Agreed - thx for sharing in PM --> +rep

Too bad there isn't more trait selection, do all of the trainer traits (butler, teacher, etc) have ways to be increased in game?

So when I go to an apartment and they say 'I need X type of slave with at least rank D' how do I sell them the slave? I think I meet the requirements...

Well shit this game is a wee bit darker than slave maker, for starters you can butcher the slave you are training for meat.

I really like this game, can't wait till it gets fully translated. Question, how do you raise up your slavers skills? Some of them seem like they would rise as you use them, i.e. the sex skill, but what about cooking and combat? Asking specifically for the extreme difficulty slaver who starts off with horrible stats in EVERYTHING.

I am more concerned about how do you actually made money in this game.

Winning the Colosseum using your slave doesn't seem to give money like I hoped it would...

Yeah, they increase slightly each time you train your slave personally. It's not a significant increase, so you won't be noticing changes just after training one slave, but after some time they will improve. What exactly you need to train you can know from the tooltip by pressing skill you are interested in. E.g. butler is developed by training cookery and housekeeping.

Also no idea what the potions do...
Bacchus, Tonic and Balm are combat items. They restore Morale, Stamina and Health appropriately and apply positive effects.
Aphro - increases sexual desire, quite obvious.
Lithe - not sure at the moment, let me double-check it when I get back home. I think it soothes fear.
Philtre - it's common name for love potion.

So when I go to an apartment and they say 'I need X type of slave with at least rank D' how do I sell them the slave? I think I meet the requirements...
A lot of customers care about appearance, both yours and slave's. Even if your slave meets the requirements, but either or both of your are unkempt/disgusting, most likely you won't be able to finish a deal. Try going to Salon of Madame Jofre and do some Men (for slaver) and Women (for slave) services. You don't need to keep it doing all the time, though - just go there before the trade.

Well shit this game is a wee bit darker than slave maker, for starters you can butcher the slave you are training for meat.
Yep, exactly what I meant when I mentioned being vegetarian.

I am more concerned about how do you actually made money in this game.

Main profit is done by trading slaves. A slave of S+ rank nets from 6000 to 10000 sparks, which will fund all your future transaction. But when I trained one, it took me approximately 200+ days to do that, so it may be hard. Another approach would be to train a lot of low ranked slaves without spending much on them and rising money little by little.
There's also a way to make a little of money, but that depends on your combat skills and equipment. If you have decent ones, you can patrol Border of the Fogs and capture unbranded slaves. Then you can turn them in the Slave Market and you'll be given 10 to 80 sparks, depending on the quality of the slave. But given the current state of translation I recommend you to be cautious and save before going out - random encounters text is yet to be translated and you can meet a monster that's too tough to be handled, which essentially will lead to game over. (and you need to own slave for this method to work, otherwise you'll just take her in for training).

No idea how to get the "Fiend's Muccus"
To get this muccus you'll need following:
1. Go to real estate and rent a pen for fiend.
2. Go patrol borders of the Fog and fight a tentacled moster (you'll be able to tell him apart from other encounters by distinct picture) get a girl for yourself (therefore you need to not have a slave at that moment). She should be already pregnant with fiend at that time
3. Ignore my warning in post #1 and don't get her abortion
4. Endure gore scene (sound warning) :(
5. A fiend will be placed in the pen
6. From now on a Fiend training option will be open in training screen
7.1. Doing this training with another slave will net you some muccus, as well as get her pregnant, so you'd better sterilize her at Technosphere
7.2. If you have an assistant, she has 'You are milkmaid', which essentially means that she'll milk the fiend everyday on her own. She still needs to pass Fiend training, as without it she'll just be raped senseless without any gain of muccus whatsoever.

Re: [SLG] Jack-o-nine-tails

Can you please keep us updated whenever you release a new translation ?

As it stands, the game is a bit too crude to me in what I manage to understand, and neither AGTH nor ITH can't seem to hook anything to translate. I can't even copy text from within the game, which strangely enough works for other QSP games. Understanding at least partially what is going on in a game makes a HUGE difference to me.

Anyway, not going to complain, I know how difficult undertaking a translation effort such as yours can be, and will be patient like everyone else.

Thank you again, Monceber.

Re: [SLG] Jack-o-nine-tails

maybe I need to wait till he's done translating my slave just keeps killing me over and over and its always looping back into depression Id rather not sell my first slave buts its getting pretty annoying making no progress just slowly depleting my money trying to improve her temperament just so she can kill me before I even manage to run out of money and then I have little idea why this keeps happening since I can't read most of the dialogues.

