Doing Dragon Hunting for dunno how many time........
You'll get 5400 Gold , dunno if any map get more than that

Drop also good , been feeding My Mages and Witches with it's copper mage drop
Probably already 2M now , if I'm not combining some units

As for Nanaly , maybe You can try Premium summoning
Her rates are up , still need to be Lucky. Good Luck~

Is War of Magic doable without cost reduced Calliope? Is the +5 from the shop enough?

I've got maxed Cloris, maxed (unreduced) Calliope, maxed and reduced Odette, maxed Mehlis. What else should I be adding to make it happen?

I can tell you it will not with +5UC alone you'd still need a two mincost Calliope, but with the +30% Ranged attack buff you might manage if Cloris is 100% and 60CC with Calliope 100% 50CC, I do not know if you'll make it with out another witch but you could experiment.

But I tried several times before the patch, with the +5UC(only) and cloris and calliope do not have enough damage by themselves to kill the wolf you need to pass.

I passed once I got the +30% ranged damage buff, after that its up to experimenting, I had a second 30CC Calliope and Mincost CC70 Odette when I passed but I don't think I needed quite that much firepower.

Three-starring War of Magic required that I had max skill Belinda to reach the wolf stragglers. I still needed the +5, the 30% ranged buff, and two mincost Calliopes to slow down the initial rush.

Second wave was cake though, even if I used Despara to two-shot everything. A high-level Cloris and maybe another Calliope would probably have been enough instead.

Yes but you will need other plat/black (or fully leveled and fully CR'ed silver/gold) units to do so.
Biggest thing about any of them is you will need at least a couple of them fully CR'ed.
As to the mages, the stage can be cleared with out a single mage.
The hard part of it is before you could even think about getting a mage out.

With buffs you no longer require min cost Calliope, but you might need to have her to at least 12UC don't know if 13UC would work.

You must wait until 12UC to use her to make sure she targets the lower left wolf though if you drop her earlier at 11UC she will target the north wolf.

Made a video of a second play through once you get past that first wave you have more freedom in what to drop as the extra units.

Guess so, just suppose the mentality has changed as of late.
Most people wouldn't buy the buffs previously unless they felt they "just had to". Granted it's cheaper now, only 2 more for the whole set compared to the single before.

Passed it and only went back once for the video, which I deleted since it got nothing but negative responses. So don't think much about the missions anymore unless I want to farm for diamonds or the like.

With the buffs now you can actually pass it without having multiple Calliopes or Belinda, making it much easier once your at the level of having maxed units.

Personally I just wanted to get past it so I could start farming some black fairies so I can start leveling those units up.

I should make my own video and get some angry comments too.

Out of crystals and need to make some headway into the next bunch of challenges first though, before the buffs run out (although, do any of the later challenges *really* benefit from range buff that I can't just cheese with Nanaly?).

Maybe I'll cash for a few more crystals at some point.

You'll have to test obviously, but it could make a big difference for both Dwarfs and Giants maps. Healers can't reach the center to heal normally. Archers can after CC but only for a small sliver of it.

Something worth trying any ways. Let us know.

Thank God I just 3 starred War of Magic. 80 CCed 100% affection Despara with 4/5 ability and -1 CR. 46 CCed 100% affection Cloris. Had the range buff and +5 unit cost bonuses up. Dropped Despara in the middle left and held Cloris a bit and dropped her bottom right. I found if I dropped Cloris right away she fires at the wrong target, but holding her for 2-3 seconds she kills off the wolf heading towards the exit. So glad that's over with.

i did it with calliopes and the gold witch you all get. 2 of my witches were cost reduced by 1.

definitely don't need the new buffs to beat it. (just the extra UC)

I have three Bernas, so I figured I'd try and cheese the center road of those maps with her first.

Went through the same hell with Dwarf Battle too, though that was more of a lack of UP. Not sure how bad the rush is on those maps.
