Well, the event just ended. That was so anti-climactic it's almost funny.

I dropped a total of four ranks during the entire final hour of the event, while doing absolutely nothing in-game other than look at the rankings table.

this makes me cry. i thought it was gonna end tonight 6-7pm pst since that's when the new day starts in japan.

because of that, i was gonna take my take to move up another 46 spots to get a third gatcha ticket...

the end of the event blind-sided me and now it's over

Arguably, you've only got yourself to blame for getting time zones mixed up. Japan Standard Time is in UTC+9. Pacific Standard Time is in UTC-8. That's a 17-hour difference, meaning the new day in Japan starts at 7:00AM PST.

i mean i thought they were gonna end it at the same time raid bosses get the weekly reset. like it did today at 5:30PM PST. might have been 5PM but that's only a 30 minute difference i didn't keep track of.

it's only my second event so i didn't know they get taken down before the weekly reset.

I always google "japan time" without the quotes to make sure i got the time right for this reason.

all i see is they aren't annerose. time to save up pots again. only gonna do the event for the HR tickets and even then on what i can get on regen alone.

Christ, I keep getting my MVP rewards sniped when calling for a rescue at ~40% boss health.

This could have been avoided entirely if the incompetent programmer in charge had used some fucking bounds-checking such as ensuring that boss health can never end up in negative values.

last time i checked ~position 980 with 3420 points, trying to stay in the 2k range for the card, but duno if I can.

This week I don't have so much time and other stuff to do.

about 55 hp pots and i'm on floor 76.

currently:

place - 3732

points - 1361

i'm aiming for the 2001 to 3500 range for the 2 HR tickets and 3 gacha tickets. with 220 hp pots left and i already have my RB dropping 4 pots for mvp. this should be possible.

Ah, I figured out why my MVP awards keep getting sniped now, when it wasn't a problem before.

It's because my attack team is full of % defense down users.

So even if I'm taking off 60% of the boss's health, the absolute value of the damage I'm doing is actually less than of someone coming along with a team full of ally attack up cards. The game uses absolute values instead of relative ones to determine MVP status.

Of course, that's on top of bounds still not being checked, so the boss could have less than 1% health left and if some one came along and could deal in a single hit the damage equivalent of 100% of its health, the overkill would count and he would be declared the MVP in spite of the 99% previously dealt by someone else.

Ergo, important caveat: When using % defense down and calling for raid boss rescues, you are more vulnerable to having your MVP rewards stolen than if you were using ally % attack up. I guess that's the trade-off for the inherent strength of the former.

Damnit, tried to clock in more Premium Summons during the last hour of the last event. No luck in getting the UR Sakura. GFDI! I really wanted her. Ah well, it's just not meant to be, I guess but it rankles my soul.

As for this event, nothing too dramatic for the time being. I bet that's going to change soon once we reach the last 2 days of the event. Currently hovering around 1,500-ish. Hoping to stay above 2,000, is all. Nice to see that Lilith has stopped spamming new cards every event.

Damn, not able to get that UR Sakura really rankles my soul.

yeah, this event has been snail pace slow. i am currently 2054 place and am looking to stay here. i want the 2 HR tickets and 3 gacha normal tickets rather then the event card. gonna save those for when a card i like comes out.

Well, I certainly wouldn't mind getting the Tickets but my completionist soul cries out for getting as complete a collection as I can muster. Ugh, so many cash sunk just trying to get that Sakura. I ended up maxing out 3 of the HR Special Attacker last event. I do hope that Lilith will think about bringing back some of the limited cards.

On that note, I wonder how would a Premium Summon System that increases the odds of getting a higher rarity cards the more summons you do will fare here?

I'm looking forward to seeing the cast of Annerose joining the ranks as useful cards but at the same time, fear because it'll be hell trying to get them via summons.

dangit got back to this game after a long hiatus.

just got my first card at floor 70 i just hope i canr each floor 100 before the time limit (i no longer have pots)

from now until the 20th? yeah through natural regen you'll make it.

last night i only fell 300 spots from 2000s to 2300s, yeah, with 275 pots left i think i'll get my 2 HR tickets and 3 normal.

also, there is gonna be a premium summon? can you explain more about that please.
