"Adventure?" The wolfgirl asked, some of the hidden threat flying over her head. Subtlety didn't seem to be her strong suit. Or thinking, as she seemed to take a moment to process what Nym was saying. Eventually, she sighed and picked up the morsel she was offered. "Fine, fine. I'll drop it. No point in fighting you anyway, you'd just kick my ass again..." She paused for a moment to bite into the food, chewing on it with contentment before swallowing. "And I guess I could follow you around. You're kinda weird, to be honest, but you seem nice." She decided. "My name's Eru. What's yours?"

"Nice to meet you Eru, I'm Nym," The redhead said with a grin as the wolfgirl ate away at the food, now she had an adventuring party! Though they would need to find some more clothes given her luck, "And I'm foreign to here, so I don't entirely know what the local definitions of weird are."

Once the wolfgirl finished eating, Nym would see if she was up for continuing the days trek, the redhead hoping to make it as far as they could today after this little distraction. Along the way she'd make small talk with Eru, asking how long she had been out in the woods, where she came from, things like that.

"Really? I think they're pretty simple to figure out. Weird is weird." Eru shrugged as she walked alongside Nym. The two of them would spend the rest of the trip to town making small talk. It turned out that Eru has been in the woods for quite a while, though she was not from these parts. She settled here after her old pack disbanded following a lost fight for territory against a stronger pack. She fled here, arguing she'd be fine on her own, and tried to make the territory hers. Not very successfully.

By the time the wolfgirl was done relating the story, it was late afternoon. The two of them managed to reach the city gate in the meantime. Up close, Saina looked quite imposing - surrounded by a tall wall of stone, with reinforced gates and bastions, it'd be a tough nut to crack. Glancing inside, the roads and buildings presented themselves quite well too. There was just one little problem - namely, getting in. "I'm sorry." The guard, clad in chainmail and armed with a halberd, shrugged. "I can't let you in in that state. It'd be against public decency laws." He explained, pointing out the fact that Eru was naked and Nym was... Basically naked too, even with what was left of the dress on.

Nym actually listened intently, surprised to learn how long the girl had been in the forest. She had thought she had been a runaway from a village or something, but she made a note to herself that wolf-person packs moved through the lands.

Then they reached the gate of the town, and their state of dress turned into a rather big hindrance, "Darn it, I'm out of spare clothes. Best I could do would be to wrap ourselves up with some of the bandages I have. Or tear this dress for scraps..."

Then she would turn to Eru and say, "Unless you know anywhere around here that we could get ourselves some clothes without being stopped at the door for indecency?"

Eru shrugged. "Not really. I didn't bother leaving the forest before." She growled. "Why's this even a problem? It's not like I need clothes to live. Let's just beat him up and move on!" She declared, glaring at the guard who glared back. Judging by the subtle shift in his posture, he seemed ready to take them on if need be and would not go down easily. Before the situation escalated further, however, another voice cut in. "Excuse me!" A woman approached the group from inside the gates. She had long, brown hair, piercing green eyes and was wearing a dark blue dress. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but overhear your discussion. Perhaps I can be of assistance?" She turned her head to look at Nym. "I'm Alice. Traveling mage and alchemist. Judging by your company and those scrapes on your skin, I'm guessing you're an adventuring type?"

"I don't think fighting the town guard would be a good idea Eru," Nym said with a very tiny exasperated feeling, though she did have to like Eru's attitude to some extent, just it needed to be directed at proper targets. Though salvation seemed to come for the two girls in the form of a female alchemist, "Nice to meet you Alice, I'm Nym and this is Eru. Also yes, unfortunately my clothes have yet to remain up to the adventuring lifestyle."

"Really? I can probably help with that... For a fee, of course." Alice chuckled. "I don't mean any offense by this, but since you don't seem to be the kind of person that could afford my services..." Or any other services, really, as Nym didn't really have any money on her - an oversight on the part of the villagers and her own. "But I have found myself in need of finding someone who could do a few simple jobs for me. My bodyguard is handling most of such tasks usually, but every now and then I find myself with many things that need to be done and not enough time or helpful hands to do them. Perhaps you'd be willing to lend me your services? I'll provide you with lodgings, supplies and fix your clothing situation as payment if you do."

Well, they did need work, but if Nym had learned one thing from games, it was that you shouldn't agree to a deal without knowing just what you were going to be doing! Nym tried to show that she was indeed interested in the work, but just doing her due diligence as she said"Well I certainly don't mind the payment you are offering, I just want to clarify what the kind of tasks will be? Things like gather materials and the like?"

