hm before Arisu came the reward for 500-1000 was in R cards not SR, think they messed up there when they added the new table of rewards, but it's just a guess :x

Judging by the wording of their latest facebook post (in which that new egacha cards will "retain their effect throughout the event"), I'm more inclined to believe that tower will be the next event.

I've never played the jp version myself (so someone who has will have to verify for me), but as I understand it, the "slayer" cards directly apply a multiplier to the points you receive (as opposed to your SED during elite guard).

This is correct. The points are used for ranking, but don't have a direct effect on climbing the tower, so you can still get the 100/200 floor prize cards without spending a dime.

What I don't get is why there are six slayer cards when they insist that all of the cards will keep their bonuses for the entire duration of the event. There's typically only five slayer cards per event, three for higher bonuses and two for lower ones, with an arrangement of two SR, two R, and one N. However, I recognize both the ones on the ends of the Facebook image as N cards in the JP version.

I can't wait to see how the English version goes off the rails on this one. Because, you know, that's worked so well in the past.

I'm starting to think that the JP Devs in charge of the English language version are using it as a testing ground for some changes that they wanted to introduce into the JP version. Whether or not it's the same devs as the JP version, they'll probably not introduce any of the changes we've seen thus far, what with all the push back we've seen. I mean, unless they're making more money, but I somehow doubt that they are.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind seeing an event with six slayers in it. If this was a testing ground, that's more the sort of thing I'd expect to see.

When you spin a random encounter, the enemy will have a certain number of focus points they will require to be defeated. You have to spend this many focus points to beat the enemy, regardless of your SED.

When you defeat the enemy, you get either a key or a box equal to the strength of the enemy you defeat (pink, silver, or gold). If you get a box it goes on a list where your friends will see it. To open it, a friend has to have a key of the matching rarity and you can both get a prize from that box. If it's not opened, the box times out and no one gets to have it.

In the JP version, keys can also be bought alongside gacha tickets. N tickets will have pink keys, R tickets come with silver tickets, and gold keys are packed with event gacha tickets.

Prizes can range from coins to wild cards to N and R tickets, and there's usually one SR card that can be found in the boxes until the event ends.

one last question if you know: how exp-efficient is tower?

Horrible like EG (1:3), bad like GHQ (3:4), neutral like exploration (1:1) or good?

Varies. In the beginning it was bad (1:2), but some of the tower events became 1:1 until the second half started where it then reverted to 1:2, and now most events in the JP version give big 2:1 payouts for exp. It's been kinda goofy.

For now, I'm going to assume we're going to get 1:1 until the event actually kicks off.

Tower is actually sounding fairly entertaining, my only worry is they will find SOME way to completely fuck it up (much like they have done thus far).

Bouquets are the replacement chance mode on spinning, keys you get the same way as briefcases, except a lot rarer.

Also I just got some radars from the pink box, they're automatically consumed as you spin, so you can't choose when to use them.

There's supposed to be keys within the shop. With every gatcha ticket you buy you are supposed to get corresponding key. Pink keys are supposed to come with Pink Gatcha tickets. There's always war going @DMM for pink boxes which disappear within seconds.
We? We only got gold keys in shop somehow.

Why? Why every event I feel like they are trying to find some way, any way to shun progress or otherwise cheat players out of more money than default PPS is made for?

Oh, and you can keep your radars for later. Just click on radar icon in upper right corner during exploration, it will go grey and they will not activate.
