Re: Jumpers Rebirth

Wait, this is getting revived? Snake rape for all!(on my team anyway) *evil grin*

On a side note, I'd like to see more rapey monsters. As well as female monsters, since strait sex ain't the only kind of sex.

Only kind I'm good at describing!

Women's fingers are like ten tiny penises.

And a lamia's tail is like an extra long penis.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

I'm certain the players would be willing to help out with the female on female descriptions... though I am inclined to favor monsters with at least one appendage meant for penetration. If those monsters have breasts and a vagina as well, all the better.

My vote is for monsters that are primarily inclined to rape the heroines, though I won't complain if there's the oddball monster that is bizarrely concerned with actually defeating us.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

So why exactly is this not going on? Are we waiting for Silent Silth to edit the system? Or is it just that there is no one to GM, because I would be willing to give it a shot. Though I understand if people would feel iffy about someone who has posted as of now a total of twice.

A Debate Rages!

So, it's been brought to my attention that some people don't find the corruption system as attractive as I do. That being said, I'm asking you all to decide how you want it to go:

Option A) Keep it the same. This means that once you hit 700 Corruption Points (keeping in mind that's a total of 2,800 CP you need to gain to hit that mark), you're character will become unplayable, resulting in a game over. There is no way to fix her, and she'll become an NPC fighting to stop EVERY PC from reaching their goal.

Option B) Your character has 100 CP in total. Every fourth of the total she reaches (25, 50, 75) gains her a new level in CP, depending on how she'll act. When you're character hits 100 CP, she'll become unplayable, but will be able to get 'restored' if A: all party members are KO'd, B: The character is taken back to a town, or C: The character is taken back to the Neutral Realm. This is much less serious than in the original game.

Option C) It takes the full 2,800 CP once more. However, once this gained, the character is unplayable, but may be taken back to the Neutral Realm to be healed. It will cost you dearly to have your CP level dropped by one, but by the time your character gets 2,800 Corruption, she'll be a pretty high level character.

Option D) Let the players choose when they first start playing if they want it to be 'Easy' or 'Difficult'. Players on the 'Difficult' setting will the play the game like it's meant to be played; Players on the 'Easy' Setting will go with the system described in Option B, but will not be allowed to become a higher class (Guardian, Aiva or Silth), and will be limited on how many abilities they can get.

Please vote and choose!

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

Not that it'll win, but I really like B the best. I like to get attached to my characters, and I don't really want to be punished for wanting to keep them.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

Personally, I like C the best, but I can see the attraction to D so people can have a choice. So, I vote D.

I vote D.

It's good to allow players the choice at onset.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

I'd say D as well. Of course, you could always make teams of people who pick the same option so you could use more than one at once.

I say D. It's sort of how I'm doing Ikkit Tousen letting people choose and making it as open as possible. Though personally choice C seems good as it keeps GO's from happening until the players have had good amount of playing time and are a fairly high level at least.

Opt for D. Choice is better generally.

At least Tent kinda saw eye-to-eye with me on the gameover thing.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

I'm going to vote for C. I'd rather keep my characters if they meet an undesirerable end, but sometimes having the character get corrupted can be fun. Maybe with an option for a side game or backup character while waiting for the main character to get uncorrupted.

I don't really like the D option though, thinking further on it. If people get penalized for taking the easy route, or get bonuses for taking the hard route, everyone's going to take the hard route, making the choice pointless.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

Totally agreeing with Maiko there. I was personally gunna vote for the 'hard' one myself, if it came to option D. I just figured D might give people options. Maybe 4 teams instead of 2. A hard team and easy team for both good and evil, if it came to that.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

I was intending to go 'hard' as well.... if everyone's going to go hard, then we might as well just go C.

The thought of losing a character that's been built up for a good long while is painful - especially since corruption sounds so much fun. Wouldn't this also discourage players from playing evil ero-classes who actually like going into a corrupting sexual combat? It doesn't seem to play in longevity's favor.

Re: Jumpers Rebirth

So, here's the count I have for the votes:
A- 0
B- 1
C- 4
D- 4

Everyone that seemed to like option C after voting for D the first time I counted for the third option.

If it comes down to it, I'd choose Option C over Option D, even though the game is meant to put some fear in the players over losing a character. If players don't really want to experience that loss, I'll take it out of the game. Keep in mind, if we go with Option C, becoming a higher class (like Aiva, Guardian or Silth) won't clear your total corruption points.

Just vote on option C or D now, seeing as how those are the ones most people prefer.
