Re: Samurai Sacrament (Act)

Does anyone know how exactly to flip the switch in the poison floor room? Or what it does even?

edit: nevermind, I figured out how to do it after I read that C lets you dash. A lot better than double tapping

Re: Samurai Sacrament (Act)

Here's my save. Has all of the CGs, sprite animations, and levels unlocked.
I'm probably missing some items though. Have fun.

Re: Samurai Sacrament (Act)

Well now, that was a pretty fun game ..A bit short, though I learned something fairly quickly. You are completely overpowered, act super aggressive and most enemies won't have a chance to fight back.

Exceptions being the final boss and samurai guy, who ..Like to counter.
You can block counter if you get the upgrade which totally destroys the game, blocking gets you the help packages from the support robots and the samurai boss just gets destroyed.
*edit* should also note it doesn't work at all vs the final boss, but the trick there is to jump slash her in the face which makes the fight incredibly easy.

Re: Samurai Sacrament (Act)

Heres my save.
All CGs, Animations, Levels unlocked.
All Equipment, Soul Gear, Skills, and Max Health Buffs found.

Why would anyone want a full save though? Its pretty short, simple, and fun! I'd advise anyone to play it before plucking a 100% save.

edit: sorry, had to reupload my save cuz i forgot 1 soul capacity and 1 max health upgrade. Besides that, it should be every item unlocked.

Re: Samurai Sacrament (Act)

Well one reason would be that some enemies can be a right pain in the ass to get going especially if you have the armor, just getting killed takes forever and when it's a ranged enemy good luck getting the scene before the level ends.

Great game, very good animations and gameplay. I've been expecting a lot sine the early demo and wasn't disappointed. The only thing I find lacking is some nice final-final boss animation :(

I don't think so, at least it doesn't work for me either.

Can somebody help me out with how the controls work? I'm in this small room at nearly the beginning where there's only small way up, blocked by some spherical enemies. Wall jumping can be done only once AFAIK

In 2'nd stage when You go inside at the most right of the game
Or when You see the gas container
Go inside , and go up. Eventually You go back to outside
Go down , swing the gas container. Put it just beside the car
Hit the gas , car will explode. Revealing new area
Inside , there is an item to let You double jump.

Sorry for Bad English~

You need to have one of the electricity-shooting drones follow you to the machine on the left and charge the machine with the drone's attack.

Go back to the previous room, there's a spawn for the flying enemies.
Lure one left above the machine and get it to zap that, now the big lift in the room you were in will move.

EDIT:
Hmm, how do you get the amor in the room with the toxic floor?
Double-jumping doesn't seem to be enough to reach the higher platforms, but I noticed there's another switch to the bottom right, but the only way to reach it seems to be going through the sludge, which kills me before I can get to there...

Wow, just wow. This has got to be some of the best "playing" side scrolling H games I've ever played alongside the likes of Parasite in City and Lab: Still alive. Hell, might arguably be better than them. Controls are tight and fair and failures are mostly yourself to blame.

Animations department though, not the best in the industry but considering the quality of the controls, I'm even willing to play the game without the H IF the game is not as short as it is. Also, only if i know Japanese, this would have struck more sweetspots.

The usual way to get to the right switch is by switching the left one "down" so that the first platform goes just left-right-left horizontally.

However, while dashing, you should be able to easily jump to the right switch from the initial setup (where the first platform goes clock-wise).

Once you switch the right one in this setup (so, finally, you will have left switch "up" and right switch "down"), you will notice that the first platform is still moving clockwise... but it goes one lever higher now.
With dash + double jump from the top-right corner of its path, you should be able to easily access the armor.

While that did work perfectly, there's a third switch in that room.
If you're standing by the right switch, you'll be able to see it further to the right behind a wall.
There's a path to that hidden switch below the normal right one by dropping down into the sludge, a corridor filled with sludge and three slimes leads there, but you're just taking too much damage to reach it.
Since it's not necessary to get the armor or health up in that room, I wonder what it does...

I was actually just able to get there (35 HP, all equip, I also used the water shield-y thingy skill, though I have no idea what it does) - was lucky, because a helper drone with HP potion landed right there when I emerged from the pool, so I had enough HP to actually manage to go back.

This switch basically makes the platform travel around the largest perimeter (both top and both bottom corners), clockwise, granting easy access to everything.

Yeah, at first I thought the game was dropping inputs when I was doing the moving platforms in the second level, then I realized I was jumping a little too late off one of the smaller disappearing ones. Kind of a pleasant surprise when you realize its the not the game sucking, but you.

My only real complaint is the H stuff is a little lackluster. The loops are too short, I think, but otherwise this is a high 8 or low 9 on gameplay alone.

Re: Samurai Sacrament (Act)

how do you destroy the barriers in the levels that lead to the extra areas like the metal boxes in first and third stage and the trash in the second I've tried some of the special attacks and there not working

btw anyone who is collecting the CG/animations if you push \ key it gives you an exhausted status which knocks you down next hit and you dont need to game over to get CG just need to view the animation once

The armor reduces damage. You can get to it by using the Water Orb's temporary buff by holing up and charging your soul gauge until it activates. "Regenerate" should appear above your head and you should be immune to the sludge and heal 1 life every 2~3 seconds.
