Thanks! I assume the treasure chest cards increase item drops, but what about the cards with the orange spheres on them?

Those cards will have monsters dropping more coins than they usually do. In my opinion, they're the least useful cards since after a while you'll start getting much better equipments from drops and rewards than the items from the shop.

You aren't the only one, I've been at it for 12 hours now and have had no luck finding it either. Been digging through the memory trying to find something that it references to, but no had luck with that either. X_X

EDIT: I am defeated. I can't edit anything that would be useful for navigating the UI.

Do either of you translate japanese? or are you intending to just machine translate this?

I intend to see if I can use some of the standard UI/text injection programs (sorta like spoilerAL but not quite) that would work across versions. But since my japanese is only 10mins past the hour I don't want to have to do that AND interpret google trans-mangle-ation.

If you are able to translate, could you send me (or link) to the complete text in english? Just put it in .txt files.

EDIT: Oh and please also indicate where the text goes;i.e. which scene and who says what. I'm also wondering if a translation hook like AGTH or ITH would work equally well...

There is a couple of folks at Hongfire who have been working on the translation. After reading the recent posts in here, I see that a lot of work has been done by folks at 4chan as well.

I was going to take this on as an applied learning assignment (been studying Japanese for a few years now and the opportunity to study Unity was inviting as well) if no one else bothered with it (I like my H games in English!), but I see no point it now, since a lot of work has been done by the folks at Hongfire and 4chan already.

Yeah but... dude, it involves not one, but two things you already should be trying to expose yourself to. It's real life 2x EXP. So efficient.

Oh yeah I forgot all about VNR. I'll go home today and see if I can get that to work out.

EDIT: Ok well I spent a good 6 hours and yes while VNR will load and latch on (to a certain extent) trying to get the proper text stream will likely drive you mad since even the latest version of VNR (150625) will not properly hook the text. You will likely need to spend every new session of tobihime re-hooking all the output threads. This is ONLY ok if you really really really really want to know what the story is about once. If you intend to use it for regular 'sessions' you are likely to go nuts.

I don't know if you guys already noticed but all Hybrids can mate with both parts from which they came from but with some exceptions.

For example:

Spider/Bee Hybrid can mate with both Spider and Bee
Centaur/Ogre Hybrid can mate with both Centaur and Ogre

And so on...

But Slime/Plant girl can mate with Slime, Plant but also Ogre. Did anyone discovered other exceptions?

Okay since no one mentioned translating this yet (though someone said it is "easy") I'm looking into it more.

Translating common words like "Name", "Attribute", etc. are proving a problem to translate because it looks like the author used a custom UI asset called NGUI to localize common words in the UI. Example, he made [name][/name] always appear as 名前 (Namae) before the name. This is what I think it does, based on the localization.txt, anyways. So feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure where to find the localization database he made but I'm guessing that's what's causing the issue? See here, I changed the attribute type to "Water" yet it still shows up as "水" in game. The name shows, but the other edits are not showing. Maybe there is another file buried in there that I missed.

Will do more testing and searching tomorrow. I spent most of the day gathering tools and learning a bit about Unity since I never really messed with it.

There's a good reason for that: The prefixes aren't part of the localization xml.

I'm looking through to see what can be translated from this angle; but it wouldn't be cross-version compatible.

Edit: Here's the first version of my partial translation. Unzip it into your Tobihime folder, and it will translate tooltips as shown in the screenshot below, as well as a few other things. (This is for the latest version 1.04 and might crash or something if you try to use it with a different version.)

Yep, you can find some of the spreadsheets in this thread that describe all the possible copulation combinations and their resulting offspring.

Glad you liked it. That said, I don't think I'm planning on doing a full translation at this time; My conversational Japanese probably isn't good enough to do a great job of the story. (If anyone is though, and is interested, I'm open to collaborating.)

And here, have an update! Version 2 adds Elemental and Equipment Types to tooltips, as well as some item names and descriptions. They don't flow that smoothly, due to the length differences, but it should help you to understand what you're expected to do when you pick up a mysterious item.

Quick question. I got a card that adds 0.15 to a stat at the very bottom of the character's page. It seems to be 1.0 for just about everyone. Any idea what that does?

Flight distance (飛距離), I presume. It increases the distance you can jump.

That's strange. Take note, that the SEX counter increases by just having sex, not by giving birth. Could you provide a screenshot?

There're icons for some kind of .... placeholder or a naked suit, maybe ?
And its even have tier 3, 4 of hybrid armor(base on star count).

I wonder was it have a possible way to acquire or loot them up on current patch .... hmm

You may have to many items or girls in your inventory. Check the numbers (like 101/100 or 201/200).

That means your inventory is full 200/200 and you need to go to the shop and clear off unwanted sruff

I can help you with that. My japanese isn't the most accurate but I can reform the sentences in passable english. I just need the text plus who said what and when
