It's stupid.
There's a lot of bugs with the search paths they're using. I found the code that's causing the issues, and can be resolved if you just place the pictures in the right places.
Here's a solution
1: copy all of the "character" files into picture
2: copy all of the "picture" files into character
When I took off her clothes, it worked, but then when she put it back on it failed again because it was looking for a file in Characters folder again, and the file happened to be in Pictures.
I think they mixed things up. Don't know what happened when they went from dev to production.
Btw I am referring to the files in the archive, not the files outside.

I recall the game initially having the issue, its like one the profile images was misplaced into the wrong folder, its been so long though I don't recall what portrait image it was...
possibly copying every image to every other folder, will fix it (yes thats a messy way to fix it but I don't recall the exact file name, or how to find it...) think it was posted on HF maybe...

I found the bug in their project.

For some reason, the face name is being set to the wrong value. Or at least, it doesn't match with the script they're using.
I quickly printed out what the values are. The character graphics are correct, but the face graphic is being assigned one of the character graphic names.
This is a bug and not supposed to happen. You should be able to see her face in the menu, and not a character sheet.

For those who have error with RJ093179 - 天然娘の小冒険, extract the attached file into your \Graphics\Pictures folder.
Or, duplicate the \Graphics\Pictures\Actor1-1.png (into the same folder), and rename the new file to $チビローブ.png
Random rant: how could they cut the yuri scene just because they can't draw the pics!?

Then again, opinions differ, alot dont like studio OneOne1's stuff either, I do though....
yeah, that is true, their art is always exquisit, but other then that, their games alot of times dissapoint.... their previous RPG I havent played I believe, but their ninja game wasnt realy as exciting as I wished it would have been.... ^^
