I have a large and active friend list, but its full of piranhas, so I still have to scratch and claw for boxes.

Woot, just became the 19th person to hit 500,000 points and claim Yuzu Kudo. Do you guys still think she's going to be one of those "Only the top 1% of people can get her" sort of cards, or do you think more people will be able to get her now that Radars are being handed out more frequently (via the pink boxes)?
Cuz I gotta' tell ya', I don't really feel all that much like a 1 percenter.

50k is less than 3600 a day if you participate every day of the event and a lot of people who were "hardcore" during EG or Coliseum are taking this event rather leisurely. I think anyone who really wants to get to 50k can.

also, I'm not seeing any evidence that radar attracts bosses

I've gotten some bosses, it's about the same rate as without radar, so it doesn't "attract" them, just spawns them when they should be.

I never said you claimed to be, I just had evidence confirming you're a piranha.

No idea, wasn't paying attention to them since after 99 it just says 99+. So I finished using the last of them to check but no boss spawn within the last 15.

Does anyone have an opinion on what a better use of money would be when it comes to radars and glasses?

Should you buy both which comes out to 6.50 for 6 radars and 6 glasses, or just pour it all into radars which would get you about 24 radars for 6.50.

By money I can only assume you mean buying it from the shop for points. My advice to you would be neither, your $$$ would be better used to buy event gacha tickets for 100 points each. You can get 1 per day in the 1 per day set section, so 6 of those would be 6.00, with a good chance at getting an event card for a higher multiplier if you have card reveals to check for them.

Radars are free from boxes so no point buying them. Glasses only help you get through the end stages, so technically they don't increase your bouquet count.

If you get one of the event multiplier cards from gacha you can save remaining tickets if you have them for next event. Card bonuses multiply based on type, so 1 N R and SR would give you a huge multiplier. Even just an N+R or N+SR is a significant increase.

well, glasses can be used as a card reveal during bouquet spins, but that'd be a colossal waste, imo (at least til you get to Area 200+ EX)

I'd consider it a waste even at area 200. Consumable vs potential card, card always wins for me. Then again I guess it varies person to person.

I only recommend glasses during bouquet chances if the event is winding down to the last hour or two, and you need a last-second surge of points to clear a certain point threshold before time runs out (making rank, getting the 50k point card, etc.).

As for the post I made about it WAAAAAY back when. It's mostly about the effort you put in. It takes a lot longer to spend stamina at lower points, so if you don't have much time, then sure move on ahead. Comparison between my two accounts was a 2 day account that stayed behind vs a 4 day account that didn't.

You've tested this thoroughly, but honestly that 10k extra SED is temporary only. I give you that if you stay back you do get a temporary boost. However, let's say one month down the line it'll hardly make any difference.

And strict minmaxing aside, my subjective opinion is that this grinding kinda kills the fun of the game. You won't really get new cards (after all you'll complete less missions while grinding this way), you don't progress with the storyline and so forth. It's just boring grinding. Which is the same reason why I've dropped Lord of Valkyrie.

ok, just firsthand saw that radar count did indeed go down when a boss spawned, but my observation is that boss encounters are no greater when using radar than without

I'll agree with you on the grinding part, hence why I didn't keep the second account, but the difference was more than 10k because the second account didn't spend any N or R Wild Cards, whereas my main account did.

As for progressing, there's just the 3 stages, after that you're endlessly grinding on the bonus wheel, it just happens to be more efficient to do said grinding on each individual stage. It's more or less similar to LoV in that regard, just with more events. Major difference would be not having to deal with a limited inventory which is more or less the only reason I quit LoV.

Because of exploration, I got to the point where I ran out of equipment inventory because of all the different upgrades I had waiting for a piece to increase further. Damn those accessories taking up even more space.

I've played it for quite a long time by using my gift cache as extra inventory. But the constant soulless grinding, and the fact that if I didn't want to make my SR cards utterly useless, it took about 2-3 weeks of grinding to unlock a single scene... yeah no, even I have better things to do with my time.

Because of exploration, I got to the point where I ran out of equipment inventory because of all the different upgrades I had waiting for a piece to increase further. Damn those accessories taking up even more space.

It was card inventory that killed it for me, especially after all the beach variations that came out during the summer gacha. I know the expectation is to buy expansion slots, but I was already getting bored of the grind before that point anyway.
