Soon the three of them were all up top. Just in case, Fiera yanked up the rope. She could always knock it back down later. With that, they headed back to the old door. Amber stuck the key in, it was pretty noisy. "It's how the door rebellion starts, first they sass you, then they get bold enough to attack.," mutters Fiera.

Soon enough the door parts though, revealing a desk with a fancy telescope, and tons of nice books! Amber found a floor panel though, that seemed neat.

Fiera crouched down to look at it curiously as Amber fiddled with it.

"Ooo, wassit? Is there hidden coins in the floor? Or is it a trap that'd turn you into a squirrel? But keep your bust size, so you'd be hyper busty squirrel? I think your telescope is over there. Wonder what those books hold, oo, maybe more spells for me. Or gold. Or ghosts."

"Ahh trap yes... magic maybe...." Amber continued to fiddle with a set of gears that Fiera's light glinted off. "With the panel open it should be safe to move around a little bit, but if you see anything strange don't touch it." With permision to move around Fiera or Sonja could check out the books or telescope if they wanted.

Sonja still more interested in Amber, and if anything would try to come from behind them would let the other two do whatever it was that they were doing in that room while she simply stood watch for anyone or anything that would try to stop them.

Fiera smiled happily and left Amber to her work and skipped over to the bookshelf and went over the contents happily, seeing if anything caught her eye. She'd probably take the whole lot with her though. Or have Sonja carry them. Probably have Sonja carry them.

She was careful to keep her flame away from the books though. Wouldn't want money and power to go up in flames after all.

Undisturbed Amber moved her delicate fingers to manipulate even far more delicate tools. With a click the woman sighed and got up. "There done I disarmed all the security I could find." Standing up the girl looked at her prize on the table and headed over to inspect it her less than modest attire forgotten.

Meanwhile Fiera inspected the books and found several very rare tomes worth quite a bit. One even radiated magic and was titled the Beginners Guid to Nature Magic No doubt there might be more if she had the oppertunity to search.

Sonja in the meantime was on guard duty. Needless to say it was rather boring. Still as she heard the click she felt the wind in the hallway change as if a sealed room had opened up someplace.

Sonja could not help but go to investigate this feeling. The two of them seemed to be fine in that room as Amber said she had disarmed whatever trap may have been in there. Soon after Amber had said something about disarming the trap(s?), Sonja felt something outside the room like a rush of wind which would normally mean a sealed area had just opened up.

Sonja would try to move in the direction this gust had come from, as she was fairly confident that Fiera was under no immediate duress. Amber at least was there as well, which gave Sonja a conflicting feeling. Leave the two of them in the room, which would potentially leave Fiera alone with Amber? Sonja felt uneasy with this, but her curiosity was simply getting the better of her at this time. She figured since the two of them were still busy in the room that she would just go and investigate this herself since nothing was seemingly happening that would require her to defend Fiera.

"Ooo, magic books, fancy ones. Nature magic? Not really my forte, but maybe I could pick up some new tricks...," says Fiera happily, pulling down carefully all the fancy books, setting them aside for retrieval.

She looked over as Amber went over to check out the telescope. "So that's what a telescope is? I hadn't really any idea. Looks silly, but hey, we all win this way!"

Fiera then turned to Sonja to command her to pack up all the books, then blinked when no one was there.

"Huh? Sonja? Oh no, something must have got Sonja! It must have been the door, that's what she was guarding! Quickly, we must avenge my fallen servant! Amber, you gather up my books and your tele thing! I'll punish this dastard!"

Fiera pulled her whip and walked over and smacked the door with it. "Take that!"

"Yes it is." Thats as much as she got out however as Feira moved to avenge her fallen servent. Amber however did not grab the books but instead looked at Feira as she whipped the door. Raising an eyebrow at the strange demoness the girl instead packed up the telescope thing carefully.

Moving to the door quickly Feira gave it a good lashing which the door seemed to ignore. How dare it mock her after eating her sevent.

Sonja moved down the suspected hallway her eyes sharp as the darkness grew steadly deeper. With out Feira to shed some light the warrior was having a hard time picking out objects in the darkness. More than once she bumped into an object in the hall. Hearing Feira's whip crack however did make her hesitate a moment and thankfully it was a moment she needed as something she couldn't see bumped into an object down the hall she was exploring. She wasn't alone....

Sonja quickly realized how foolish her decision to run off was, as she quickly moved away from the light that was allowing her to see. Her curiosity clearly had gotten the better of her, and it was Fiera's whip cracking that had made her hesitate upon hearing it.

This hesitation may well have been a blessing in disguise as she then was able to notice something moving in front of her. Was it nothing more than some manner of vermin skittering about the floor? Sonja was not about to find out as she would not press on further. The other two girls were seemingly done with whatever it was that they were doing in that room, so calling in some reinforcements was the right play for Sonja at this point.

"There is something down this hall..." was about the only thing Sonja would get out.

Fiera swatted the door again, glaring at it before looking back to Amber. "It's too defiant for it's own- Hey, the books too, darn it! We gotta work together and my hands are full of fire! You're my new head servant with Sonja gone!"

She turned back to whack at the door again, when suddenly she heard Sonja's voice again. "Sonja? You're alive?! Get back ehre and gather up my books, geez! Amber's as slow as you are at it. Next servant I get needs to be quick to it, sheesh. Anyways come on back, if it wants to get in my way I'll deal with it."

Unknown to Fiera Amber rolled her eyes at her as she finished packing up the telescope still intent to leave the books where they sat. Given the situation she wold rather just leave but sense Fiera was in the way she just sighed.

