Re: The Adbot's Revenge!
Siphon slowly got up to his feet, anger swelling inside of him. He had seen the destruction of his fellow comrades, and the massive horde of bots the survivors now faced. His body was banged in dozens of places, bleeding in several, yet somehow he was still able to get to his feet. Most likely it had to do with his recent feeding, but that would not last forever. Since he had gone through most of the walls and was now practically at the edge of the building anyways, he now stood and simply stalked his way out of the building, and into the streets, leaving a trail of blood behind him. Upon reaching the area where the ground battle was occurring, he paused briefly to survey the scene.
Burrito and Grave were like whirling dervishes, and Copper wasn't far behind them. The other humans though weren't quite as lucky, and a few were taken down by shots from weapons. This only fueled his anger to see friends and family cut down like this, and suddenly the battlefield was filled with one sound above all the others.
It would take a moment for the others to realize the noise they were hearing was coming from him roaring in a defiant, enraged bellow. It lasted for nearly forty seconds, during which time even the bots themselves snapped their pathetic heads up, seeming understanding too late they had angered something they should not have. When he had stopped, he paused only long enough to grab a pair of swords that had been left behind by a fallen comrade, and with one in each hand, proceeded to lay everything he had left on the line.
He wasn't vampiric fast, he wasn't as fast as a cyborg, and he certainly couldn't lob fireballs with his hands or extend the metal of the swords past their reach, but Siphon was ENRAGED. He waded into a grouping of about fifty and simply sliced them apart within seconds, seemingly with little effort. It would also become clear, he had only one thing on his mind right now, and that was to annihilate these bots. The problem was, despite the calculated critical blows, he appeared very much to be in berserk mode, and completely uncontainable. Every so often he would let out another, ten to fifteen second roar as he had before, usually after killing a mob of enemies. During this time the bots did attempt to shoot him, but it was likely most of them were taken out by the others before they could pull their triggers. The small eventual few that did manage to get shots off quickly found their weapons to be seemingly ineffective against the enraged hybrid.
The entire time though it would be evident by the coloring of his skin and the blood spurting out, he was most definitely injured, and not lightly either.
