How do I run this thing? Both the links to the full game and the debugged one are for downloading a single file called Game.rgss2a
AFAIK that is supposed to be a part of a RMVX game not the whole thing. I even went and got the full (trial version) of RMVX and tried opening it with that and it will not open it (it only opens .rvproj files (project files)).

Also, would be nice if someone edited working links into the original post. A moderator could do so if the OP is unavailable

I went as far as making a new empty game, saving it (in encrypted mode otherwise it wont make a Game.rgss2a file). It created game.exe, game.ini, and game.rgss2a
I replaced the game.rgss2a with this one and tried to run, got an error message saying that it cannot find audio files.
So basically, people who have been posting the "game" thus far have just been posting a single file of it. Please someone repost the actual full game, with all its assets.

I think you need to have the files .exe, .ini, and .rgss2a. Right click on the exe file. read its profile. It SHOULD say that the exe is a rgss2 player. It should also use a little icon that looks like a chess version of a unicorn. If that is what you have, double click on games.exe. and it will start the game.

Either that or game.exe is the installer that will generate the rgss2 player and a number of other files (dffs). Moment I get a game started I forget what the hell I did to get it running in the first place.

As I clearly stated, NONE of those are included in the download links.

I taught myself about the file structure of RMVX just for that. Game.rgss2a contains encrypted game content, but not all of it. I was able to create a replacement .exe and ini myself and it still didn't work because it is missing the music files.

EDIT: Someone on hongfire uploaded and posted a working link to the actual full game instead of just the Game.rgss2a file.
But this forum refuses to allow me to post links to other sites until I made at least 15 posts so if you guys want it, feel free to search for it.
I posted the links to monstergirlunlimited.net forum in the official thread (all of their links are no good too)

Of course, the site he posted it to forbids porn so this will be deleted before long

Qeustion: The game suggests there is alignment involved, as well as consequences for having drunken sex with centaurs. Are there?

I think the alignment thing is all about the fact that you were born and raised in the "Humans only" culture, but your memories of that philosophy are wiped away and you are thrust into an environment which includes "monstergirls" as valid members of the society. When ever the game is finished, I am sure there will come a time in the game where you have to choose between the war against monstergirls that your father is the leader of and the leader of the monstergirls who took away your memory so you can see the monstergirls as they are not as you were taught they would be.

As to drunken sex with centaurs, I don't remember getting drunk..

The centaurs are the ones that get drunk.
When a centaur drinks alcohol she becomes violent and rapes the nearest man... if he gave her alcohol she hunts him down later and makes him "take responsibility" for taking advantage of her while drunk.
I can't help but feel that the "take responsibility" is of the hentai kind. (aka, fuck her again)

According to monster girls in the know, 5 years ago the demon queen fell in love with the hero who went after her and changed the blight from "exterminate all mortals" (and having already exterminated the elves, dwarves, gnomes, orcs, and every other non human sentient race) to "peaceful coexistence and interbreeding of monstergirl and human" (something the church with its dogma refuses to admit and crucifies any heretic who claims otherwise).

Sweet and all, but both the main plot (JD's village founding, JD raising a bunch of kids) and side plots (that one prostitute who had unitist parents from fictional-japan got crucified, she escaped, got caught and raped by bandits, when they got bored they sold her to a guy in town who runs a slave prostitution ring... 5 years ago... when she was 13; seriously the stories of the girls in that establishment made me cry... and paying him for them to free them? that just gives him the funds to get more... Murder is the only solution; or maybe intrigue followed by murder)

Anyways, the only possible explanation is that at the time the church WAS right at the time and the unitist were dangerous nutjobs. That the unitists are suddenly vindicated as of 5 years ago doesn't change that all of them were super crazy extremists out of touch with reality before then.

Also, did I encounter a bug or does the game (abruptly) end when going below deck on the ship (first time you are on a ship)

Aside from that, the game itself is amazing. Possibly best hentai RPG I played to date.

Are you sure you are talking about Monstergirls Unlimited? Or Monster Girls Quest? (they are, in fact, two different games) None of what you are talking about is really familiar to me.

Well no, it follows the base settings from MGEncyclopedia: A Hero that was sent to destroy the Demon Lord, and a Succubus fell in love, melting forces to defeat him and share their happiness via his powers.
The Succubus became the new Demon Lord, and all the Monsters (including the humanoind races above mentioned, Angels and a couple of Gods) got transformed into Monstergirls, which are harmless to humans, and only attack to get some "snu-snu" afterwards growing fond and marring him.
Trough as you could imagine, the main (Chief) God and his followers (The Church and The Order) are not very happy with this.
Even if Chief God's powers weren't enough to cancel the new Demon Lord's influence, they made impossible to humans to be born from MG-Human relationships, so only MGs are born from their lovemaking and the danger of extincion is present.

Altrough this game was made long ago and the above settings are outdated.

Yes I am sure and how would such confusion even occur?
I played a game (MGU) and noticed a plot hole IN THAT GAME... how in the world would there being a different game with a similar name (MGQ, which I also played) in any way cause such confusion? Maybe if I was extremely high and played both on the same day but I wasn't. I also clearly explained the issue with giving a lot info about the setting which is CLEARLY VERY DIFFERENT then the setting of MGQ. It should be obvious to anyone who ever played MGU that I am talking about MGU... so I ask, did you play it?

None of this contradicts me.
What you described is said in the game to have happened 4 years ago. This is a huge gaping plot hole (specifically on timeline) in regards to the age of sanctuaries and unitists.

Also, in the actual game called "Monstergirls Unlimited" (the one this thread is about) we are told the original monster queen falls in love with him rather then a succubus who takes on the position of the queen he kills

Nice, I've been really enjoying the game so far.
The harpies are insanely hard though. I find myself saving after every encounter with them that I manage to survive. If there are 4 of them I just close the game and try again.One thing though, your forums don't seem to be taking new members. Is this intentional?

Nice, I've been really enjoying the game so far.
The harpies are insanely hard though. I find myself saving after every encounter with them that I manage to survive. If there are 4 of them I just close the game and try again.

A lot of the later encounters are like that but the harpies are especially bad.
I use escape and then save scum if they knock anyone out (since there are no healers and only way to revive a KO is to rest at inn)
A lot of battles a lose money since it costs me more in healing potions then what I loot.

MGU RPG is actually debugged, Lazydude cannot add more content than the actual patch so all that we have is to wait and hope Architect finish this game.

he can, he just says he is not an artist nor a writer so he is limiting himself to only bugfixes...
And the architect cannot finish it because he has been drafted by the navy (or was it joined willingly? I forgot) anyways... he made it open source so anyone can finish it if they are willing to, but it wont be the same.

What I am not sure is what you mean by "actually debugged".

Is this game still being worked on? I hope it is. I found it rather enjoyable besides a couple bugs and this one harpy that is insistent on taking me for herself. -throws a shoe at the harpy and hides before she sees me- I like this game.
