Also welcome Nordland. If you ever happen to see myself and Xovian having a discussion hit the deck. We are normally on opposite sides, and are both pretty adamant in our positions. I considered it a bad omen when we are ever on the same side though.

*Goes back trying to figure out how to do War of Magic with Adele, Cloris, Calliope, and Bellinda*
I managed with 15 UC Bellinda, 10 UC Calliope, and 11 UC Calliope + the UC boost buy. I still consider this map the only real Pay2Win map, not because of the map itself, but because it blocks any free player from having a daily farmable source for black fairies.

wait, pero is gonna remain censored? i understand hellfire girl because it's real girls and the japanese dont usually keep the original works since it's illegal.

but pero you just have to give it the aigis and taimanin treatment dont you? i assume it's going to bring in money with how popular it is in japan. so hiring someone shouldn't be to difficult.

that's just my ignorant thoughts of course. i'm sure a lot goes on in the background and could make it difficult.
It's a question of the format the files were delivered in.

To put it simply, it is not just a matter of removing a layer in photoshop. We really want to get it uncensored and hopefully, if there is enough interest, we'll be able to do this.

Eh I bought the boost to see how close I was, but it seems the wolf I lose at gets away with a sliver of health. I'm hoping max leveling my Bellinda (which I have the armors for. They were suppose to be for maxing out Chydis, but ya) will be enough to get my through it.

Do you know if there are currently any plans or is planned for a future date, that we get some unique content?

Prior to release there were hints we may eventually have unique units or content, to date we have not see any. Is this something the Devs have on the table, or has their recent changes (our own pace) made this unlikely to occur or something we could expect soon?

one last questions for girls hellfire. are the long load times server side or player side? switching browsers doesn't really help and sometimes for a little while the load times between menus are non-existant, but for the most part the loads are pretty long with many disconnections.

Unique events or characters are still up in the air. There will definitely be some unique character art.

That's 100% on our side. There wasn't enough scalability at launch, and combined with the unexpectedly large interest in the game, our server capacity failed. You should have seen a big improvement in playability today, and that will continue to improve in the coming week as we scale the infrastructure to match demand.

Thanks for the update. I'm guessing the unique art is for the loli's which we've expected. Am glad to hear, event/character wise, it's something that may still come about at some point.

1) Since the player-base has made it relatively apparent that (At least among those vocal enough to voice concern) we're opposed to skipping events and will request them whenever they're skipped wouldn't it be easier to just relay to the JP Development team that we don't want to miss any content rather than having to always submit an individual request for each missed event?

2) The Japanese version of the game has milestone events like Gold Rush to commemorate things like # of players on the game, obviously since we're a smaller market we can't reach those same numbers. Has there been any discussion with the JP Devs as to what milestones are acceptable for the NA playerbase or if we'd ever see these events?

3) White Witch Cloris is a tutorial unit for us, but in the JP Version she had her own event/Revival event. As a result of this Cloris is basically fundamentally worse than she is in the JP version of the game - are there any plans or way you could request the JP developers to fix this? It's basically an unnecessary handicap.

Trust me when I say that the entire Nutaku team really, really wants this sort of content to happen, second only to greater event frequency. But while we can petition for it, it's not our game.

The direction that English Aigis takes is still very much undefined, and getting those "top level" features like unique characters and events depends on us bringing in more players. If we manage to meet or surpass the current expectations then there's a good chance that the type of changes you want to see will happen.

1) The devs have decided to customize the event schedule according to their own logic. This is most likely due to some events being more successful than others in the JP version.

2) That's a good question and I'll pass it along.

3) Questions like this were submitted in the Q&A session. The short response was basically 'they're looking into it'.

- Removing censorship is a serious investment, it will directly depend on the popularity of the games.
Just an idea, what if you did some sort of crowdfunding campaign for each game to get them decensored?

The demand for the games will go up when decensored, and if you can quickly get the upfront costs payed for, it would likely get you more money in the long run, particularly if you do the crowdfunding beforehand and have it decensored immediately at launch. Your marking push and number of people trying out the game and forming their lasting first impressions will likely be highest at that point.

The campaigns would also give you an early gauge for how much interest there is in the game, so it could help you avoid the troubled Hellfire Girls launch without overpaying on infrastructure too much.

You could even cut out the middleman and just crowdfund it like "If Nukatu players buy x amount of gold, in y time frame, z will be decensored". Only problem I see with that is that there wouldn't be a neutral counter of money to be sure when threshold is reached.

Yep, it does mention that but I'm pretty sure that line is specifically referring to her nipples.

I just pictured Aigis featuring popular western artists' works, like Akabur or Sakimichan, among many and it was glorious (I know it won't happen, but you can't stop me from dreaming, dammint!).

I just want to chime in and say that I appreciate the candid transparency, at least from Nutaku's side. The JP devs on the other hand...

Yeah, I know... I'm particularly fond of Hisahiko and the guy that draws Lyla and wouldn't want to see them go away. I'm serious when I say that I'd love some original designs from different artists from all over the world though, variety is the spice of life, y'know? That said you needn't fear, I'm well aware that I'm a singular minority.

In some ways I agree with this, but it would largely depend on the artists' willingness to do so.

Some might take offense being told they need to redo their art because "it's not good enough". Of course the quote won't be said in such manner, but some might feel that way.
If they are good with making another rendition of art they have already completed it's one thing, but if they take offense, another artist would probably be a better choice for obvious reasons.

Let's face it, they wouldn't be being asked to redraw the art if there wasn't something "wrong" with it for international release.
So I'd be able to sympathize if they had some frustration over having to redo it.
A lot of artists do put a lot of heart and soul into the girls they create, even if it's not art everyone can appreciate, the artists talent should still be respected IMO.