"Indeed." Alice nodded, smiling politely. "Most of my matters in the town can be handled by me and Cedric, but I do need some ingredients and reagents that can be found around here. They're not rare, but I will be leaving in a few days and stopping to gather them during the trip could delay me significantly. If you could procure even one of them, I'd be in your debt." With a flourish, she waved her hand, producing a pair of long cloaks for Eru and Nym. "Here. They will last only for a couple hours, but I believe I should be able to fix your clothing troubles by then. That is, if you're interested in my offer. We can discuss further details in a private setting." She waited for a response. Eru seemed to be staring expectantly at the adventurer too, as if waiting for her to make a decision.

"Sounds good, we'll take the job," Nym said as the mage conjured a pair of cloaks. Some ingredient hunting was a perfectly fine job to be doing. Once the agreement was made, Nym would get the cloaks from Alice and passed one off to Eru, once they were clothed she would follow the mage to wherever she lead them to.

Once both Nym and Eru were properly dressed in the pair of cloaks - the guard insisted that they make sure the garments were secure, advising them to avoid trouble with patrols - the two of them were cleared to enter. Inside they were treated to a multitude of sights, sounds and smells as the city of Saina bustled with activity, with people of many races and persuasions going about their business. Humans, elves, dwarves, various animal-folk and strange, difficult to identify beings filled the streets. Alice led them through the crowds as she directed them to a place where, according to her, they'd be able to talk in peace.

Eventually, the three of them reached a large inn named "The Broken Drum". It seemed to be a fairly modest, but clean and well-tended building. Inside of it they've found patrons of all kinds, both locals and travelers, sitting around at the tables, talking, eating, drinking and having fun after a day of hard work. The mage approached the innkeeper, a large bull-man with impressive horns. "I'd like to rent a room for these two... They're with me, yes." She quickly negotiated with him before handing him some coin and directing the two girls upstairs after collecting a key.

After reaching the upper floor, Alice approached one of the doors and opened it, ushering the two girls inside. It was a large room with a single bed, large enough for two people. Various kinds of magical and alchemical equipment were placed here and there. There was also a large, imposing human in armor standing in the middle. "Girls, meet Cedric. My bodyguard. Cedric, these are Nym and Eru. They've agreed to help us with gathering materials." The man nodded his head in a silent greeting while the alchemist produced a pair of chairs. "Please sit down. We can discuss the details of your assignment here."

Nym was quickly impressed by the diversity of species here, the girl trying to mentally catalog all these species so that she could have atleast some memory of them later. The bullman run inn they ended up arriving at looked nice, much better then anything she could have afforded, which might have been an archway somewhere in the street, so she was quite fine with staying.

She was just minorly thrown off by the large armoured man in the center of the room, mostly cause she was surprised he was wearing armour even here. Still she would say, "Nice to meet you Cedric," before taking a seat, "Okay, what do you want us to search for?"

"Well then." The mage nodded, moving onto business while Cedric excused himself with a grunt and left the room. It was a little hard to understand, but he seemed to have something to do. "I'll need you to procure three things for me. First, there's a glade in the forest, right here." She pulled out a map similiar to the one Nym had and pointed at a spot near the road the girl had been traveling earlier. "You will find a specific flower growing there, Maiden's Dream. It looks like a pink, five-pointed star." She described it, showing the two girl a picture of it. "I'll need you to bring me some of it, a small baster will suffice." The alchemist handed them the container in question.

"Be careful, though. It's pollen is a potent aphrodisiac and you're likely to encounter horny animals or other beings there. They're likely to be quite mellow and won't attack unless provoked, but they will attempt to have sex with you if they notice you. You may wish to plan your approach carefully." She advised. "Your next target is on the opposite side of the city, over here." She pointed at a different spot, a large lake from the looks of it. "An undine lives there, and I'd like you to ask for a bit of blessed water from her. She may be unwilling to share it, though, so be prepared to negotiate."

Finally, she pointed at a third spot, what looked to be a swamp a bit to the north. "Finally, the last ingredient and likely the most challenging one. I've heard there's a tentacle beast that lives in the swamp nearby. I'd need you to bring me a few pieces of it's flesh. You may kill it if you want to. In fact, you might want to do that for your own safety. Just try to bring at least one whole tentacle with you, or an equivalent." Alice stated. "You probably won't have time for more than one of those each day, and you may do them in any order you wish. Altough you should hold off on leaving tomorrow: I think you caught Cedric's eye. He has a talent for finding potential and drawing it out. I suspect he'll offer you some training to toughen you up."

