Is anyone interested in a voice actress?

Hey there, I've been playing some adult games and have been interested in lending my voice to some of them if anyone is up for that sort of thing. I'm not sure if this is the right place for it or if there's another forum or site which would be better, but I figure I'll give it a shot.

While I don't have any specific demo reel type thing going, I do have audio files I recorded of me playing with myself and describing fantasies I have which can be found here: hxxp://soundgasm.net/u/Brooke

I've posted these online off a subforum of Reddit which deals in such things and have gotten over 10,000 listens so apparently people like what they hear, so it got me thinking that maybe people might like me to voice characters in their games? While the audio quality is not amazing, I've done test recordings which are vastly cleaner and easier to hear with no background noise. I just didn't here because I was obviously sort of busy paying attention to other things

Hi there! I was thinking about asking some friends from GWA if they'd like to participate once my game is further along in development. (I've done scriptwriting for a few people there before.) Surprised to see that someone from there already knows about this forum.

If you want to get into erotic voice acting, my recommendation is to grab an erotic game that you like and try recording some lines and sounds for a scene or two from it to show off your interpretations and any voice range you have.

If you're not so much into voice acting - more just making sexy sounds - then I think azure is right.

well, real sex noises hardly sound arousing to me, except when i have a connection to that person...but with actual voice acting it's kinda nice, since4 the function is different...i like the idea that someone sat down and tried to fake a moan to arouse people...a lot more than the idea of recording masturbation

edit - my think was i probably cant afford to pay someone to voice a character, and that i would be able to purchase a voice pack becaue the price is split

The voice in the recordings sounds a tad bit too soft, and it's probably a good idea having a shorter audio file to get a quick glimpse of what you can do.

Only thing I'm really wondering is if you're doing this for fun or for money, but it's probably not my business and I shouldn't even ask like that in the first place.

I'm stating the obvious here: there's the distinct possibility that vishru and ms_Brooke are entirely different people. I'm not saying that this is necessarily the case, but the game maker should take care to verify such things.

Since you're on ULMF, it would be cool if you'd do one of the games made by an independent dev. Maybe try Harem Collector? It's pretty easy to get through and you can activate sexual content easily. It's written in a script-like format, so that might feel familiar to you.

This is much more better than Mozart , every morning when you wake up is a healthy touch , I believed that my crazy neurons were all burned, for the stupid things I say, but you reactivated them hahhhah.

Anyway as azurezero suggested, I also suggest you to create a packages with recordings and perhaps update them slowly.
You could create a package modern/futuristic and a medieval one.

And every time you will work for someone you will request to add these sounds to your package (I think no one would complain).

This allows you to reduce costs and gain more, because indipendent game maker would never pay asset more than their full game and practically you'll be able to sell the assets to infinity.

The license may be one like the unity assets, you can use and edit the assets in any project you want to commercialize, but you can't sell the package alone as an asset.



The extra requests will then probably be for the video or the discussion in the game, with a typical tariff should be 0.05 cents per word, that you can still use in the packages that you sell (when you created them once).


P.S. For assets you should focus much more on the sale of packages to many people than on selling to individual, the only thing is that you have to keep the same level of quality and tone to make the package homogeneous.

Fair enough, but I think this would be pretty easy to find out if I submitted a totally different sounding recording of something when the opportunity arose!

Ah. Actually, now that I think about it, you could do some voice packs for Super Deepthroat. I guess that's not really the same as VAing for an official thing in some H-game but hey.

As far as I know there's been basically no one using the voice clip capability SDT added, even though that was ages ago. Unfortunately, there probably wouldn't be a lot of load to it though - just a buncha choking noises, moans, gags, coughs, and probably a couple sexy lines or so.

Check shit out around here if you're interested, I guess. There ought to be some dudes there that can handle the technical shit of putting it together, so long as you provide voicing. Talk with them to find out what you'd need to record I guess.

Anyway, I ordered a brand new Yeti mic which should be here this Saturday and I'm super excited about it so expect something by the end of the weekend!

I'm not at a development stage where I'm ready for audio, but like most other games on here I've got a female protagonist. Having authentic erotic audio voice work would be extremely valuable. I'd pay for it too. I'll stay tuned.

Depending on your appearance, you might be perfect for a career in silent film.

I jest, but all kidding aside it's rather obvious that you have a very sexy voice, but have never studied voice acting. That's nothing to be ashamed of--there are very few people to whom voice acting comes automatically. Even the great Mark Hamill had to really work at it to nail his Joker voice (the best Joker voice of any Batman, IMO, hands down). Kind of remarkable if you remember the infamous "power converter" line from the original Star Wars movie.

At any rate, my advice to you if you're actually interested in this kind of work would be to look into some voice acting lessons. You might also consider watching some female cartoon characters to get ideas about how to use your voice to convey various emotions.

I apologize if this came across as unduly harsh, but bear in mind that actors and actresses have to develop very thick skins to get through scores of auditions and rejections every year.
