I'm trying to save as mentioned in here, but I get some option that's preventing me to attack enemies. What's the proper way of saving the game?

Updated with new above information. Added in a menu tip part from Byzantine2014's first post.

Tips:
Press M for menu.
Status
Skillsets. Just select highest.
Items
Equipment
?
Options. Middle option of submenu to save.
Shop menu:
Exit
Repair Clothing
Rest
Buy Items
Teleport to town
C for special attack, better than default attack.

1st Town:
First: Tutorial Guy - Press buttons and talk to him until he stop having the red exclamation mark.
Second: Guy to left and up from tutorial guy - Kill 10 Goblins
Third: Kill Red-eyed dogs that appear at night. Head east then take first path south.
Fourth: Boss - Cerberus - Take path to north-ish, it'll swing south, boss'll be around here (on the way to 2nd town).
Fifth: Talk to speedy farmer in south park of town. Follow path to 2nd town and talk to shopkeep.

2nd Town:
1st: Kill 20 Red tentacles
2nd: Red-eyed creatures at night
3rd: Boss (worm?).
Talk with NPC below shopkeeper to advance to 3rd town.

3rd Town:
1st: Kill bees or dogs
2nd: 10 red eyed goblins at night
3rd: Bird boss and forest maze. I haven't verified which one works, but the mountain path seems to be the most reliable.
Method 1: Southeast, Southeast, Southeast Northeast, keep that way and then Southeast, Bridge-East, Boss
Method 2: Climb mountains to north 2 times to reach the Eagle. Then walk northeast until you see blue flying birds.
To next town: Back to maze - SE three times then follow east.

4th Town:
1st: 10 red eyed goblins at night
2nd: 2 green mermans on south lake, pains in the ass. You need to be level 25 to do more than 1 damage with special (C) attack.
3rd: Southeast till you find a bridge. Jump off the bridge into water. Head north till you see purple mermen and octopus boss.
Probably talk to someone to go to 5th Town

5th Town:
1st: Kill orcs
2nd: Go and talk to guy at the Mountain Post
3rd: Kill Orc Warrior. Then go SE from the room it was in. Follow this path till you reach a cave and talk to shopkeeper.
This allows you to teleport there.
While not a quest, first thing you need to do is kill 2 bosses (Bird and Orc Warrier), these are both a lot stronger and have little red

goblins with speedy ranged attacks.
Advance through the cave until you reach a castle. Go upstairs and then northeast till you see a door. Go north for the bird boss then

south for the orc warrior boss.
After they are killed, you can open a door and kill a lizard warrior boss or more likely be killed. At half health uses a skill that does

damage over time and stacks.
After you kill it, enter the door and go east. Talk to a shopkeep and save. East of that skopkeep is the log off portal where you will

fight the final boss.
It is kirito, something about a virus I think someone mentioned.

Maryel, who provided much of this information, had to farm until lvl 45 to beat it.

Hey, just do this and it will save.

Press "M". You will see a menu pop up on the top left corner of your screen.

Use the arrow to go down to the bottom option and press "Z" (your attack key)

Then, you get another menu, the middle option is the save option, scroll to it and press "Z" again.

Now you will see text pop up in the center of your screen, just press enter from that point and you will hear a little sound. That's the save point

Oh, from the dlsite page game description there's now a link to the dev blog:

You must be registered to see the links

as well as an update on the 8th I didn't even notice. Apparently, some bug fixes and more options (I think turn Kirito off, better camera controls/zoom, more H) as well as a gallery area.

If whoever has it could post the update that'd be awesome, otherwise I might purchase and upload in a few days.

Btw ' 3' apparently his latest post (on the 10th) mentions that after clearing the game, in first town there'll be 2 portals to the upper-left?

Hm... Not in the left hand portion of one of the fields in the first town? If not, either didn't make a new game plus, not correct version, or the Dev/translator has their version mixed. That's odd... Oh well, won't be able to try it anyway for a while.

The author's post mentions version 1.02 and below to not save inside omake room (1.10 and after is ok) ' .' so it should be there since the beginning...

ok i noticed the problem IS NOT ON NEWGAME+ is to load the last save you did before finish the game. of course you must have already finished the game and unlocked newgame+ but portal doesnt appear on new game + since it counts like new game

i had to FINISH all game again on newgame+ and load savefile before fighting last boss again after i finished game again and now there are the 2 portals in 1st town

Would it be possible to get a save file? Or is that not possible with Unity? It is taking for ever to beat this game and cheat engine isn't working. I seem to be able to locate the variables I want but freezing them does nothing.

CheatEngine is working(tried it for fun).
Stamina is a 3 digit value, something between 250 and 300(around 28lvl), so try looking for values from 100 to 300. Health is more tricky, since it's something about 15-17 records(same values). Can't figure which one to change, so just copy them all and freeze/change all. For 776hp it's 1145176064, for 244hp it's 1131675648. As you can see, they're 10 digit value, so it's more than enough to find the right ones in 8-12 moves For other values(exp, money, armor), I didn't even bother, since they seem to be connected to some other, unknown value(maybe the main value is no longer 4bytes?) and they just keep turning back. HP and stamina is more than enough I think.

Still, I'm joining to the request. It seems something bugged in my game and octopus boss in 4th town isn't showing up(finished 2 quests, talked to people in town but it's not doing anything in this matter). It's supposed to be near the purple merpeople, right? :

Still no red eyed dogs.. I don't know. I give up on this game. Maybe my computers messed up.

Edit: Finally got those guys to spawn.. now where the heck are the red-eyed enemies in the desert??

It might surprise you, but I could finish this quest just by killing random monster a few times during a day!And no, I'm not talking about red tentacle quest. I've never even seen red-eyes on the desert, so maybe you should just randomly slaughter anything for some time?

Hey, I don't know if you found your way yet or not but if not I'll give you my insight.

The next town is east from where you fought the boss. What I did was fight it and went back to town to heal. Then I went back to where I fought it. From there you want to continue on the underwater path going -> whenever possible. Sometimes you need to go north (^) in order to be able to go right.

Eventually you will come to land again and see a path, follow it east until you find the village.

I'm willing to mega the 20 DLsite games I have purchased as a trade
