To expand on the answer given, yes BUT it's not every time you class up. They get another at rank 4 and I would assume another at rank 6.

Ok I don't know who to quote so heres so general answers
Hammers:they work like mailboxes.You use one and you have 15 mins to craft those items it affects before it goes away.Soldier hammers work on Soldier weapons(Does not affect armor for the class,least thats what I'm getting from the description),but thats just class hammers.
Theres the weapon hammer that affects all weapons,Armor hammer affects Armor,and Accessory Hammer.
Awakening:Each character has 1 awakening till they hit 4 stars,then they gain another awakening slot,and it keeps going up each star,so most characters have 4 awakening slots total.5 star characters that reach 7 stars have 5 awakenings.
Promotion shards/Ores/Crystals:They drop randomly they have no place where just one class is dropped FROM MY EXPERIANCE.

That helps a lot.
Also, map 1-1 seems to have a 100% guaranteed cleric drop, and a very high chance of it being 2* too.
So basically, every time you beat it, there's a chance of 1 or 3 cleric shards per disband
Played it 10 times just now, got 5 Tina (2*), and 5 1* clerics.
But that's the only exception I've found.

Gratz on hitting lvl 50... now felt the pain of mission 7 farming (and i mean the higher sparkle recipe)
Regarding the blacksmith employee.
1 of the info in himeuta mention this:
Estimated Crafting Rates:
+1: ~11%
+2: ~4%
+3: ~0.001%
So does that mean the employee for crafting is mostly only for the bonus ? (cuz i do actualy get the 2-3 bonus alot nowday with puting my team in there *dex raging 150 / 2x archer on 250 dex 200 dex*
Btw the +3 i don't believe its that low since i got 2 x +3 gear although they are low lvl equipment...
If it is that low, how come i never got black unit in aigis base / sp gacha >.< they are about the same rate

I have mentioned before in this thread that chapter 1 stage 1 drops all 1 star,and 2 star clerics.I got them all before the recipe dropped so it made it easy.
That reminds me I need to go back and grind for 3 tina's to awaken my lvl 50 one.

Oh and on the subject of status effects, the +3 for samurai default weapon has a paralyze chance. Pretty good chance to keep them from taking their turn. Also quite cool.
I actually like them on the back line. The +2 for default weapon grants them a ranged attack that can poison. That can do significant damage. Had a rogue in my party against the chapter 3 boss in the last quest and it was hitting for nearly 400 and that's only counting the poison. May not always be amazing, but in some situations it seems quite impressive.

Silver Post box makes all employees at least ☆2 rank.
Bronze Post box has not yet been released and probably won't be.
Events may give out Limited versions of these post boxes, which have a Red glow behind them, and will disappear after the event ends.

But whether its noticable or not randomization being what it is.

I need to make like 20x to get 1 equipment +2... specialy weapon
Main reason is i want their unique atk, example: warrior laby axe +2 have 2x2 AoE 2x 0.7 dmg... i been crafting this nonstop but stll haven't got it..
Sam goes with laby wand for mage the +2 will turn the atk into whole AoE instead of 2x2, atm i got 2x +1 but no +2 at all...
Luckily laby shard is cheap material, when the time i crafting my evasion ring those fail --> farm mat --> fail is driving me crazy
