Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

thx for the writeup of the basic functions, makes things a lot easier. :)

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

Uploaded a styleload folder making it easier for those don't want to waste time filling out the whole thing with custom units.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

So looks like there's a money exploit in this game...

Call a Class Assembly and use the "I want an Aion Egg (Grade 1)" proposal. You'll get a [Common Egg] if the proposal passes, and it's repeatable. Proposal costs 40 Eska, egg sells for 200. Do the math.

Savescum if you need to.

It's more tedious than battling mobs later on, but the money you get here can be very useful in the beginning of the game, as it lets you get a full team with full equipment right at the start.

This is likely unintended by LunaSoft, as all the upper-tier eggs sell for only 1 Eska. Developer oversight, I suppose.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

anyone has a better transliteration for "Tarouzu"?

The english dlsite calls them Taros Units.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

So a minor correction on what nnescio wrote
ii) Dismantle Equipment
- Breaks down refined equipment into crystals. Higher grade equipment yield better crystals. The refinement level of an item can be improved by winning fights with the item equipped.

Dismantling actually requires an item in inventory that's got the star mark ('100%' on one of the stats)

The % is increased by having it equipped on a character as you go into battles.

Main weapon seem to get the highest % increased (or per use)

I guess this + the upgrade system is to replace Item World in Disgaea, since this game is less 'floor'-y.

And a few tips/other things not mentioned:
-HP is recovered fully after each battle.
-Weapon proficiency is gained after battle regardless of whether you used that unit to fight or even switch weapon at all.
-You can 'stack' weapon proficiency gain by equipping the same type of weapon on multiple slots.
-Healers are pretty weak early, you can bring them to level them up, but I'd recommend having them on the reserve member slot.
-Shaman (or rather the cursed weapon category) starts with Poison Nova, a medium damage, hit-all, 0 BP damage skill, which is freaking awesome in lay wasting enemies when they always seem to come in 3+ group, I highly recommend having at least one of these around. (the second skill, Gravity, reduces evasion, is pretty bad, and auto-combat tend to spam that thing if you have it equipped so I highly recommend not equipping Gravity even if you unlocked it)
-There's a folder ユニット画像読み込みサンプル that have some extra images you can use for Aions, just copy the numbered folder inside into StyleLoad folder (I recognize the other mage from one of the game before they become Luna Soft)

1. BP (Balance Point)
This is the orange bar under HP/MP.

If it drops to 0, the unit is stunned and will almost always take critical hits from enemy attacks. (This also apply to the enemy too *hint hint*)
Each attacks have 4 main value: MP cost, attack multiplier, BP damage.
And type of damage (what stat it's scaled from)

Certain weapon skills are more proficient at certain tasks so you should consider what you want your party to do (for example, Axe has a HUGE attack multiplier compare to most weapons, but it has very low BP damage, whereas Shield have pretty low damage for its high MP cost but the BP damage is high)

In case you're going for a non-hack run (but savescumming allowed) then my suggestion is to:
Spam class assembly for Aion egg grade 1 then sell it until you've got enough money so that you can:
-Have 7 aions besides the main 3 (at least 1 Shaman if possible)
-Fully equipped them (with 1 tier 2 weapon if you did the assembly/care about them)
-Have a full Taros defense squad ready

Then spend a few entry to dungeons gaining some level/proficiencies up (and get some starred equipment to upgrade your main party while at it)

And for those using cheat engine, I recommend not going too high on the numbers.
The game basically 'rolls' number visual up as you gain/lose them, so if you, say, jumps to 1 billion esca, you'd be waiting for a while for the counter to catch up...

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

What engine is this game based on ?

Neither AGTH, nor ITH (I've tried v2 and 3) manage to pick up any text that could be translated.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

i have the agth one if anyone want

but main reason i havent posted yet is b/c it doesnt really work well when they are in dungeon.
the way the code pull text seem to also keep pulling hp and mp so text is dungeon dont work.

I would appreciate it if you shared the AGTH code you used with everyone here, so that more people can inspect it and perhaps improve on it if it needs to be.

As I said, I've tried various options, both with AGTH and ITH, and none seemed to work for me. Usually AGTH at least gives me some mangled text with /X3 /V. If it doesn't, one version of ITH, or the other works. With this game, nada, nichts, rien, which is frustrating.

Believe it or not, and maybe I am in the minority, I don't play H-games if I can't understand at least the beginning of a context. There are enough flash productions if I wanted to randomly clicking everywhere and call it "playing a game".

Any help would be fantastic.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

sorry for the late reply. kind of got busy and forgot to post back lol.

anyway here's the code i made. feel free to look deeper to find a cleaner hook seeing how i'm pretty much a novice with OLLYDBG

/HBN-C*@42A61F

a few note though if your using the above hook.
1. the intro part with the white background doesn't get hook
2. don't forget to turn on remove repeat phrase
3. i would advise going to a different hook when your in dungeons
4. i haven't really play that much so not sure how well it will hook after first talking scene lol.

anyway hope this helps.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

Wow... As expected from Lunasoft, this game is probably going to be huge. Loved their last game, well, maybe minus the fact that you had to go through it FOUR TIMES to unlock all scenes, but still... Wow.

