I cannot actually agree with that. The only event in which any vet of this game has said to specifically spend crystals on are 'collection' events and they only make up about 15-20% of the 40 or so events that have happened. so around 8 events are this collection events. Even then it was said not spending crystals would still result in a fairly powerful unit that would be -2 or 3 with 3/5, 6-7/10, or 10-11/16 Skill. I've actually noted to simply get the unit it is normally fairly easy. Once you have the unit if you really wanted to max it. It will eventually happen. Granted you'll have to use time fairies whenever they are implemented, but it is normally one or two. Then you'll use Rainbow fairies for skill which are much much easier to get.

Assuming someone was operating just on the free crystals, it would be enough for when these collection events turn up right? They would therefore be better served than if they burnt it on gacha rolls that may or may not help them in the long run.

Also, maxing the skill for units is mostly unnecessary right? It obviously helps, but most of the time the effect is going to be pretty marginal in terms of doing maps you couldn't do before, which, at the end of the day, is what this game is about.

Spending money on the gacha is a waste. You would (on average) be much better off spending the crystals on stam refills for events. That way you get guaranteed upgrades for your money and not just a chance at them. It doesn't matter how many free crystals we get, it's really about how you go about spending them to maximise value.

And if the girls I want have their events scrapped and get sent to the gacha instead? Then what?

Then there's a trade-off between getting a tangible benefit out of the crystals vs cosmetic value of playing with your favourite waifu.

Whichever way you decide, you should be prepared to make a sacrifice. In other words, if you've decided to go for the gacha, you should understand that you're going for cosmetic value and shouldn't be disappointed when your account doesn't get stronger overall. You may not get there because of the lotto system, but that's another issue entirely and one that won't be fixed by increasing the amount of crystals.

Very true, but with the way events are happening we can't be sure that they would ever appear. In which case the 50 or so crystals one would have saved up now would better spent on gatcha; or for those who do not which to gamble then spent on Thursday daily to get demon crystals. Which would guarantee you a platinum/gold units, and there are some events that have you buy the unit via demon crystals as well if we get them.

However I have to say at the moment don't attempt to go more then -1 on Chydis or Cyrus if you have them via demon crystal method. Do note that you can beat all the content with just what you get from maps and events. You don't actually need to save for a 'perfect' unit from an event that may never even show up.

Sure, this would make gacha better, but still wouldn't stop streaks of getting the wrong unit. If you're going for Sybilla, you're not going to be any happier getting 7 Clissa instead of 6.

I would... that is a potentially max Clissa. Granted it is a lotto system. You are not guaranteed to get what you want. They are a business and need to make money some how... However that is what whales are for.

so i just got savior title. this increases active effects even further right? by how much is this increasing? 10%, 15%, 25%?

It's dependent on the prince's level.

At level 99, Savior increases stats by 19%.

There's an upgrade to Savior around level 160 or so, I forget.

10 MR=10% MR, nothing complicated.

What are you all doing with your soma's? Any advice? I doubt people are cost reducing her... or are you?

Saving mine, you need a ton of Archers for CCing Platinum units and eventually for Awakenings too, not wasting any on CRing Soma.

Well I'd CR her... cause you know... maps where you need early archers... and since we have no idea when awakening will actually happen. However I'm not getting a ton of her. The ones I do get are going to CR my current units... and I still need one more. At the very least I'd CR her once due to it being 100%

Not sure since I didn't play the JP version, but I do know she'll make one hell of a boss tank. As for 30cc the spare before combining them. I'd do it since her skill changes.

Only extremely specific and nearly non-existent scenarios would allow Clissa to outperform Sybilla, most of the time, you'll be better off benching Clissa if you have both available and don't actually need two duelists.

Now, I'd like to state the following is purely my personal opinion and what I'd do if I were to find myself with multiple copies of Clissa.

I wouldn't CC extra Clissa copies even if I were drowning in Silvers, her Skill's rather poor already and healing 1% more just isn't worth wasting a Silver HA, Soldier and Valkyrie (and the gold/fodder).

I am level 76 and yesterday put my first $10, I did many crystal on gatcha in this month, only a plats, not blacks, only golds and only a silver =D, but I pay for 1.2 xp bonus 2 times and more units x 4 times, It is ok, it is a game, I play only 2 times every days and I want play long time

But this game need many many griding

You've seen the drop rates from this Event, right? You'll always be starving for Silvers unless you use the Premium Summoning all the time.

Only vs high MR enemies will Sybilla have any issues. Outside of those rare circumstances, Sybilla will always be better damage/skill wise. This is even more pronounced once awakenings are implemented. I have 2 Sybilla and 2 Clissa. I still have 2 sybilla, but only 1 Clissa (combined em) to save space.

I have plat Valks (max CR), so for me there was no real reason to use Clissa. Her high cost also makes her a bit undesired for a Valk who is there to feed the unit points in most circumstances. Don't get me wrong, she's still a duelist, and she's still a black rarity, but if compared to Sybilla she will come up short. Most units do, but compare those other units to her (other than Sybilla), and well, she'll win more then her fair share.

As to the effort to CC them before combining, I'd pass personally. Now for the CR, which can be done anytime, that would have already been done unless as stated earlier you are in dire need of more duelist.