Uff, I finally found out that you need to brand a slave (outcast quarter) before you can sell her.
Now if only I would know what I have to do before I can promote her to assistant.

I think I will try using a newocr.com if I print screen and cutout a small box around the text in paint it can read most of it then it will put it through google translate only problem is its kind of tedious and the letters close to the edges tend to not get picked up properly because the border of the dialogue box crosses through the letters but I think if I use this I might slowly start to understand why my slave keeps killing me and how I can prevent it at least until Monceber can translate more of the dialogues and such

Re: [SLG] Jack-o-nine-tails

Yep, that was my intention from the start :) I'll be updating only when I've done some significant changes (because QSP is hateful engine), so it may take some time.

Now if only I would know what I have to do before I can promote her to assistant.
Assistant is someone who can keep an eye on your slaves, train them instead of you. Therefore you can't have a slave, who isn't devoted to you as an assistant. Keep an eye slave's aura, specifically Emerald glow of devotion. I think three and more stars should be more than enough for you to appoint her as an assistant.

I think I will try using a newocr.com if I print screen and cutout a small box...
Why bother if you can simply PM that part to me? :)

Re: [SLG] Jack-o-nine-tails

Thanks for the answer, but I still have a question, how do you increase them with the Maximal Difficulty character? Also how do you increase his magic ability? It says to train enchantresses or applying magic at the highest level availible, but I have tried caster Auspex constantly, but it has not increased at all.

Also, what exactly do the different features a slave can have do?

Also, how do you equip weapons and armor? I have bought some, but I don't see them in the equipment screen.

I doubt you want me to pm you like 50 million lines for you to translate everytime I get to a part of the dailogue that seems important or would me doing that actually help you translate faster?

I believe Ive figured out why I kept dying I wasnt looking at my energy meter which was always crashed because my slave was refusing to do anything helpful and also my slave kept attacking me while my health was low but I think I solved that by renting a dungoen and leaving her in it whenever it says shes "looking at me with hatred etc. shes actually doing stuff now though still looping around depressed. Now I just need to figure out some way to make money without selling my slave or just crap out and just spam selling slaves.

Im also curious about how to equip weapons and armor Im thinking maybe it wont allow me since my character isnt a fighter currently?

Re: [SLG] Jack-o-nine-tails

Also, what exactly do the different features a slave can have do?
Well, they initially don't have any division, but by the effect features can be divided into five groups: phobias, likes, talents, tastes and general.
Dislikes/phobias make some punishments have greater effect on slave, but on the other hand can hinder in training of some sexual practices (like with 'Shy' trait example I've given earlier). It may just have a negative effect without positive one.
Likes make teaching some sexual skills easier, but may have detrimental effect on certain kind of punishments. You won't really get much by making a slave with 'exhibitionist' to show off her naked body - she'll enjoy it; on the other hand, teaching her relevant skills will be easier.
Likes/dislikes are pretty much opposites of each other and for each phobia trait there is opposite likes trait. What they all have in common is that they refer to punishments.
Next are talents. Unlike with phobias, they are only positive effects and they target only general skills (cookery, alchemy, etc).
Next - tastes. They are similar to likes/dislikes, but they refer to rewards you can get for your slave. They can be both positive (certain rewards are more effective) and negative (certain rewards are less effective). E.g. 'hyperactive' slave won't appreciate you giving her a free time, whereas a 'lazy' one will be quite happy.
And last one - general is a group which consist of traits, that didn't fall into any other group. A typical trait of this group 'megalomania' allows you to give the highest praise to your slave even for the tiniest achievements without being afraid to spoil her.
That's the general outline about the traits. And like I said, all of traits are initially hidden. To make them show up on the slave's screen you'll need to test different trainings/punishments/rewards. The only traits which are pretty much bound to appear by themselves (if a slave has one) are metabolism-related.

Also, how do you equip weapons and armor? I have bought some, but I don't see them in the equipment screen.
You need to press arrows to the left of the equipment slot (refer to the image below)

Thanks for the answer, but I still have a question, how do you increase them with the Maximal Difficulty character?
Hm, I was quite sure that it would work for him the same way. I'll need to double-check that to give a definite answer.

Well, if you have a same problem which keeps occurring, it wouldn't hurt to look into it.

but I have tried caster Auspex constantly, but it has not increased at all.
It's protection against abuse - you won't be able to improve it if you spam it all the day. It will count only once a day.

I ask because they start so low, like how do you increase doctor when you can't really train your slave as a nurse?

One final question, what do each of the different spells do? The Auspex one I already know.
