Thanks for the tips! It's encouraging to know that I can get pretty far into the game being only F2P. I believe I've been managing all my resources correctly so far as I've only spent my crystals on Premium Summons. Also, I've been making sure to spend all my charisma right before leveling up.

There's already been more than a few times where I've felt compelled to spend money on this game. I've been able to stay disciplined and hold back though. I think in the end, I'll come out feeling more fulfilled having beaten the game without any sort of P2W.

Thus far, this game really feels like it did F2P the right way =]

Just an advice from a f2p don't waste your SC on Premium gacha its a trap with a 50% chance to get only silvers, save them and use them on events to get a good unit and if we ever get the increase in daily drops like in jp. to farm DC or tin cans.

As Sisulart said, do not spend too many Crystals on rolls, they're a bad deal, you got Liana so be happy with her and start hoarding, a lot of free players reroll accounts until they get a Black or a good pair of Platinums, so you're in a pretty good position already.

Premium rolls are a luxury and Crystals should be saved for when you have a large amount of them(100+, seriously) and when a unit appears that you really, really want.

Also, if the event have none units of interest for you in the premium (like the next, for me), hold them until you see a event with something good. Since you're starting now, probably some gold/platinum/black units would be better for you to catch than they're for us, so you don't have to spend a lot of future time with weak units, like I'm doing with my silver mages and healers. Also remember you can purchase some using the demon crystals, so you always can have a good archer (Spica) if you're with bad luck in the rolls trying to catch an archer.

164 and staying here. I'm well aware I'm within level up range, but I just can't bring myself to farm our maps anymore. I know my levels will start jumping if/when they implement the map auto-clear, but farming DH or IB is soul-draining. I'd rather work on my DMM account Aigis (97 there already and have all the event units since I started).

A week? I thought the event was starting in 3 days on the 8th? Did I misread something from the devs? o:

It is starting on the 8th unless something unfortunate happens over the next few days. What I meant by the 'week' comment is that they have roughly a week to try to level up their team and attempt the event maps to obtain one or more copies of Odette since this event will last a week.

They are asking on Facebook about favorite events, since they are doing events again soon. I suggested doing an event run from the beginning to present.

Pretty sure they're just asking what everyone's favorite event so far was. Don't think they're doing revival events any time soon yet.

Ran IB from 166-167, never again. That maps requires entirely too much attention to be 3 star'd.

So I got lucky again and rolled a Samurai unit through the Premium Summon Machine. I was so happy until I noticed she didn't have a portrait or display picture lol. Her name is also just simply "Samurai."

Has anyone else encountered this bug before? And if so, how were you able to fix it? I attached a few screenshots of the occurrence. Restarting the game or my browser didn't help.

This is shizuka, as far as i know she should appear as spotlight unit in tomorrow event. this is bug it seems - so probably will fix itself after maint

This is shizuka, as far as i know she should appear as spotlight unit in tomorrow event. this is bug it seems - so probably will fix itself after maint

DH is by far the easiest map to farm. You only have to place two low cost units to 3 star it and then you can just leave it:

IB is an absolute pain because of the intense micromanagement at the end. I usually grind RV3 since that gives the best results overall. Not the best at anything, but gives decent gold, exp and units. But since RV3 needs 4 units to beat, it's more of a pain to grind it, so I used DH lately to save some time. DH isn't as good as RV3 when it comes to levelling units (which is my main issue, considering that I have 2+ million gold and levelling up just means more grinding), but the hell with optimization at this point I'm just sick of RV3. Tuesday can't come soon enough.

That actually work to most samurai not only shizuka
Well i guess sakuya might be abit disadvatage cuz she have lower base atk, need to time her skill real well for heavy armour.

That map was Noel AW map 2nd last map (noel branch) so i guess we can say high-tier...