Fiera it seemed was curesed with slow servents. Vowing the next one she meets would be quick on her feet the firey demoness called out to her body guard.

Sonja was still shrouded in darkness. If she wanted to head back it would be a slow process given how little she could see, but with the strange sounds in front of her it did seem like a good idea to head back. Straining her eyes in the darkness proved useless but her ears did pick up more sounds. There was more than one of them and they where far to big to be vermin.

Sonja realizing the situation she likely would have gotten herself into were she to continue, would not advance further.

Her only real choice to make was to go back to where Fiera and Amber were.

Fiera sighs irritably back at Amber. "Well, if you're not going to carry my books, then get your blades ready because we have company and I have the light. If you are going to hang back, then bring the books too because I can't carry them and make us all not blind as bats. Get it? It's for all of our benefits here. Geez, have to do all the thinking round here."

She grumbles and steps into the doorway and raises the light, waiting for Sonja to pull back to her so she could safely ignite the hallway. Fiera wanted her books and for the three of them to get out safe but Amber was being frustratingly stubborn for someone who was getting what she wanted and safety and a job.

Maybe she'd let Sonja play with her after all to try and help her loosen up a bit.

Pulling back Sonja would stumble and bump into random things thankfully not hurting herself or losing her balance. Unfortanatly it did make a lot of noise and what ever was ahead of her would be sure to follow. Seeing the firey glow and a mostly clear hallway the warrior woman could breath a little easier. Her foes not yet appearing Sonja would continue to fall back to the support of her Leige.

Sonja was frustratingly slow the warrior looking ready for combat. She backed off in measured steps keeping her guard up. Meanwhile Amber seemed to have heard the irritation in Feira's voice and was busy packing what she could in her satchel.

After a moment Sonja and Feira saw the first of many shambling corpses enter the outer limit of the light. Withered and flamable looking the things moved forward their tattered clothing remincent of mage robes or monks. However there was alot of them piling down the hallway.

Fiera nods appreciatively once she noted Amber getting to work, Fiera making sure that the girl grabbed the best ones, and her magic book. She loathed to leave any behind, but it's not like they had a cart. Though maybe they could make multiple trips?

Finally Sonja was back! Before Fiera could hug her resurrected companion and maybe bite her a little, corpses came shambling out after her. Nice flammable walking corpses. Lot's of em, and guessing by the tattered robes, crossdressers.

"Oh no, your coming back from the dead left the gates open and now the dead walk the earth! Sonja, you fool, your loyalty beyond death is commendable, but don't bring everyone else with you! Those guys are jerks! Wait...," cried out Fiera, before pushing ahead of Sonja a bit.

"Hey, are you here to be my servants? No? Yes? Stop moaning! Are you mocking me?! I'll show you! Sonja, Piggy Back of Fiery Love Attack!"

Fiera attempted to climb atop of Sonja's shoulders, and once there, promptly cast Flamethrower ahead at the zombies, encouraging Sonja to carry her forwards with her hips.

If for whatever reason she could not, she would pout then walk forward and do it herself, muttering curses about bees.

Sonja would try to keep Fiera up in the air on her shoulders as much as she possibly could. The effort being in trying to keep anything away from Fiera that she could so that it would be burnt to oblivion.

Fiera was quick to mount her bodyguard and chant her spell. It was hard work as Sonja despite her best effort had trouble keeping Fiera steady as she summoned forth burning fire. Seeming everything that moved into the blaze seemed to ignite and die with the only problem being the sheer number of the creatures. Meanwhile Amber stuck her head out the room to see the commotion going on. "You two are crazy!" With that the lithe rogue quickly moved into an adjoing room intent to flee from the death fires.

((No worries, tis that time of year. It is likely that I will disappear for a bit between the 23rd and the new year myself. ))

Sonja was slightly amused with how easily Fiera dispatched the crowd. When Sonja heard amber say something, she lost her focus for a short while and had to work a bit just to keep Fiera mounted on top of her so that she could do her thing. Just about the first split second Sonja had, she would get Fiera back on the ground and try to go after Amber.

Sonja knew where she was going, and it had to be that she had what she wanted and was trying to now flee the scene. This was something that cannot be allowed.

Fiera laughed excitedly as she fried the nasty undead, like a totem of hell. "I'M BIGGER THAN YOU!," roared Fiera gleefully from atop her perch, watching the flames dance happily as they feasted on nasty evil flesh.

However, her chef clearly was dismayed by their enemies insistence at diving into the flames and ran off. With their stuff. Well that was an issue, they hadn't made an rendezvous.

Fiera grimaced and kept casting, hopping down with a sigh and maintaining the Flamethrower spell, wincing as bruised herself a little making sure not to accidently light her bodyguards head on fire.

"Hey, go keep Amber, and my prizes safe ok- oh good you're on it. I've got this! Back, back you piles of soon to be cinders! Back into your zombie treehouses, where your zombie wives birth endless zombie squirrels that fuze to form new zombie hordes! Back I say!"

Fiera nodded, sure that her bodyguard could handle it and slowly walked forward while forcing the flames out to push her foes back, yawning a bit. She was a little sleepy, and a little empty. She hoped those two would be fine. She needed to break her rules again. Just this once, she'd be a succubus again just for a little while, then back to being a proper fire demon.

Climbing down Fiera was able to continue to barbecue the undead hordes leaving Sonja to chase Amber. As her fires continued to incinerate the undead flesh small fires began to burn from the discarded debris.

Sonja meanwhile was free to pursue Amber if she wanted or stick it out with Feira. By the looks of it the zombies would be incinerated before reaching her employer. Still the floor was starting to catch fire.
