Spica is a good archer, but.... She disappointed me a bit
So fragile.... So easy to be owned by even a meager mage passing by...
Plus she like REALLY needs her skill to be raised to at least lvl 3. And its hard since her skill as unique (so only those never-falling rainbow fairies... again...)

Don't really understand the "Spica is fragile" complaints, her HP is barely worse than a Silver archer but she has MR and higher defense.

Her HP is comparable to a silver archers only after AW at max level. Her def is somewhat of a factor against weaker shooters, but not against much else. 5MR does not rly saves her from anyone or anything. She's fragile and that's a fact - I would rather not risk using her at Thursday H or anywhere else she will be in harm's way. That's a price you have to pay for her awesome damage.

Never put spica in front.... trust me you will need 2nd human archer.
Placing spica need to be on place where she can safely shoot thats where you got tons of dmg output where you really glad you have spica.
Daily starting from extreme / God tier will have poison doing 20hp/ tick here is the time you need to worried about all elf race unit.
Note: archer will very likely need to tank some hit, i seriusly recomended you have 2nd archer thats a human if you using spica.

All this elf talk brings up something that has bugged me since release.
Why in the world is Chydis called the Fairy Queen when she is clearly the Elf Queen?
This is the damn Fairy Queen!
So what the hell gives!?
Granted.... I guess they are technically 'Spirits', but then that would mean elves are fairies in this world not elves....
At the point I have a issue that they don't have wings....

Spica is really squishy, but you can always put a lightning rod down.
If you need a ranged one use Belinda (10 MR) or Echinda (best ranged unit HP and DEF currently). Spica should be somewhere in the back sniping away with her skill.

ergh her skill increase range not that long.
Its ok to put her in front as long she didnt get hit, well it always come to the basic anyway don't let ur ranged get hit.
In time where you need a ranged archer that also act lighting rod, just dont use spica thats all about it, even with healer ready sometime she just died that fast so care unless you really sure.
While i'm on it the picture lafate give that spirit queen can act as any rarity fairy / spirit no idea what you gonna refer for 2x exp in combine and for CC. (most of time treated as black fairy)
Btw translation usually always end up funny anyway, just like how petite didn't agree about Kerry.... her name written Suppose to be Carrie / Carry / Carri or something like that + additionaly Valerie = girl name so it suppose to be Valery

At skill lvl 3 Spica has x1.3 increase in range which is just about enough (at most maps) to ensure she's both away from danger and reaches all the needed routes/spots.
So the way i see it's very important to up her skill.

If I had to make an archer ranking, I'd use 2 regularly and 1 on the side for the off-map that needs 3.

Who I know I will skill up is Cellia. This girl can give up to 20% resist for all kinds of damage to everyone in tight spot, which is pretty damn useful. Combined with her own 10MR and high HP she's a miracle rod for any magic damage. She tanks litches @Immortal Beast for me under just 2 healers. Not infinitely, but when she has to go goatman are long dead and Lillia takes over in her comfortable place with 3rd healer.

Well, by the time you will actually need to farm it for CC50+ unit levelling (with nothing else left), you will be able to do so. At least for me it became clearable at exactly the time.

So in conclusion:
The resources to level, CC, CR, beer grind, and max level Stray yields an archer doing 357 for 13 cost.
The resources to level two bronze archers to 40 and max CR them yields a combined attack of 374 for 10 cost.
Edit: As a fun comparison note for same-rarity archers:
Bella, our unreleased loli catgirl archer, at 50CC60 with 100% affection does 423 damage per shot
Claire, our unreleased loli mechanic archer, at 50CC60 with 100% affection does 398 damage per shot without her Attack up III skill running
I'd use two min costed bronze archers before Stray. Assuming you're (un)lucky enough to CR Stray... let's say once, at max level after CC, he does 303 damage per shot for 13 cost. Meanwhile, One Ars and one Wilfred at min cost together cost 10. Their attacks added together equals 374 damage. Even if someone were crazy enough to 100% trust Stray, he still only does 357.
So in conclusion:

I can't say for certain, but it's possible that 'Fairy' is used as a catch-all term for certain non-humans or perhaps residents of the Fairy Country. Either way, Two of the Dwarf units have the same characters in their name, 妖精, which could be translated as 'Elf' or 'Fairy'. However, 'Fairy' may have been chosen as a general term since it was applied to both Elf and Dwarf units.
