Blu, I'm going to be completely honest here. I honestly don't see anything wrong in uploading a hacked version of the game. I also agree that people are being a bit hypocritical here. How do we know that Koonsoft isn't angry at Kp Romplestein for cracking open Shinobi Girl and taking his own artistic liberty in uncensoring everything? You don't see KS protesting it around the forums, so people just assume it's alright and enjoy the edit.
By the same token, Blu released a hacked version with rigged stats. Zeta comes in and disproves of it, and suddenly everybody's angry. There's not much difference between him and Romplestein. They both released hacked versions because they wanted to bring something the developers can't bring into their game themselves (KS can't uncensor his work, Zeta wants a difficult game).
It's silly to try and think that you can stop these hacked versions from appearing, and, at least in my opinion, it's silly to think that a person who's modifying your game is trying to completely change your vision. Some people are just there for the porn. Some people are there for the game. That's what happens when you make a PORNOGRAPHIC GAME. If a person is trying to make the pornographic side easier to obtain, what's the problem? It's making you think that people won't pay attention to the game? People were drawn to this game because it was well-crafted and fun to play. It wasn't just because the porn in it was fantastic. A hacked version floating around the internet isn't going to make people any less interested in playing the actual game.
Take for instance Fairy Fighting. Cheats are built into the game so people can access the porn without having to worry about losing. And yet despite those cheats, people continue to turn them OFF and try to play it normally because they wanted to legitimately beat the game. Why? Because it's a FUN GAME. It's the exact same case here. People are still going to try to play Project X to win, not just for the porn.
Branching off of that, I'd also like to point out that just because there's a gallery version up, doesn't mean that you satisfied the crowd. People like using their imagination. The gallery mode is, as Zeta said earlier, a bunch of gifs replaying over and over. And that's the problem. If it's just a gif, it's nowhere near as mentally stimulating as playing the actual game, and seeing a character raped. Seeing the character surrounded by numerous enemies and struggling to try to hit D to try to get out of the attack is far more exhilarating than "Enter door here. Watch and fap to gif until done." But of course, the game has to have game overs at some point; you can't be sitting around in the game, watching someone get raped over and over. It'll end pretty quickly. And this, I believe, is why the hacked version was created in the first place. Not only are you allowed that mental stimulation, you can have it indefinitely. It's not to destroy the gameplay of the game. It's to allow a sandbox mode for people to enjoy the mechanics of the game without the fear of losing.
Now, this is all my personal opinion. I can fully see why Zeta would not want the hacked version floating around; I've never creating anything original myself so I wouldn't know the feeling. However in my official capacity, I cannot allow the hacked version to go up because it's a direct request from the author herself, which I must respect.
