what just came out:

A new (mostly bug fix + some extra content) patch (it's a full game files download, not merely just a patch file. So you can trash your old game files, but remember to *NOT* trash your save files nor your achievement file, or replace over them) for Part 2, LoQO2 v1.02

New year is, relatively speaking, soon. Could be worse. She could be holding the release of part 3 till 2023.

She did say that she was doing Part 3 from nothing, though the main story part of the game is relatively close to finished, but it depends how much content she's going to put into it, as well as how much of the Post Game content, she'll have. There are the blocked off cave boulder areas (which if the same as LoQO1) so there's at least some post game content, not sure how much or how long it'll take to do, and there's also the:

NewGame+ and NewGame++/New Game Ultra

NewGame+ and NewGame++ and NewGameUltra

we don't know how much more-different content there is going to be for these as well.

Yeah it's just if I don't wait till it's "complete", I probably won't come back to it to finish the new content when it's released, guess more waiting for me if there's a part 3 in the works. Hard since it's one of my favorite games, I played the original nonstop for a week.

Actually one thing we know is that ultima creatures will appear in new game ultra. If you look at ingame completion percentage then it says that we're at 30 something %. Assuming that full story content will clock at about 40% there's still a lot to do for Gabe.

Unfortunately, I lost the western. However, I'm working on a new one with Latex, Iliona, and the new red haired thief. I just need to get 2 more scenes and I'll have all the possible ones. Should be up later this evening.

Right now it seems there's nothing more to temple of sacrafice (I checked it in files). No doubt once episode III roles out there be more to it.

On the wiki page for treasure hunting there are three locations, one in greystone at the end of the path past Gabe's and two on the frozen continent. I have been to all three locations but can't dig up the treasure. Any advice please.

Well, maybe you need the Digging Items, make sure you bought all of them, and there might be a Digging Item not put in the game yet, which is needed.

Go to each town, and check the Gift Shops-shopkeepers for the Items, including your Greenfield Lands estate too, and the one in Egypt-Thebes too.

I'm almost 100% positive that Gabe removed that treasures. Once I read your post I did try to dig them in the most recent version (part II v1.02) with no positive result. Then I launched version pre-1.02 and loaded my last save. I dug up the very same places with the very same digging equipment (metal sensor, steam drill, etc.) and found the treasures. If you are curious what was there, I'll tell you.
On Frozen Continent, location near captain's ship there was ring of anti-silence.
On Frozen Continent, in shiva pass there was another ring of anti-silence.
And you won't guess what was hidden at the end of the great canyon, past Gabe's house. Yes, in fact that was ring of anti-silence.

Ok, that wasn't exactly true. It turned out that the message all the 3 times showed RoA-S but in fact that was only 1 RoA-S and 2 rings of anti-poison. Anyway if gabe didn't remove that sweet loot from the game she must have hidden it someplace else.

This is a Western Save with ALL available scenes. Very few illustrations and paintings, though. Loads of quests left out, so you can continue with it. Just copy and paste the save files into the same folder as the game .exe file.

Check the towns' gift shops for buying an "Art Gallery" Item (Cost 2,500 G), clicking on this (you have to be in a safe building) item let's you see the illustrations, scenes' pics, and etc.

If you're just starting the game for your very first time, your first chance to buy the "Art Gallery" Item, is in Castle Resteed (after the town square event), in its gift shop on the western side of town.
