Through conversations with the Japanese Devs we came to the agreement that the parameters we chose were acceptable and comparable to the JP system. Either way, I will address the User concerns to the team and discuss some future tweaks.
So this is actually normal system for events? Lol.

@any DMM player: How about future events? Any improvements?

In regards to those commenting on the higher level bosses having 8.7 mill and higher SED;

This Event is using the same parameters as the same event in the JP version. . For the second half of the event, as done in the JP version, each boss over level 100 now also uses this formula as well:
Boss HP = 8700000 + (Boss' Lv - 101) * 10000

The EP you gain depends on the damage you do, so you are rewarded appropriately for taking down these high level bosses.

Can you confirm that 8.7 million HP was intended for bosses at level 100+ during the first half of the event?

So you are saying it worked as inteded, and this annoucment about revorking it and compensating players was just wrong choice of words? :p
They did fix a bug. The bug was that bosses over level100 were stuck at 8.7 million. They fixed that so it gets harder and harder like it is supposed to, and won't stick on 8.7 million.

Boss lvl 99 less than 1mil HP, boss lvl 100 8.7mil HP, thats not scaling its magic. :rolleyes:

Are you sure there isn't an extra zero in that equation somewhere? I'm pushing the two-year mark on DMM's version of PPS and 8mil+ HP enemies for this type of event usually don't come around until they're at around Level 800.

It just seems very unusual for 8.7mil+ HP to be considered the norm, especially this early in the game when no one's SED is nearly that high, even with full slayer cards.

It is JP dev. team's American Dream. That Americans got nothing better to do other than throw hundreds of dollars at puddings. Joking aside, it is common practice for Korean and Japanese games (mostly MMOs) to become nothing other than cash grab once they are ported to USA. Not all of them, but many, many many. Hope it is not the case here.

Time is irrelevant. Heck, a person could knock out a 300mil opponent in under a minute on the JP version, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily the norm.

My response was probably not that clear. I meant that people were killing them with friends since it's pretty easy with the pink potion and enough friends.

The only way I could see this getting a pass from anyone is from the fact we apparently aren't getting ultra bosses. The ultras get a big boost at level 100 and maybe someone decide to give that to the regular bosses since we only get those. Still seems like an odd decision no matter what.

I still remember. 1k, 3 k, 5.5 k.... 330k, 550k, 1550k then suddenly 8700k. I never face anything between 1500k-8500k... but now I face 10450k.

Smells fishy to me... is it just a bug that's too problematic to fix so now its a "feature?" Seems like you'll occasionally get a lvl 100+ boss that is actually working as intended that will have less than 8m health. And those are the bosses we were actually supposed to be getting.

Pretty much what i think. Why else would we go from "sry guys, fixing shit, will compensate players after we are done" to "works as intended, buy them puddings" :p

I think the normal bosses getting more hp is what they meant by "fixing" the event since clearly they didn't have enough yet. I haven't seen any 30 minute bosses yet though, and it's 1 hour 40 minutes from being the 7th here.

Nordland (Nutaku representative) said a page or so back that there aren't lightning bosses this event, since the first JP event of this type didn't have them either.

Sounds like Gromelon and our other folks here with experience on DMM don't go quite that far back.
