting strike, she backs off from the plant, still managing to get spored some more
"This is getting.. difficult" she says out loud, fighting back the urge to slide her hand inside her panties and start rubbing herself off. Still somehow maintaining her focus, she brings her weapon to bear on the plant

Mary manages to blast the plant, and it looks like it's almost dead, even though it manages to dodge Ai.

The plant manages to grab Ai and quickly slam her onto the ground, the aphrodisiac slime making her dizzy with her arousal.

"Ah! No! Ai...damn you plant, cut that out!" Mary angrily blasted the plant again, pissed at what it just did to her friend.

After a succesfull hit, Ai is picked up and slammed down to the ground. Stumbling back to her feet, she's starting to get confused from all the arousal.
"Can't hold out.... much longer.." she thinks, hoping to end the fight with her next strike

Mary manages to blast the plant, and it explodes along with the chest. Despite their victory, the two girls are still intensely aroused. They can leave the room to continue their exploration, or they can deal with their arousal.

Finally getting rid of the plant, Ai falls to her knees, dropping her weapon next to her.

The two find it difficult to concentrate as they walk south and then along the path to the east, which turns north after a short while, and their panties are soaked through by the time they get to another intersection. There is a door to the east, and another to the west. They're slightly less aroused, but not a lot, and fighting a monster would probably be a bad idea in their current state.

The two have to sit and rest for several hours before the spores work their way through their systems and their arousal fades completely. Feeling better, they head through the door to the east. They are greeted by a very small room with a very small chest, that seems to have no lock. There sure are a lot of chests in this spire... There is a very secure, almost new-looking door set into the south wall of the room.

Mary goes over to the chest, opening it to see what's inside.

Mary opens the chest, and inside is a small book. The cover says Spellbook: Animate Rope.

Mary breaks into a wildly massive smile as she grabs the book, reading it. "Eeee! A spellbook, yay!" she can't help but exclaim

Of course a though hits her after she's finished reading it. "Oh...but I need rope...right." She says after a moment, looking a little dejected.