'Hmmmmm,' Nym thought to herself as she looked over the map, and she figured she might as well approach these going easiest to hardest. Which would mean they would start with the glade, since she wasn't likely going to have to worry about being mauled to death there, and she had no idea what an Undine might want, but she could ask Eru on what she thought they should do after they got over to their own room. For now though she was more distracted by Alice's last comment, "Well I wouldn't say no to some training, maybe then I will be able to dodge well enough or hit hard enough to preserve my modesty during a fight for once. If that's everything though, I have to admit I am rather tired, its been a rather long day, and I didn't entirely get a great sleep last night either."

"I don't think you'll be able to squeeze much out of just one day... But I think that, at the very least, he'll help you withstand more punishment in the future." Alice chuckled. "You're going to have a hard day ahead of you... But before you go. Please leave any damaged clothing you have here. I'll work on some enchantments to help you with preserving your modesty in the future, as you put it." The alchemist stood up and walked to a desk, picking up two potions. "Also, drink this. It'll speed up the healing process so you'll recover from all the bruises or scratches you may have." She handed the bottles to both Nym and Eru, who opened her drink, gave it an experimental sniff and smiled, then drained the contents. "Hey, this is the good stuff! You really are an alchemist!" The wolf-girl declared happily.

Nym would guess that if it was going to be 'withstand more punishment' training, tomorrow afternoon she was going to be very sore. Regardless though, she would root around in her bag, pulling out her damaged clothes, and the strips that remained of her dress, before handing them over to Alice in exchange for the potion. Eru downed it before Nym could even get the top off, and after the wolf-girl gave it her okay, Nym would down her own, hoping for some quick relief from the various wounds she had picked up over the last day and a bit.

Once that was done, and they were given the key for the other room, Nym would thank Alice for working on their clothes and giving them the potion, and head over to their own room. Once she and Eru were there, she would rather quickly get rid of her conjured robe and plop down onto the bed before asking the wolf-girl, "So Eru, which one of the three things do you think we should get first? I was thinking that glade as it didn't sound terribly dangerous."

"Hmm..." Alice frowned thoughtfully as she peered at the outfits. "A dress and a combat outfit, I assume... I think I know just the right thing to do." She mused to herself as Nym left the room. The one she had for herself and Eru was a bit smaller, but still large enough for both of them to move about comfortably. There was a large bed, like in the mage's room, as well as other typical inn furniture and things the two of them would need to wash up. The wolf girl regarded many of those things with curiosity, especially the mirror. Hell, ever since they've entered town she's been glancing around constantly, taking in the sights. Most likely she never had a chance like this before.

"Hmm?" The wolf girl turned her attention back to Nym, ditching her cloak without care. It was going to dissipate in a few hours anyway. "The glade? I actually saw it once. Pretty easy, yeah, but if we just both go in then we're gonna be seen. And either we're gonna have to fight, probably upsetting a lot of things depending on what's in the glade at the moment, or we're gonna have to fuck until we run out of partners to mate us before we can gather the flowers. Assuming something doesn't cart us off to fuck us later." She sat down on the bed, looking contemplative. "Maybe we could figure something out that'll help us gather them or avoid being seen, though."

"Hmmm, so it would be better to just send one of us in?" Nym said as she went over what Eru said, "not sure how we could make gathering it easier, unless we could make a really long stick to hold it, but maybe we could hide ourselves better. Though I would guess that we'd need something to hide our scent too if there is a bunch of animals around."

Then Nym sat up beside Eru, and jokingly said, "Or we just throw one of us in there, the other waits till all the creatures are distracted and gets the stuff, and makes sure to rescue whichever one of us is bait if they get carted off. Though we should probably save that for if we have absolutely no ideas."

"Well, with all the pollen around, being seen is more of a problem than being sniffed out." Eru shrugged. "The smell of that flowers is pretty strong. We could try masking ourselves with something, though. It might help." The wolfgirl paused, thinking. "And actually, using a decoy is not a bad idea, I think. Question is, which one of us is going to be it?" She looked at Nym, seriously considering the possibility. "I mean, we'd probably want someone who can fuck a lot of mates at once, or in a row. Or has good stamina, at least. Mine's pretty decent." She puffed her chest out, bragging with pride. "But hey, if you want to do it, why not? I can gather the flowers while you're rutting, if you can take it that is."

"Hmmmm," Nym said as Eru took her bait plan seriously, and the idea kinda hung in Nym's head a bit, then she gained a sly grin, "Well you are probably stealthier then I so might be better with me as the bait.

Though you know? I also remember a certain wolf girl who was threatening earlier to make me her bitch, I've won for who gets to be incharge during the day, how about we have a competition for who gets to be at night? Winner also gets to decide who has to be the bait?"

Nym couldn't help herself, she was in a game and her normal moral compunctions toward such things were a bit harder to bring to bear against her own mind. It didn't help that she was a submissive, and every time she had thought that over in her head it sent a small tingle through her.
