When you extract the game, you should see two things, a folder named sub and a swf named vampire hunter. now you want to create a new folder for these two files and make sure you put both in it, it won't work unless the sub folder is in the same spot as vampire hunter.

Did this and still doesn't solve anything. You can check by clicking on any ending in the sub folder and if it doesn't load up, you're still having issues.

actualy, the fact that it doesn't load when you run a swf from the sub folder doesn't mean anything. it doesn't run for me too, but the game works just fine

Guys, can anyone confirm how many scenes/endings are in the newest game (Bot Girl)? I've got a missionary scene, doggy style, riding, blowjob and paizuri. I also got the love ending where she waits for you to awaken in the hospital and then have sex.

If anyone can tell me if there are any additional scenes and the methods to unlock them I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you destroy the lower part of her clothes and then lose there's a face-sitting (my favourite one.)

Anyway, I think there was a post that listed the bow girl's scenes a bit earlier in the thread.

I don't recall what others you're missing if any.

Y'all can trade notes on particularly difficult to interpret symbols. And sounding boards can be useful tools. A simple editor has to work with the words on the page, but a translator can give another translator original text and proposed translation to make sure he has the best of all possible translations.

That wouldn't hurt, my biggest problem is I know shit all Japanese idioms/slang/etc besides what Rikaichan can suggest for me.

I could probably also use a good guide to J-onomatopoeia so I can sort the sfx from the generic moaning.

Speaking of my Shogun Princess Christianne project, here's what I've been up to.

So there's a LOT of text in SPC. Fortunately, a lot of it is redundant, so with some clever find&replace scripting it's not too crazy to think it can be knocked off.

However, translating lines without their game context is kinda dumb, so I am also making an effort to identify where the lines happen. Using a little script I wrote and ytinasni's translator unpacker/repacker, I have made a version of SPC that does nothing but add a unique ID to each line. Using the IDs it's possible to figure out what the game is doing when it picks the lines.

The main swf handles battles and the choices.
The sub swfs are for each sex position (missionary, doggy, cowgirl, oral-titjob, kick-rape, blitz-rape, love-end, slave-end, and elope-end).

Here is the map for the main file and the missionary position (seijyou) file I've made.

regarding "shoot" counts, only up to 4 per each sex scene are counted.  When "shoot" is 
used that the count for that scene, when "total" is used it means overall.
Pose 1 is the default pose for that position. Poses 2,3,4 are "otherposes". 3 & 4 need to 
be unlocked.
Blush is Christianne's arousal level (it carries over between sex scenes). 0 = no blush, 
1 = light blush, 2 = medium blush, 3 = full blush.  2 and 3 are a little hard to tell

I'm certainly going to need someone to look over my work when I'm done, there are several lines in what I'm translating that make no sense to me whatsoever, even with context.

It is surprisingly fun though, this translation business. The Devil girl speaks in a formal, literary style, so I have to decide whether to translate into plain English or spice it up with some 'forsooth's and 'verily's. There are challenges, like this pun in the Devil Girl game which I found impossible to translate to English, when she says:

我が秘所に導いてやろう (waga hishyo ni michiiteyaruu)

Which if translated literally means something like "I will take you to my hidden place". But "hishyou" has a triple meaning here; it's a euphamism for both "Hell" and "female genetalia". The things they don't teach you in Japanese classes!

It doesn't say "MY hidden place" (would be 我の秘所 otherwise). Hard to say anything about it without the context though. As for it referring to vagina, you should check out her expression and the situation in the game. It usually helps.

That would be very handy. I don't like to switch between the game and the editor to see what's happening when the phrase is spoken.
The second phrase doesn't really make any sense to me.

I wish I had the know how to translate games. There's this really cool game I found a long time ago that is about this guy who finds a kemomimi on the street and takes her home. I know it has some romance ending to it and I've always wanted to see it in Engish. Oh well, just wishful thinking on my part.
