Being a dick didn't do it, being a sonicfag was the last straw for TP.
Also, to be on topic, the reason that Showtime Rhonda 2 is definitely going to be made is that there is one major doner and several lesser doners to the game. It's being commissioned, as it were, so that it can be free for others.
Right now he's taking suggestions on which characters to put in the game. My character, Nykka, isn't going to make it in; he's apparently drawing in characters he hasn't seen much before and furries that are just obscure and appropriate for the game.
Also, he's making a primarily combat game. It will have sex, but sex wont be the point of it. In fact, if you want to play it properly, you're penalized for letting yourself get fucked. An interesting tweest.

I don't know why anyone would bother doing this. Just make a combat game, or a sex game. I mean, seriously, I'm just going to use swf player to see the sex parts and not... Scratch that, because toonpimp sucks at coding combat (if he even does that). Honestly I could go the rest of my life without playing another one of toonpimp's "games" and not feel as if I'd missed out on anything.

He has several projects going on simultaneously, including Nucleus Nine, Minju and Ogleor, Little Red Riding Hood, Showtime Rhonda 2, assumed Pixel Force which all we are waiting for is for him to finish his part, he mentioned Evil Demon Pepto where you can rape villages or some shit, Kunoichi Kaos was left dangling after one shitty episode, even though I totally liked the character, and Cracklevania 2 was cancelled, which was honestly the only promising thing he had coming. He's also got a knack for creating absolutely useless additional minigames like Miyu and Krystal as well as Kitty's Sugar Walls.
In short, most of these projects are going to take much longer than they should, be low quality as usual, wear out their fun in less than three hours, and simply not deliver.
I paid for Peach in Pepe v2. She was expensive, and he took forever to make her, an entire game sounds like it would cost a fortune. I gave him an idea before telling him that his games are not as good as he thinks they are and getting myself banned. I told him that he should make three to five quality games and put them together as he bitched about not making any money. I told him to call it a PIMPBOX, and sell a package of 3-5 games for anywhere between 10-15 bucks. Look out for it in the near future.
The jackass will use an idea I helped him with, after banning me. Douche.

Hey, good to see you again Papa. And yea, you're right. It's not that he isn't talented, because he has the drive to at least learn all this, but he IS lazy and he doesn't have any help. Even Project X is taking a team of 5 to make. (I think it went from 3 to 5?)
And yea, if i dont put more money down for Cracklevania 2, it's not being made. What really put me off is he wasn't putting in any content that I wanted. I should have axed the whole thing before it got too far and spending all that money, but some artists were nice enough to take notice afterwards and do other works of Nykka; something for which I'm extremely gracious. =3
Hopefully he could get things going. I think that if he got some people together and really made a business of it, he could support a paysite. At the least, if he was really smart, he'd make a real game with RPG elements and then translate the whole shebang to Japanese and sell it on DLsite, see if he can make some money on one of the still lucrative markets.

I pretty much live under a rock so my opinion is solely based off of what I'm seeing from this discussion.. (iow: I've never been to TP's forum, and I only know his attitude vaguely)
The way I see it, it almost seems like he's threatening not to make any good games or something if you don't pay him..
But on the other hand, nobody should complain about giving him money to do so, because he's not making you.. .. He may be threatening you to, but not making..
Though one thing I have good experience on is his games, which I've played many times, and I can say his best work is the fighting game with fifi, showtime rhonda, and cracklevania, which seem pretty complete to me from a "just want something to fap to"-gamer perspective... Even if they are for furries, it doesn't discourage me as long as it isn't too furry... (Heh, get it?.. TOO furry?.. As in too much drawn/scruffy fur?.. XD)
I honestly respect TP because he's done a few things in RoR games I've NEVER seen anywhere else.. Multi-rape.. And that automatically makes his games near the top of my faves list, regardless how "crappy" or "incomplete" they are..
Though if there are other RoR games with this feature, please PM me them, it's something I almost never see and it's a rare feature..
I don't expect any more memorable work from him, because in my opinion he peaked out after those games, and nothing he's made afterwords even seems mentionable to me, but I'll visit this thread once in a while and keep tabs on stuff just in case...

We estimated that what I payed would get it as far as it did and I simply didn't feel the value was enough to continue donating. Consider the game to have fallen short of full funding or something.
Come on, it's my money, and I dont see anyone else _MAKING A GAME FOR ME_ for a few hundred dollars. I can barely get a single flash animation for that much. In fact, I couldnt PAY people to do flash animation, it wasn't worth their time. I'll donate a little here and there, but I'm not tossing 300 bucks on the Shinobi Girl guy for him to do something he's going to do anyway. It's not getting me any of my special kinky stuff in there, any character of mine, anything. At least ToonPimp gave me a shot of it. I got my Nykka in there, people enjoyed it, and it was a little something. Even if it wasn't perfect, whatever, I'm used to being screwed. But it's harder to get your money's worth than you make it sound.

Er, actually I was referring to them putting out a second version of Marvel VS Capcom 3. ULTIMATE Marvel VS Capcom 3. Which already has two new characters announced, and more are being worked on from what I hear.
Though yeah, I am with you on Ken. I miss Megaman too. Zero isn't quite what I was hoping for in a Megaman character. :C
