I've solved how Rare Monsters work!
They're at exact locations-monsters, but the game randomly chooses at which of these exact locations-monsters does it puts them into the random monsters or whether to leave them as the normal monsters.
Upon killing a Rare Monster, another one will pop up randomly at another rare monster's location-monster.
But, the placing of the Rare Monsters, only occurs when you leave an area. Simply going from one screen to another screen within the same area doesn't change the placement of the Rare Monsters.

So, if anyone wants to map the Rare Monster's locations, I can help, or you can do so on your own, finding the exact locations-monsters on your own of the Rare Monsters

Episode 2 is finished (and had 1 or 2 patches for some bug fixes), we're just now awaiting episode 3... which will still be quite a while aways, lol.

Hello,
I´d like to ask one question:
Meteorite equipment is better than Quartz equipment.
That´s what I know.
Now the issue I´d like to confirm:
Meteorite Armlet / Meteorite Belt increase PDEF by 5 but decrease MDEF by 10 compared to Quartz Armelt / Quartz Belt.
All other Meteorite Equipments have only increased stats compared to Quartz Equipment.
So is this decrease in MDEF for Meteorite Armlet / Belt on purpose or a mistake?

Unfortunately, there's still a lot of "bugs" (inconsistancies - wrong values either for attack~defense or for what resources-minerals they 'should' take or not) with equipment. Hopefully, they will get corrected in Episode 3 and-or in future patches.
There is the Totville Blacksmith who does sell unique equipment (like +5 STR, but no Def), so this might be the case, or it is indeed a bug-mistake by Swegabe.