The gameplay looks like it will be super fun, and the art, well, there's nothing to say about the art really, it's Lunasoft...

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

Got a question. Certain skills don't seem to be able to be activated, like certain shield and one-handed sword skills that have a different symbol. Their readout shows an MP cost, then a percentage, then another percentage. What do those skills do, and how useful are they? I assume they're a passive skill.

Also, some things that I've noticed. Some other weapon types that have been useful for me so far have been the axe, bow, and spear weapons. They all have skills that attack multiple enemies, and those skills can be learned fairly early. Healing seems like it's really good later on, but it seems relatively unnecessary with weaker early game spells. Spears can also be used from the back row, making party placement a little more versatile (if I didn't already have three casters and two ranged weapon users, lol). Lastly, abuse the hell out of equipping weapons of the same type to stack skill growth.

I seem to be playing this like I do Disgaea. My weapons are top notch, but my armor's garbage.

Yep, those are passives (or rather, 'reactives'). They activate on a trigger (being attacked, after attacking, etc.) Shield skills generally read "when attacked, x% chance of negating y% damage.

They are highly OP. Some of them mention they require a specific weapon equipped to work but this is bugged; all reaction skills work regardless of what weapon you have in your hand. The best are the "% chance to land another attack after striking another enemy" skills. If they activate when you use a hit-all attack, the reaction skill will hit all enemies again. This triggered attack can itself trigger another reaction skill (but fortunately, not itself).

End game I tend to stack four attack-triggered reaction skills and one hit-all attack on my units when I'm not fighting bosses. OP? Yeah, but some enemies can use the same tricks on you too (I'm looking at you, Golem) so you might as well join the party.

These skills are not as useful against bosses as they use the 'power' value of the reaction skill, which is usually far lower than most single-attack skills. Against bosses, you're better off using shield skills that can negate 100% of the damage. (the ones that only negate 10% are useless), or the 'negate and counter' skills usually found at the end of weapon skill trees. The 'negate and counter' skill can also nullify a hit-all attack against your teammates.

The normal counter skills are useless. They don't negate damage, and usually your units wind up doing far more attacks than they receive.

Also, some things that I've noticed. Some other weapon types that have been useful for me so far have been the axe, bow, and spear weapons. They all have skills that attack multiple enemies, and those skills can be learned fairly early. Lastly, abuse the hell out of equipping weapons of the same type to stack skill growth.

I tend to not favor axes as they have a slow 'charge' time and generally do not deal balance point damage (stunning enemies is important end-game as they have hit-all attacks that can quickly stun your team if you don't stun or kill them first). Their attack reaction skills are very useful though, due to their high base power.

Healing skills are generally subpar since they need a charge-up time like all skills. Using items has immediate effect, which make them more useful (and they're cheap). Generally, you are better off quickly killing or stunning the opposing team instead of stalling, and another attacker is therefore more useful than a healer.

Boss battles are an exception though. These tend to drag out for some time, making a healer more useful.

I usually have a healer in reserve (who also happens to be my buffer) who I swap in for boss battles.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

Does anyone know what the pink crystals do? they show up when i'm "making" a new unit along with the eggs but are grayed out.

I think you're talking about the power-up crystals. Try going to the item shop and picking the third option. Should take you to a screen where you can use those.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

Good day to everyone.

Mind if I ask some questions?

So basically I already finished up to chapter 8 then continue to something like Kanji chapter then when I click the next chapter, I'm stuck. No new dungeon, no new bills (except the lvl 9 equip and both 100% something).

Is this the limit of the current game or is there an update? Or I'm stuck with a bug?

Thanks for the attention.

Try going through all the levels available to you, there might be something new in one of them?

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

OT: I really really hate Japanese thread titles, or RJ/RE number titles for that matter.

Whenever I see this thread bumped I'm always going "oh, whats this? Oh, this game... again"

If only the OP had taken 5 minutes to whack the title into translate.google then cut and pasted the English title - Cradle of Azure, into the subject bar.

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

Already tried it. Nope, no dice.

As I said before, the only thing I can think of is either I messed up somewhere or the current version limit only to rank 9.

The reason why I think there should be more is because of the prize from the hospital. Up to rank 10 and upgrade crystal with 7 points (which means, should be at least from rank 14 equips).

EDIT:

My bad, I finally found where I made the mistake. Apparently, I need to go back to the dungeon with white flower. Derp me.

I -just- jumped into the game here and I have a few questions.

1. Is there a point to keeping the 3 prinnies that you start with after the tutorial dungeon?
2. Is it me or did they use the travel music of Incubus Fantasy for their 2nd dungeon?

Re: LunaSoft - 蒼穹のクレイドル

is the full game out? if so, where can i find it?
