Actually, the problem was that I'd gotten confused and thought that the harbor at Vermillion was at Celadon. Like I said, we'll just run with that minor addition. Personally, I think it makes sense anyway.

EDIT: Since the matter came up again, here's my reasoning for leaving the addition. Celadon is clearly a major trade center, with reasonably close access to water. It is only reasonable for the city to at some point expand to include such a harbor.

Just add a small road from the south that leads to a port is all. and it does make sence for at least a Marina, or even a port.

Okay, due to some unexpected events occurring in my personal life, I've asked SirOni to assist with some of the NPCs. So, you may get responses from him, as well.

Until I can finish the encounter charts, though, I'll have to run all such incidents.

The islands that you're referring to, Lurker is the Sevii (sp??) islands which isnt actually a part of the Kanto region, its just outside of it, thats why they arent displayed on the ingame map and why Bill gives you a map of the islands.

Ah, well, I hasn't defeated the Elite 4 on my game yet.

By the way, SOMEONE POST ACTIONS! I allready got my first capture while the rest are still sitting stagnent!

Okay, quick explanation of how I'm handling wild encounters:

The wild Pokemon can take three hits. After the second, it may be captured.

Player Pokemon may take five hits before getting stunned enough that the wild Pokemon can escape.

Same-Type moves add a bonus to the attack role, and Weakness moves count as two hits. Resisted moves add a penalty to the attack. If one side is immune to the particular move type, it's connecting regardless.

Whichever Pokemon connects, the other one misses.
