Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
For example, you list an optional princess in the roster but only 1 rogue when starting players will have 2 (3 at lvl 50). .
We do not get any units at 50, we get the one rogue at level 30, that is all.
As to the guide itself, I think it's a bit too ambiguous.
It kinda has to be, since what units a person has plays the lions share of what they can use.
Personally I'd say it's pointless to give numbers of units for a team, and stick to roles.
This may require more precise rolls be defined.
For example is a soldier a tank/blocker, support, or both.
With Call Reinforcements 3, it could be seen as either once they are CC'ed and can block 3.
Saying use 1-2 this and 1-4 that, isn't helpful really. You could just say.."use some units with this type of X stats if ya can". Is just as broad and just as prone to be less helpful then desired.
The game is broad enough that pretty much any team, provided there is at least some mix of units, will do well. Trying to define it or classify it, is an exercise in futility (some may say captain obvious even).
I've made a team with 5 rogues, 5 princesses and 5 healers I can take any non flying map out there, doesn't mean its a good team obviously.
It's just a broad base but it illustrates the point, only certain things really have to be achieved.
Personally if you want to stick to numbers, I'd say stick with the specifics everyone needs or will need. Saying people will need 3 healers for example, is true. You may not need it now depending on the rest of your team to defeat say, Immortal Beast, but there are future maps you will. It's even been recommended you keep 4 handy just in case. Trying to specify a team based on basic/intermediate wont be overly helpful simply because you don't stay in that range long. Even when completely free, by doing events you are going to get access to other units. This only increases with time, right now with the gaps in events, its just taking awhile, but once that speeds up as we should all expect, it no longer becomes relevant.
Probably didn't say most of the above the way I really mean. I think beginning and intermediate serve no real point as they change too quickly and too often depending on the current challenge whether that be a mission map or an event.
Add in the big X factor is always what unit a person got lucky with, and it completely changes the dynamic of what they will use and potentially how their team is built. Even a single unit can accomplish this.
Perhaps assigning an importance value might be more beneficial as to the various roles?
Or saying which units should be leveled up / cc'ed first, that's probably the biggest thing people need help with.
