I think H-games tend to have a bigger safety net.

If your game making skills suck, but you draw amazing art and can pull off epic cover art and advertisement, you're likely to get someone to throw down 1500 yen to see your characters.

And with RPG maker you don't really need programming skills, or game making skills. You just need to be able to use a little common sense, put in some time, go script shopping to add some extra mechanics, and you've got a generic hentai game that 3000 download people are willing to download.

Well, to me, all their previous games felt like playing one same game, nothing new, and art seemed like same pictures to me, nothing original...

Well, to me, all their previous games felt like playing one same game, nothing new, and art seemed like same pictures to me, nothing original...

I could read some japanese, and I can say that if you understand the storyline, utage's games are great! If you don't, I understand how you would feel like playing the same game, however at least the pictures (as far as I can tell) are not the same ones used every time. They ARE the same people in different positions though...I wonder if utage just has a hard time creating new characters?

Edit: On another note, anyone have [Utage] Princess Breaker? I have everything else [Monster hunting Miko?(the new one);Seven Prinson;Dancing Phantom;Kuongusa] for anyone (such as Starke) who might want it for completeness sake

I believe the author took the dl link down, probably cause he's working on a new update and is about to release a new dl link with another updated version of the game. So I suggest to just wait for it.

I regularly check if there's any updates about this kind of games, if something new comes up, I'll let everyone know.

and dlsite announced it too...and when its released id appreciate it if you guys didnt spread links for a month or so

for example slave island is 8 dollars per download -5% and theyre getting 4 dollars per sale... X 1765= $7060 X 0.61=£4306.60p gross profit

that's pretty good for a month or two's work...

Fine with me, but You're gonna have to do this on many threads/Forums + some uploading sites if you really want there to be no links for it. After all it's not like Ulmf is the sole distributer of hentai rpg games.

this is the only place i expect to have respect for independant designers

and if you do find a link and like it please buy the game ^^
or donations if you can't get the 12 dollars or something... that's roughly 6 dollars for me per download...feels a bit high... i'll see if i can change that later cause the options were all in jpy when i registered the product...
should only be slightly more than slave island...

azurezero: do you know whether the "downloads" counter tracks unique downloads only? Or just everytime someone decides to push "download"?

Because for example starke mentioned virgin island with 3k DL's, but virgin island also happens to have 30 updates or whatever...and re-DL's are free so if 100 people just happen to re DL 30 times...

They ARE the same people in different positions though...I wonder if utage just has a hard time creating new characters?

Maybe they deliberately use the same characters again and again to keep their fanbase.
I know if I liked a character and saw her again in a new game I'd probably buy it.

what did you think of princess escape so far then? i just got the final cutscene done, now i have a few more game overs to write


one issue...i am not skilled enough with game maker to introduce a gallery
so back up your saves often

How about just grabbing a gallery script? Those are usually plug and play, with some configuration to setup how the pictures should appear etc.
