Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

I'm still extremely tempted to do what I was planning on doing earlier: make my intro post where I walk into the and completely ignore all posts before that.

Frankly, a person should get to do their own intro post as opposed to some jackass deciding they have the right to step in and play for someone else's character for no fucking reason at all.

Well technically you can pretty much ignore them, since there really hasn't been much reaction to you yet.

I do understand your feelings about that, it sure threw me for a loop as well.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

I have people throwing knives at Rashar, acting aggressively, towards him, or talking to him, all without him having stepped into the fucking room yet and the knife thing definitely would have gotten a reaction. Currently, this game is frustrating me out of my mind, so I'll probably need to take a break from this game for a day or so to calm down.

I meant beside the knife part.

Maybe we can get Shrike to rewind to before you came in because IMO that was in pretty poor taste and it's pretty much messed the mood of the game right now. We probably wouldn't have seen his face right away with the hooded rain jacket on.

Gargle bargle blah blah I vote for rewind.

Bleh, apology for the knife part, mainly as I made that post at around six in the morning without really thinking due a rush to sleep x_X;;. (Also because now that I read back on it, there's a tad too many logic flaws for my liking)

*votes for rewind as well*

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Works for me either way (keeping or pinksmoking). Apologies on my part, Phee. Even without the pre-empting, I likely would have posted similarly, given that Jack let Rashar into the room and I'd have been reacting under the assumption one looking at the door could see him. Still, I've no issue with editing to react appropriately. Your call.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

There is the fact that Rashar's face isn't obvious. He has a rain jacket on with the hood up, which would put tinted shadows across the part of his face that can be seen, not to mention that, generally, you won't probably notice anything wrong with his eyes without getting closer.

Basically, the only thing you might see wrong is that he has an abnormally large grin.

There's also the fact that Rashar would have pulled his 'talisman' from where it's hidden in his pocket to brandish at Luna if she did end up throwing the knife and given his faith that it would work against a person he would now deem as an 'agent' it would probably have an adverse affect on everyone in the room.

Which is what I realized AFTER I reread the thread :X... thus... rewind please? That and Luna having incendiary explosives on her is a tad redundant, given she was asking for weapons that would allow that in her own topic.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Chalk it up to me not realizing/considering how shaded his face was. The unnerved reaction would still defintiely be there, though perhaps not to the extent I originally wrote it as. Hopefully we'll get it square.

Also, part of it is, the only skin you can see is on his nose and chin with the forehead and what little cheeks he has being covered by the hood. Given that, since no one would have been standing next to him, the fine details wouldn't be obvious (Although even in the shade, the skin would probably look like a skin condition such as acne) so his eyes wouldn't stand out much. The only features that might be obvious from a distance are his mangled ears and the fact that his smile seems to be too wide, both facts which are hidden by having a hood obscuring the sides of his head.

Phe, please don't back out.

Keylo, please treat other players with respect and be more patient with posts. You can always do something else (like go to sleep?) and come back when more posts show up. :\ Ya can't just post something, get the person involved and the GM (and everyone else) to rewind, and call everything even, its not very polite.

/rp butthurt

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Well, I'm intending on waiting for Shrike to hop on and get this taken care of and we'll get this back on track. Again, sorry Phee.

Perhaps on a slightly lighter note, since I've started playing, my radio is constantly cropping up with Def Leppard's "Love Bites," which I am finding more amusing than I should be lately.

'Love Bites' sounds like a food item... Some sort of valentine chocolate or something.

Alright, I think the general consensus is a rewind, so Imma do that and bugger off for a bit again. Going for a bike ride with my bf, will be gone for a couple hours.

Well, it was a #1 song of theirs (apparently the only one on certain charts), but yeah, it does. I'm sure they have something like that around the eve of half-priced chocolate day...

Mmm. Chocolate. They never really talk about it, but I wonder if vamps miss food or if the craving just...goes away. Probably that, but I wonder.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

alrighty, thread is rewound, please continue.

Vampires can still eat food and taste it, it just doesn't stay down very long, so i dunno really. They'd probably miss it mentally, but not much else than that...

Thankee, Shrike. Almost put "Thanksgiving dinner" in the last post, but it's Boxing Day up north, isn't it? You'll have to forgive the poorly informed from the southern half of the continent.

Nope, It's thanksgiving, we just have it at a slightly different time, like three weeks off from yours. Boxing Day is the day after Christmas ;)

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Thought you guys had something on the day after Thanksgiving, too? Or is Black Friday just universal all over? *laughs* Figured Christmas was safe in the long run. Feel free to correct me when I forget we're in Canada for this.
